I have been a member of the Cache community approximately one year…read more Cache Studios is so much more than a dance studio--it's truly a community. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with open arms, good vibes, and an energy that lifts your spirit. Whether you're brand new to salsa or have been dancing for years, this is the kind of place that makes you feel like you belong. The instructors are not only incredibly skilled in NY style salsa/mambo, but they also teach with passion, patience, and heart. Every class is structured, yet fun, and you walk away each time having learned more than just steps--you grow in confidence. Cache isn't just about learning how to dance... it's about discovering the dancer within you. It's a space that uplifts your emotional and mental well-being through movement, music, and connection. There's something incredibly powerful about moving your body, pushing past your comfort zone, and realizing just how much you're capable of. And the best part? The people. You meet others who are there not just to dance, but to enjoy life, make friends, and have a genuinely good time. It's impossible to leave Cache without a smile, a little more rhythm, and a stronger sense of self. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a dance class--Cache Studios is where community, confidence, and culture come together beautifully.

She may also pick students to help out with the younger children! I'm gonna take tap and jazz/hip hop this fall with my friend, and maybe ballet and contemporary! Classes are cheaper than other dance studios! My mom doesn't have to pay a lot of money for me to take classes! Parents can also look through the windows through the doors to watch their children! Unlike some other studios. You can always take your child for a treat at the bakery next door :) A Burger King is also near by if you're hungry! Fancy Feet is so convenient! Look at the awards on the walls - a bunch of 1st place awards from Starbound, Jump, etc. If you go into competition team, you may even meet the girls from Dance Moms Fancy Feet has performed at Disney, The Olympic Village, and much much more! I totally recommend this Dance Studio!

After two years at Reveal, I can honestly say that recital day was the final straw…read more Parents were required to leave their children backstage for approximately four hours. At one point, I simply wanted to check on my daughter and make sure she was okay. Instead of being treated with respect, I was dismissed by a staff member who loudly said, "Somebody come get her," as if I was causing a problem for wanting to see my own child. As a paying parent, I found that incredibly rude and unprofessional. Looking back, if I had seen the condition my daughter was in at that moment, I would have absolutely freaked out. She later came out for her second dance looking completely disheveled, with her hair undone and appearing as though no one had checked on her. We were told the children would be supervised and performance-ready, but that clearly was not the case. What upset me even more was learning that my daughter had asked to use the bathroom and was not taken. She ultimately ended up wetting herself. No one contacted us to let us know, no one explained what happened, and no one communicated with our family. Then, during pickup, my family was told that no one knew where my daughter was. For several terrifying minutes, we genuinely believed our child was missing. We were running around the venue in a panic, only to later find out someone had taken her to the bathroom. A simple conversation could have prevented that fear. The facility itself left much to be desired. The children's bathroom was often dirty, with an old step stool by the sink and oversized containers of dish soap that were difficult for young children to use independently. The recital also raised serious concerns about the overall quality of the program. After spending thousands of dollars on tuition, costumes, recital fees, and private lessons, I expected a higher standard of instruction and professionalism. Watching the adult performances only reinforced my concerns. If I had seen those performances before enrolling, I would have looked elsewhere for dance training. Parents trust dance studios with their children and their hard-earned money. They deserve proper supervision, communication, professionalism, and quality instruction. Unfortunately, after two years at Reveal, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend this studio to other families.

Her teacher ms. Alexis is awesome and my daughter loves her classes. They just had their recital and it was amazing!!! Last year I was a back stage mom but this year I decided to sit in the audience and watch, my daughter had two numbers. after the first one I was able to go and sit with her and wait for the second number. Ms. Geena is so nice and helpful and great with the kids. I can't say enough about this school the classes are by far more professional than any other school we have been to. Mrs. Lisa is also amazing always very attentive and very warm, the numbers that she choreographed were amazing. This review is for a private session with Christina who covers urban hip hop…read more A couple of things to note.. Call in if you're looking to attend class soon, but stick to email if your inquiry isn't urgent. It does take some time for them to get back to you because they have so many people to get back to. I reached out via email because I wanted to take a hip hop class for fun but lack dance experience. The best thing about a private session is that tutors cater their lessons to suit your level and pace. After further consultation about the type of dance style and music I was interested in, they helped me book an appointment. I also wanted to note that I was being rather difficult due to a change in my schedule and went back and forth about attending the class. I initially asked for a refund but ultimately decided to attend and the staff were really understanding about it. A class costs about $100 not including other add-ons (music video editing and filming). If you decide to schedule a private session you should have the following information prepared -location you want the session at (you're responsible for renting the studio space if you choose Manhattan) -dates and time preferences for the session (classes are based on instructor availability which typically means most weekends during the afternoon or evening) -style of dance and music suggestions (instructor ultimately decides on the routine and song but you can tell them what you're looking for) Once you're booked you'll get a confirmation email and payment instructions. Payments must be made at least 2 days in advance before your class. GETTING THERE: You can take the F to Parsons and hop on the Q65 bus if you don't want to take the LIRR. I believe the F, 7, N, and Q can also take you there but expect to do a couple of transfers if you don't live in the area. I'm hours away from the flushing location but I made the trip based on reviews. I'm not confident enough to perform in groups and decided a private session would be a good way to start. I heard how welcoming and friendly the instructors and students are at this place so decided to give it a shot. THE LESSON: I just finished my private lesson with Christina and I feel empowered. We danced to Ariana Grandes God is a Woman which was originally prepared for one of their intermediate classes. Her choreography really had me feelin myself. I have two left feet and at times got really nervous trying to be technically accurate but Christina was so patient with me and gave excellent tips on how to loosen up and enjoy dance. She broke down all the steps clearly, slowly and then we practiced on an off with music. I definitely want to continue practicing and come back for lessons again. Also, as a heads up be sure to ask if you can record the session because they typically only record when you're done with the entire choreography. For those of you who are beginners as well, live close to Manhattan, and want to try group classes she recommends Ness and Fernando (my spelling might be inaccurate) if you're looking to learn upbeat hip hop style dance. They teach on Wednesday and Friday. Overall, this class really helped boost my confidence and it was worth the cost and trip.

Here's the rundown: Studio: It is in the middle of 163rd Street, right off Northern Blvd. With public transportation and the Long Island Railroad just a half a block away. Street parking is available. The studio has a front waiting room for parents to wait, along with a coffee station. They also have an area for little ones to color or read to help keep younger siblings occupied during classes. The studio has (2) classrooms, front room is the larger room but both are equipped with hardwood floors and mirrors. Class Size: This is where this studio excels. Most of the classes only have between 6-10 kids. Classes are taught by experienced and professional dance teachers, most classes have an assistant teacher. All there teachers are trained in all types of dance so they are able to incorporate all types of movement. Dance Teachers: You cannot find a better group of Teachers anywhere. We have been to other dance studios and what I have noticed that the teacher rarely comes out of the classroom. There were classes that my daughters took and I had no idea who the teachers where. This studio has teachers that are constantly speaking to students and parents. My daughters love all the teachers, we never have a "oh no not that teacher" moment. The Director, Ms. Darlene is very approachable and makes the dance studio a second home for her dance students. Types of Dance: They offer classes from toddlers to adults. They have tap, ballet. jazz, hip hop, contemporary, acrobatics and pointe. There studio has actually produced 21 Rockettes, yep 21 girls took classes and then became famous New York City Rockettes. They offer elite dance levels for students. You can also purchase dance shoes and dance clothes directly at the studio. Recital: They offer a dance recital to show off all there students. It is at the end of June and held at Queensborough Community College. The director sets a theme and ties the whole show together. My entire family attends every year and they cannot believe how talented the kids are in the show. Every year the show wows them more. This dance studio is an amazing place that has an environment that is filled with love, affection, encouragement and lots of hard work. We instantly felt at home and have watched our daughters grow daily as dancers. You don't always find places like Kaye's Dance Studio. If you are thinking about dancing for your child, check this studio first. You surely won't be disappointed.
