On the phone I asked them how much for a wash & style for thick shoulder length hair. They said 45-50. I get there in person, they "change their minds" once I'm in the chair and charge me 60. Which is fine, as long as the service is good. It was not. They did not blow out my hair correctly (it looks frizzy and the entire underneath isn't done.) I decided to visit Perfect Cut 2 because of their website's enticing price point of $45 for a wash, cut, and style for long-length hair (see screenshot of website attached). However, upon completion of my haircut, Kim requested $60, and with a 25% tip, the total bill amounted to $75, far exceeding the expected $55 ($45 + $10 tip). Kim did a good job on my hair and was also very pleasant to talk to but I'm disheartened by the discrepancy between the advertised price and the final cost. The salon is clean and I definitely would recommend but would encourage to clarify the price upfront. read more

I went to the salon based on the good reviews here but I regretted badly!! I had my haircut in February. All I needed was a simple trimming and a little bit of layers. I thought how bad could it get!! But I was wrong!!! She shorted my hair at the top!! What?! She was telling me while she was cutting it and said this would help to give more volume for the top layer of my hair! Needed a trim and wash and decided to give this place a try since the place I usually go to was on the other side of town. This is a no frills or thrills place, perfect for me. I called ahead to see if they accepted walk ins on. Saturday and they said they did so I headed in. It's in a fairly empty strip mall, spacious salon, only one other customer was there getting her hair dyed. A few more customers came in while I was there . Kelly helped me out and she washed my hair and asked me what I wanted and I made sure to be thorough and let her know what I wanted. Kelly did a great job. She even had me stand up to measure my hair to make sure it was even, I don't think anyone's ever done that before in my life, not sure if it's proper hair technique but I have no complaints about extra detail. She gave me a nice blowout after too. In an out in maybe 30 ish minutes ? 40$ not including tip. I will be back for regular trims! read more
