Without our authorization, the shop added brake fluid, claiming the brake pedal went to the floor when they moved the truck into the bay. This was never discussed with us beforehand, nor were we given the opportunity to approve or decline the work. More troubling, within about a mile of leaving the shop, we experienced a complete brake failure. This created a dangerous situation that should never occur after a vehicle has just been serviced. When we contacted the owner, he claimed he had informed us there was a brake shop next door if we needed further service. That statement is simply not true--no such information was provided. While the original issue was fixed, the lack of communication, unauthorized work, and the safety risk we experienced afterward are unacceptable. We strongly recommend others proceed with caution and ensure all work is clearly authorized and explained before service is performed.

It had not been washed in probably a year and just need a good amount of attention. They did a great job of cleaning the car up!! It looks as good as it can for having 128k miles. After the Nissan dealership told my mom that she required a new steering rack, I called Fastlane, got a much cheaper quote, and authorized the $2300 worth of parts/labor work to be done. My mom brought her car in for the work, but upon a proper inspection, turns out the only work required was tightening the steering rack mounting bolts (which were almost certainly left loose by town center Nissan on a prior visit- stay away from there). Fastlane could have easily taken my $2300, but nope, they did the right thing and fixed my problem damn near for free. Seems unbelievable in this day and age. I will absolutely be returning for any future work. They also did great routine work on my BMW X6M. You can trust these guys.
