Solid food, nice neighborhood place. Stopped in on a trip to area and can't say I was disappointed. Food was very good. I decided on some crab cakes after a regular at the bar recommended them. Also had a and a couple of the local IPAs that were on tap. Beer selection was good. Bartenders were prompt and friendly. Coming by regularly to see if I needed another drink and to tell me about the establishment. I have to say the Place was packed for a post COVID night. Would definitely recommend. read more

I came back here to give this place a more fair chance. It was a bit of a long wait but wasn't an issue since we spent our wait time down the street at free will brewing. For an app we got the Bavarian pretzel which came with a mustard sauce and a cheese sauce. It was very good! The pretzel tasted like it was homemade and fresh. I also got the french onion soup and it wasn't overly salty and didn't have too much bread which was very good. For dinner I had the flat iron steak without mushrooms and it was cooked just how I requested. The blue cheese and caramelized onions were great on top of the streak. The combination gave a great sweet, salty, and savory bite. For sides I had the mashed potatoes which were light and fluffy. I also had the green beens and carrots. The carrots were cut thick and since Im not a huge fan of carrots I didn't enjoy them. The service was great as well. There was always someone who came by to clear our empty plates or re-fill our drinks. Overall it was a nice meal and Ill be back again soon. read more

The Perk is a must-try for anyone passing through Perkasie, Pennsylvania. The warm, hometown atmosphere compiled with great food at a great price brings crowds in every night. I have been going to The Perk for 20 years and it never fails to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. Whenever I am in town on a Tuesday, I make sure that I stop at The Perk for their "Cheesesteak Night": $2.99 for an authentic Philly cheesesteak (hey, it's only 40 minutes from Philly). Be sure to get there early though as The Perk is packed and the wait up to an hour at certain points on Cheesesteak night. The Perk offers other great dishes, including their crab cakes and burgers. The only reason I gave The Perk four stars instead of five is because the service is always a bit slow. Unfortunately, I think management gives servers too many tables that it is almost impossible for them to keep up. The Perk also has a full bar and happy hour specials. Went here last weekend for the first time with my husband and a couple friends and I loved it! We didn't make a reservation so we waited about 20 minutes for a table on a Sunday night - not bad. Our waitress was really sweet and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and the honey sriracha wings for starters to share - mozz sticks were good but the honey sriracha wings were to die for! I am really picky with my wings but these were the perfect combination of crispy and saucy and the flavor was just incredible. I could've eaten 3 plates full! Meals: I ordered the carousel burger and LOVED it. It was seriously delicious. My husband ordered the ribs and bourbon wings and he was very satisfied. Our 2 friends ordered the French onion soup, the coconut shrimp, and the chipotle chicken wrap and reported that everything was great. Only complaint amongst everyone was that the fries were not good - tasted like run of the mill frozen fries. I actually got the chips instead and enjoyed them! Will definitely return! read more

This place is outstanding. Some of the best grub I've had in years. The atmosphere is some sorta baseball dugout theme with ample seating and a decent size bar. Back to the food. The wings are the best around. The burger I had the other day I created myself and they made it to perfection. The lil lady had the salmon with a brown sugar demi glace. Arrived with reservations on time. Walked into hostess area and was immediately taken back to table. Party of 6. When we got to the table the person there --I think the owner--turned us around and said the table wasn't ready. We went back to the hostess area. About 5 minutes passed and they seated us. Table looked the same as before. Ordered our food and we were later asked if we needed anything by the person who brought our food out. Not our waitress who was great by the way. Claire. We asked the person who brought our food for salt and pepper and he said no we are all out of that. Well good service would be to bring some back from the kitchen in a little container maybe? You can't tell me you are all out of salt and pepper! We didn't argue it but vegetables are real hard to eat without salt. Their chips? Wow. Tasted like the bottom of a Dixie cup. One time I was waiting almost 30 minutes for an order I had called in 25 minutes before. The owner made a point of personally thanking me for my patience which was greatly appreciated. I think they need a better system for picking up take-out orders. They're a local treasure.
