Taste Wine Bar and Market is a self-serve wine bar that runs various specials throughout the week…read more It's located in The Works and offers free parking for 2 hours in the garage. Upon arrival, you check in and show your ID and present a credit card. You are then given a card that you use to purchase what wine you want. They have a wide variety from whites to rose to red to sweet wines. All the ones we tried were good. The prices are a bit high - about $4-5 for a small pour (my guess for red is about 2 oz), ~$9 for a medium pour, and ~$18 for a glass. It's a great concept though where you can try what you want but it can get pricey quick. They have different food options as well, including salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. We went on a Friday and they had live jazz outside which was great to listen to. It's a great spot for a date night or for a small group of friends. It can get crowded so it might not be as good for larger groups.

I absolutely love the concept of sampling different options--they let you choose between a taste, a half pour, or a full pour, and the prices are really reasonable. If you fall in love with a specific wine, they have a market side where you can buy a bottle to take home. They also have a food menu if you want to grab a bite while you sip. The staff is super friendly, and the whole vibe is perfect for a girls' night, a fun date night, or just exploring new wines.

Intimate, warmly lit, and thoughtfully designed, it invites you to settle in. The presence of books, the scale of the room, the soft energy all creates an atmosphere that feels cultivated. What stands out most is the curation. The wine list is exceptional without being overwhelming, and the option for half pours makes it especially enjoyable for a slower, more exploratory evening. It's clear that every selection has been chosen with care and a point of view. The food follows suit--refined, seasonal, and quietly confident. Nothing is overdone, yet everything feels considered and well-executed. It complements the experience rather than competing for attention. Service is knowledgeable, passionate and attentive. My waiter was incredibly knowledgebale and offered the perfect suggestions. Then, when I was ready to try a drink, the bartender noticed, came over, and suggested a half pour of champagne with the omelette I ordered. Lucian doesn't try to be everything. It knows exactly what it is and executes it at a very high level. It's a place to linger, to read, to have a glass of wine that turns into two. An experience that feels both personal and elevated.

We started with the polenta appetizer, silky and warming, the kind of simple dish that becomes memorable when it's done with real finesse. The black grouper followed as the star -- perfectly cooked, delicate, and rich without ever feeling heavy. Paired with the seasonal salad, bright and crisp, it created a beautiful balance of depth and freshness. The 2021 Tempranillo from Rioja, Spain was a standout. Smooth, structured, and aromatic, it elevated every dish without overpowering them -- one of those bottles you immediately want to remember. Dessert was the lemon tart, light, fragrant, and absolutely divine. A perfect finish. And because it's Lucian, we didn't leave without wandering the shelves -- and ended up purchasing The Silk Roads by Anna Ansari, the perfect companion to an already thoughtful evening. A refined, welcoming space that feeds you in every sense. We'd return without hesitation.

I can't remember all the cheeses and meats we got but they were all good! The mustard and pickles paired well with everything. We got a variety of tapas to share: the hamachi crudo, octopus, mushroom flatbread, and then paella as a main dish. I thought the tapas were all super delicious! The hamachi crudo was so flavorful, I couldn't believe it was just a raw piece of fish cause it tasted so flavorful. The octopus was SO tender but honestly the fennel that came along with it was the star of the show for me I had never had fennel before but wow it might be my new favorite vegetable? I gotta figure out how they cooked it because it was just so good. The mushroom flatbread was so good and we didn't even know it was gonna be a flatbread because all I saw was mushroom and truffles and i was like that's gonna be delicious! And I wasn't wrong, I LOVE truffle! The paella was also super delicious, it was very different from any paella I've had before and had a very distinct flavor to it. Idk how authentic it was but it sure was tasty! Finally for dessert we ended it with a blackberry basque cheesecake and churros. GUYS. The cheesecake was PHENOMENAL. It had a blackberry caramel that was one of the best dessert things I have ever had! My only complaint was I feel like there needed to be way more of the caramel! The cheesecake was also made of goat cheese, which is very unique and I think it made it a little bit pungent? But the blackberry caramel covered it up. Honestly I feel like I would put that caramel on any dessert and it would taste amazing! The churros were pretty average, the chocolate sauce was very rich and tasty but the actual churros weren't really anything I'm gonna remember in the future. The service was average, I think it could've been better but I think they were just really busy. The servers were all very nice! Overall, a great experience! Would recommend!

Avoid this restaurant for group events…read more We came to Iberian Pig Buckhead on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday dinner. The restaurant was practically empty, yet management insisted we meet a $1,000 minimum spend requirement. By the end of the meal, after multiple rounds of drinks and several courses of food, our group had spent around $400. When we spoke with the manager, Chris, and asked for some flexibility given that the restaurant was nearly vacant, he refused to budge. Instead, he suggested that we order more shots to reach the minimum. Apparently, encouraging a group to consume excessive amounts of alcohol was preferable to exercising basic common sense and customer service. What made the experience particularly frustrating was Chris's attitude. He repeatedly insisted that we were obligated to meet the minimum despite the fact that no one in our party had signed any contract or agreement. Rather than trying to find a fair solution, he seemed far more interested in squeezing additional money out of a birthday group than creating a positive guest experience. The irony is that this wasn't a packed Saturday night with limited seating. The restaurant was largely empty. There was no apparent business reason for such an inflexible approach--just poor judgment and even worse customer service. The food was fine, but management completely ruined the evening. There are too many great restaurants in Buckhead to spend your money somewhere that treats customers this way.

I ordered the trout and it was delicious. Crunchy skin and tender meat. Highly recommend getting it. The Brussels sprouts were good but undercooked. Unfortunately, not a place we'd return to. Came here for the first time on a Saturday at 6pm with my husband, and surprisingly, we were the only people in the restaurant until about the time we left. Service: 1 star There was plenty of staff, so it was confusing how things still felt so off. Drinks were wrong (I ordered prosecco and was brought white wine), and overall attentiveness just wasn't there. Another disappointment was at the end - my husband paid while I was in the restroom, and when I checked the receipt, I noticed I'd been charged $3 more for the wine. I calmly pointed it out, not even asking for a refund, just to flag it, and the waitress argued with me about it instead of simply acknowledging the mistake. Not a great way to end the night. Drinks: My prosecco mix-up aside, the drinks were just okay. My husband's gin & tonic was fine, but noticeably better ones can be found nearby. (Like our night cap at Yeppa after) Apps: 2 stars * shishito peppers were soggy and overly fried * Caesar salad was heavily dressed and tasted like something you'd get at a diner Entrees: 4 stars * chicken was excellent - well cooked & flavorful. Slaw on the side was a bit random * trout was slightly salty but still very good and cooked perfectly. Skin perfectly crispy & enjoyed the grilled green onion on top. I substituted grilled veggies for the slaw (due to dairy)

Without asking, the tatted up dude bartender (I'm horrible with names) went and asked if he could pop open another option. Owners agreed and boom, we were tasting this glorious option. Wifey loved it. My choice of drink at a wine bar was an old fashion. The other bartender (super chill chica) whipped up a great citrus tasting version. Loved it. Loved the design of this place. Super cool use of mirrors to make it feel more grand than the size (which was already very open). Very cool overall feel here. I can't say enough about the people and drink choices. We started with a lovely cheese board for the table, which was delicious and fresh. Paired with that we of course split a bottle of wine at the recommendation of the staff - we absolutely loved the pick! For the main I had the gnocchi, which was absolutely fantastic. I was so full but managed to scrape down the whole thing because of how light the gnocchi was and how delicious the sauce was. All 3 of us agreed this is the kind of place we want to come back over and over so we can try everything! 10/10 from me! Just note, parking wise, there's a tiny tiny lot, but I street parked around the corner. This area is notoriously a little harder for parking so just give yourself some extra time!

My wife and I enjoy wine tastings and visiting wineries, so we were excited to finally have a night…read moreto check out this local wine market. Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment.
