They managed to fill up both sides of an entire aisle with a large variety of brands and proteins for dogs. I've never seen a variety like this at other pet stores. I went to the snack aisle and was pleasantly surprised (again) by the variety of items that I haven't seen before. I walked away with dried rabbit ears, a huge pig ear, and wild caught dried Baltic fish. I will be back to try out more things for my pup. There's toys but a small variety. There's a reward program and I was able to sign up instantly by giving my name and number to the cashier.

The reason I really wanted to write this review is for their trainer, Michelle. I signed up my puppy for puppy class so that I could learn how to understand and best train my puppy. After 5 weeks, I have seen a huge improvement and can say that Michelle is an exceptional trainer. She's also one of his favorite people. Note that there's also free puppy play on Saturdays that you can sign up for which has been a great way to socialize my puppy with other pups. He loves going there. I recommend coming here. :)

I normally take him to PetSmart but a Petco employee the other day really sold me on the petco perks membership and how it could save me money on grooming. I am METICULOUS about brushing him and bathing him at home. He had not one mat or tangle in his muppet fur. The person who checked me in was NOT the person who actually groomed him so perhaps that's where the issue is. I was very specific about wanting his body hair a little shorter but to keep his face full and round like a puppy. Johanna ruined my dogs gorgeous hair. All my hard work of keeping him furry and tangle free BECAUSE I want a fluffy dog just for her to ruin it and shave him down. I even selected the longest fur example from the board they showed me. I picked up a VERY different dog than I dropped off and I will never be returning. Calling the manager tomorrow to discuss canceling my Petco perks membership ASAP and getting a refund. But a refund won't fix the damage they've done to my sweet little puppy. He's literally a baby at 6 months old. I can't even believe this happened. Please please don't take your dogs here.
