We decided to phone in an order on our way home. They were super friendly on the phone and made the pizza within 15 min. We did a split Hawaiian & kitchen sink. This is one of the best take & bake pizzas we've made. The toppings were all fresh and the crust got nice and crispy. I regret not taking photos, but we will be back. They are very generous with toppings, the cheese was a bit much for me (which is literally the only negative) BUT I just know next time to ask for less. Support these local businesses!! read more

Headed home through Deer Park. Called in order for taco pizza with thin crust. Informed it takes a few minutes longer to put together & that was fine since we a bit out from store! GREAT! Could be one if the best pies ever. Had the Veggie with added sausage on a thin crust. LOTS of veggies,sausage and cheese. And, it did not leave us thirsty like many chain pizza do. We got the taco pizza and it was by far the best taco pizza we have ever had. The crust was amazing and it tasted great, I really appreciate how the "after bake" toppings such as the lettuce and sour cream were packaged and organized for us. A lazy day brought us from Spokane to Deer Park. On a whim we stopped in and picked up KC Meat Lover's take out pizza - thinking we'd pop it in the oven after our drive back to Spokane. What a wonderful surprise! All four family members said they LOVED KC's sauce - which made the pizza great. We are frequent customers of Papa Murphy's in Spokane, and we rated KC's higher that Papa Murphy's - loved it, sauce was terrific, meat/cheese mix was great, too. Next time we're in Deer Park we'll be sure to swing by. My two teens gave the crust two solid thumbs up (total of four thumbs) "great crust" was the exact quote... (they're teenagers, no need to use too many words to convey a point.) Our oven is convection oven, and I liked that KC's instructions included cooking instructions for convection - that was helpful. On a side note, I thought the owner/operator was wonderfully friendly and helpful - it felt like she loved her work and was happy we were there - which for some reason seems to be a rare experience. What a nice lady, we enjoyed her well crafted KC Meat Lovers pizza. Pssst: KC's Take & Bake...come to Spokane, South Hill, we'd love to buy your pizza more often. read more

This is the best take and bake pizza I have had. I would recommend this to anyone who loves fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere.

Just had our first taste of KC's take and bake. Ordered the meat lovers and a cherry dessert pie. The pizza was great! Nice sauce, great meat and great flavor! The cherry pie was ok. The crust was great but the filling didn't have any cherry chunks in it and tasted a little bit like cough syrup :-/. The orange cream cheese frosting was AMAZING though. I ate the crust with the icing and it was great. The service was also very very good. Looked like a mom and daughter team. They were super friendly and very helpful. Ordered the Combo and Stuffed Cheesy Sticks to take to a friends for dinner. I was taking a chance as I'd never had a pizza from KC's..... Good choice, everyone loved it! First, all of the food tasted great. The service was great. However, the dough of the pizza we got was not right. It seemed like it was missing an ingredient or was way too thin or something. We brought the pizza home to cook it, and it stuck to the cardboard horribly. We couldn't pick up and hold our pizza slices because once we peeled it off the cardboard, so much of the crust was stuck to the card board that there wasn't even crust left on the slice except around the edges for the most part. So, we had to end up eating pizza with a fork :/ I was considering getting their pizza for an event soon because I love to support local, but this would've been a disaster if I had to serve 20 to 30 people pizza that you have to scoop up and eat with a fork.
