I know I will be back to this place in the near future, still smh wondering how I haven't been there before. When you walk up to the door you find plenty of seating inside and out, the tunes are cranking, all is clean and decor has a front porch vibe. They have a small "small bites" menu and grand selection of pies, cakes, cookies, coffees and other liquid treats. I enjoyed the sheperds pie off the small bites menu, it wasn't small in size, served piping hot and the taste was delicious. Before I left I took a slice of coconut creme pie too, that I look forward to enjoying later. The ppl working there were very friendly and welcoming to my large dog that sat outside with me while I ate. Yes I felt a little judged equivalent to the typical looks I get from the older crowd because of my hair cut but the owner quickly warmed up to me and we had great small talk. I look forward to checking out what the Sunday breakfast buffet is about, perfect atmosphere for it there. We will see what round two brings on the next trip. read more

The toted best Key Lime Pie is actually very good. The other food options and pie are not so good. The food is closer to what your grandmother would find left over in the fridge and heat it up in the microwave. The sandwiches come on a plate with a few potato chips. I also tried 2 other types of pie, a snickers pie was terrible, and I could have eaten a jar of peanut butter and felt better, I left it after only 3 bites. read more

Not sure what the food tastes like. I couldn't get to the food because of the rude worker that was behind the counter. Wanted to buy individual slices so we could try different pies. They had trays with slices already gone meaning people were buying them. When I asked, the lady was rude and told me they didn't have time to do individual slices. And as I was trying to ask about the ones in the cases, she just kept interrupting me and constantly repeating they didn't have time. I'm like why do you have the individual slices if you aren't selling them? Based on her attitude she's def not a happy person at Christmas, but really?????? So disappointed, was my first time going, we were excited to try the different options and had to leave, because of how nasty she was. I also can't say I was the only one she was rude to, everyone in the line she rudely asked whether they had a pick up order or what were they there for. Wow. Speechless. This is some of the best pie I have ever had. I'd drive 20 minutes, easily, out of the way to go back - it's worth it. Had both the French Silk (omg) and the Key Lime (super omg). My only regret was that we didn't buy more flavors to sample ;) I'll be back the next time we are in Clearwater. The Pie Factory is phenomenal. The Key Lime pie is to die for, plus the Apple pies are great also. I always get the shooters for my parties.

We stopped here for breakfast when we first moved into town and it was an epic fail. We had no idea it was a buffet until it was too late and calling it a buffet is generous. There was a pan of HORRIBLE powdered eggs, a pan of soggy bacon, some waffles that resemble what you find in a hotel lobby, and nothing to drink but water, orange juice, or coffee. Our total was over $20 and we left still hungry. The only good thing was that they let us have our dog on the patio. Maybe stick to pie when you visit this place? read more

Yum! I crave this place all the time. I wish it was closer to my house because if it was, I'd be there all the time! My favorite pies here are the Choco Oreo Bash, Peanut Butter Fudge Swirl, and Reese's Peanuttier Peanut Butter. They also have really good black and white cookies, cheesecake, and during the holidays, big slices of pumpkin pie. I know they also have a Sunday Breakfast Buffet from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and they have some sandwiches all the time but I've never had that. You can get a slice of almost all of the pies or take home a whole pie. The employees are very nice and the pies always taste fresh. One of my favorite things about pie is the graham cracker crust and believe me, these pies have thick, really tasty graham cracker crust. read more

Bought a deep dish key lime pie that was wonderful! It was for a birthday and the pie was so good, the birthday girl had to fight just to get herself a piece. We had to go back just to get her her own slice. I'd recommend their key lime pies to anyone who wants a slice of the Keys. read more

This is a great place to enjoy a slice of pie in a Florida style atmosphere. They do their best to make the place look very "islandy". A small place, yet there are tables outside, as well, to enjoy your chosen piece of scrumptious goodness. Being a pie lover I can appreciate this place holding true to the standards of a good pie. Excellent pies. Went there for the first time for brunch today and I would not recommend it at all. Luckily had a buy one get one coupon so it wasn't to bad with cost. Cold eggs bacon bland coffee with cheap creamer. Very small amount of choices. Waffles undercooked biscuits were hard as rocks. I have known Barbie for many years (ABWA). I mostly buy her pies for holidays & special occasions I am not a pie lover, but hers are great! Barbie is as "honest as the day is long!" Bought two pies for Thanksgiving. When paying, she said, don't worry about ID; I know you! Well the outstanding pie was Pumpkin (no sugar added). Was incredible. They also have fruit no sugar added pie. Their regular razzleberry is great as is their peach combo as well. There is a reason The Pie factory is still there. So, first time here and it does say The Pie Factory, but assumed the lunch would be good too. Not the case. Was there on a Week day around 12:30pm. Expected to see a big lunch crowd, but there were about 3-5 cars there including the staff. Should have been a sign. Lunch menu very limited and included chili...Not something I would expect for Florida in June. Ordered the broccoli soup and salad. They served the soup in a cappuccino cup... it literally said cappuccino. Watery / thin /very little broccoli. Desserts were good. Come for the pie but nothing else. Very slow service. read more

Not sure how the good reviews came to be but I was just here this week for the first time, based on the good reviews and was I ever disappointed. I got the spinach quiche - it was like rubber....you could hardly put a fork thru it and you certainly couldn't chew it. It was like chewing on an eraser. Seriously. I made the drive from Palm Harbor based on the reviews. Big mistake. I thought perhaps they could redeem themselves on a piece of pie....but don't waste the calories! A little underwhelmed for starters there should only be three things in a key lime pie filling yours has many many many things so that is definitely not the original recipe like you advertise or made from scratch...more like a factory, the peanut butter was way to sweet not enough peanut butter and why on earth would you top it with butter fingers imo reeses would have complimented it much better from a candy standpoint texture and taste wise. The crusts were all prettt good which makes a good pie, but the apple was wimpy it barely had any filling and the salted caramel was way to salty i threw half of it away. read more
