My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I went there for breakfast. Because our daughter won't stay seated, my wife and I usually take turns eating. I hung out with our daughter while my wife ordered and ate. Then, we switched. A quiche was brought to the table. I wasn't expecting it, so I asked the waitress to confirm it was for our table. She said, "Yes, it is." I assumed my wife had ordered it, so I ate it. I was about to leave when a manager came over to ask if I had ordered the item, to which I answered, "I don't know." She asked for the receipt, which I didn't have. At this point, three staff members were standing around questioning me about this quiche. One of them brought out a receipt with "154" written on it; our table was 54. They were speaking Spanish among themselves, so I wasn't sure what was happening, but they eventually walked away. I thought the matter was settled. I went outside, and my wife went back inside to wash her hands. The manager approached her to ask if she had ordered the quiche and requested the receipt, explaining that I had probably eaten an item I didn't pay for. My wife hadn't kept the receipt, so we couldn't confirm or deny it. Maybe the person at the counter added it to our order by mistake. Maybe the waitress brought it by mistake and confirmed it was ours by mistake. But ultimately, we didn't make the mistake. Don't harass customers over your own errors. I got the Stracciatella, which I do not think I have ever had in a vegan version. Got a couple of vegan/gf croissants for the morning: plain, and peanut butter and jelly. Everything is clearly marked as plant based, with gluten free noted when it is. They do serve a few animal based menu items, so pay attention to that. The worker was helpful and let us know it would be a bit for the croissants as he was putting out the gelato selections and serving gelato to customers. Ok by us as the croissants were ready when we'd finished our gelato. There are pictures on the wall describing the various gelato flavors, which is a nice touch. It's a small gelato store with a case you can sew into with limited seating, but it was welcoming enough for us to take a seat and enjoy our gelato. It was beautiful with a graham cracker crust and some kind of whipped topping. And it was soooo good! The gelato was fantastic. And it definitely serves more than 4 people. We all had enough and there was still nearly half of the cake left. I have to say that the price point is a little on the high side. But it is absolutely worth it for a special occasion.
