    Grilled salmon was so good!
    Kristin Frances K.

The food here is absolutely incredible. The grilled salmon is my personal favorite, but the pork dishes and spaghetti with meatballs are also recommended. If you're a garlic fan I highly suggest you order the garlic mashed potatoes as one of your sides - legit cloves of roasted garlic on top! It gets packed around dinner time so the earlier the better.

Our first time here! Super impressed with the menu and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Our waiter, Luis C was fun and quite personable! He kept our visit running super smooth. Our pre plan was burgers. Reading the menu was very challenging because we literally wanted to try everything! A great reason to keep coming back, and that we definitely will! Awesome and delicious. Thank you!!

Haven't been here over 40 years. Had a reservation for 6 people for 6:30. We were seated right away in a comfortable location where you were able to hear each other talk. We started off with drinks and appetizers. Drinks were on the mark and the appetizers were delicious. Had fried calamari, sticky chicken wings and meatballs. All three sides were very tasty and more than enough for all 6 of us. Disappointed that they had no more guacamole . Our waitress was very attentive to all our needs. She gave us space to review the menu and answered all our questions concerning our orders. When the food came out, everything was to our liking and hot. We had salads, burgers, pork chop, shrimp/chicken francaise and fajitas. All delicious Yes, we did have desserts and coffee. Cheese cake, gelato and coffee. A great experience and would go back

This is one of our favorite dinner places in the area. The baked goat cheese is the star of the show. Every time we come here, this HAS to be on our table!! The staff are always wonderful, and the environment is so welcoming. This is a wonderful restaurant to have local. Every dish we get here has exceeded our expectations for years.

Decent place. They have a huge parking lot and a good amount of tables inside as well as a patio for outside dining. The staff is efficient and this place doesn't seem to have a slow time. I came at 4 in the afternoon and it was still busy. It's great for a casual bite or a date night. The food is varied and seems to lean more toward a Spanish vibe. It doesn't knock your socks off but it's not disappointing either. A reliable place to stop by for a drink or some food. I have been here 3 times now and I keep coming back

All I can say this place is always packed, and there's only one reason. It's great food. Everything that comes out of that kitchen is just delicious. I'm a big fan of the skirt steak with mashed potatoes. Make sure to ask for a side of their homemade gravy. I guarantee you will love the experience.

My girlfriend and I came here for some dinner on a Saturday evening. It was crowded, but we only had to wait like 10 minutes for a table. Once seated, we ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp as our appetizer. This was delicious. They gave you so much shrimp. And they were high quality shrimp as well. I absolutely loved the sauce they used for these shrimp. This was so good. A must order. After chatting for a bit, we then ordered our meals. We went with a tavern burger and a skirt streak meal. Once the meals came out, we were speechless. Everything looked so good. After trying a few bites of each, we loved our meal selections. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium. It was so juicy and flavorful. I didnt even need to add ketchup. One of the best burgers I ever had. The skirt steak was so tender and delicious as well. It was outstanding. Loved the sauce it came with too. And the fries were really good here too. Overall, everything was amazing and delicious. Highly recommended. I will be back to have some more delicious meals here.

This place is really busy, reservations are for 6 or more. Saturday night party of 4 the wait was about 1hr. Little longer than I thought but when our turn came we were able to find out why. Service was outstanding, our waiter was the best. Food was excellent. Appetizers were expertly prepared, so many choices. We all shared everything that hit the table and it was all delicious. The paella was perfect, plenty of ingredients and not to much rice. The wagu beef was very tender and delicious. The porterhouse pork chop was another good one. Would recommend any of these. Desert was also spot on along with the cocktails during our dinner. This place is worth the visit.

    Lifechanging Mac n cheese

If there were 6 stars, I'd give them. Let me tell you about the lifechanging experience I had with the macaroni and cheese here last night. This is how it happened. I glanced over and saw a kid next to me with a bubbling bowl of golden, cheesy heaven. I leaned over like a nosy neighbor and asked my waiter, "What did THAT KID get?" Mac n cheese, he says. Well, I ordered it. Best decision of my entire adult life. When the waiter brought it out, it was like he was presenting the Holy Grail. Creamy, gooey, perfectly cheesy. Im convinced angels were harmonizing in the background. I thought I had reached peak happiness, but then the waiter casually strolls back over and sets down ANOTHER bowl in front of me. Talk about service! And well, at that point, I knew I'd never look at regular mac & cheese the same way again. This is, without exaggeration, the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had in my life. I am now a better person because of it. Pine Tavern, you've ruined all other mac & cheese for me and I'm not even mad about it.

Repeat visit for consistently great lunch. For appetizer I got the perfectly grilled octopus with buttery garlicky bread. I love the salad menu and this time got the salmon with balsamic dressing salad. The mango sangria was refreshing and not overly sweet. Service is always attentive. The inside is always bright. If you remember the old pine tavern forget it. This new pine tavern is my favorite lunch spot.

Grilled octopus appetizer. Comes with garlic bread.

Went there today for lunch with my better half. We shared the grilled octopus appetizer which we've had before. It comes to the table still sizzling in a cast iron pan. Sprinkling fresh lemon juice on it makes it sizzle more and the smoke carries the amazing smell throughout the near vicinity. Deliciously charred, tender and very flavorful. Not chewy at all. My wife had the salmon and goat cheese salad. I had the apricot arugula salad with grilled chicken and an apricot dressing. Both salads were unique and very tasty. Would order all items again.

    E B.

Have you ever found a screw in your food before? That's what I got in my taco bowl on 7/10/25 during a lunch here. Biting into my salad I thought maybe it was a chicken bone boy was everyone at the table surprised when I spit out a screw! Manager showed no concern other than hmmmm...i wonder how that got there. We will try and find out how that got there. Never once asked if I was ok. We all sent our food back and they didnt even try and charge us. The lack of concern and no apologies are you kidding me???

We sat at the chef's table and had a limited 4 course selection to choose from. It began with a wonderful tuna crudo that was light and almost summery with the strawberries and cucumbers that surprisingly complimented the incredibly flavorful tuna. The spinach gnudi was a small salad that also had a number of components I would have never dreamed to combine, but they all paired nicely with each other. The main course was a lamb that was perfectly cooked, and though I didn't care for the accompaniment of figs, the rest of the dish more than made up for it. To finish off, we ended with asian pear crisp. You don't often see Asian pears incorporated into cooking. However, Asian pears actually being one of my favorite fruits this was welcome surprise and fantastic way to end the evening. Or so it would be, had they not brought out an additional crem bruele for my birthday, which was also excellent. I very very much enjoyed my meal here and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Sitting at the chef's table is also a special treat as I thoroughly enjoyed watching that process that is traditionally kept behind closed doors. I will definitely be making a return trip whether it's for new menu offerings or to try one of their cooking classes.

Overall an expensive but worthwhile experience, great for celebrating special occasions.

A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way…read more Tonight, I experienced one of those small acts of kindness that stays with you. I went through the drive-thru planning to use a $100 gift card I had received from a fundraising night at my daughter's school. For some reason, the gift card wouldn't work, so the worker called the manager over to help. I didn't get her name, but I'm sure Shake Shack corporate can identify the manager who was working tonight, Friday, August 21st around 11 PM. She explained that the gift card was a donation gift card and had expired. I honestly thought that was the end of it. But instead of simply turning me away, she told me she would comp one of my meals--and then, to my complete surprise, she went back and brought me a brand-new $100 gift card. I'm not going to lie, I'm tearing up as I write this. It wasn't just about the $100. It was about her kindness. She didn't have to do any of that. She could have simply said, "I'm sorry, it's expired." But she chose compassion. She chose to help. In a world that can sometimes feel so harsh, tonight she reminded me that there is still so much goodness and kindness in people. To the beautiful manager working at Shake Shack tonight--thank you. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant makes a great first impression. The décor is beautiful and upscale, but still inviting and there are plenty of great spots for social media pictures. We started with a few lighter appetizers, but they ended up being more than enough. We shared three sets of tacos: the fish, pork, and short rib. Each order comes with two tacos, which makes them perfect for sharing and trying different flavors. The esquites were also really tasty and all paired very well. My daughter had a cheese quesadilla, which she absolutely loved. For drinks, I went with an Old Fashioned (my go to classic) while my wife ordered the "Clock It" mocktail. Both were solid choices. I also appreciated that they brought out boxed water for my daughter, which was a nice touch. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. There's also a fairly large bar right at the entrance, so you don't necessarily have to come here for a full meal. I could easily see Mezcal being a great date-night spot or a place to grab drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. There's also plenty of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Next time, I want to try some of the main dishes. It's a higher-end restaurant, so expect the prices to reflect that, but between the food, atmosphere, service, and presentation, I thought it was well worth the experience.
