First time there, was a little lost for the busiest Saturday night the two young hosts were super accommodative but the highlight was the bartender Ozzie! He made an absolute refreshing drinks while he watches all the guests and very attentive to all their needs,me included. What a wonderful experience to enjoyed the soccer's games at the bar and be able to watch the sunset over the lake at the outside patio. This restaurant has it all.

Nice relaxed, clean and friendly service restaurant. Steak was cooked as requested, butter was flavorful, mashed potatoes were delicious and vegetables were not soggy. For my own personal liking, I would have preferred the shrimp fried a little bit more. I would return for another date dinner.

My friend found Sunsets on Yelp and it really stood out to us, so we decided to try! Very happy with how everything went :) Staff were so pleasant, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we stepped in! Our hostess was wearing a very cute Christmas hat, and she said she wanted to spread the holiday spirit! Our waitress was the sweetest ever; she was very helpful with our orders and even laughed at one of our funny interactions haha Everything tasted perfect! We shared the Kalua pork bowl and the Beachfire burger. The pork was extremely soft and tender, the coconut rice was fragrant, and the coleslaw was refreshing. The beef patty was cooked exactly to our liking, and my friend devoured the macaroni salad he chose as the side. The non-alcoholic Thai iced teas were delicious and innovative, we've never tried it with orange slices but it works so well! We did notice the drinks were about 80% ice though... I met the nicest, happiest woman in the restroom, and she recommended the sticky wings!! And the table next to us kept ordering more food (seriously, the menu was amazing) which they laughed about with their waiter LOL The decor was festive and inviting. They have touch-activated ambient mood lamps on each table and a fireplace playing on a screen (or was it real?) Highly recommend!

I Only got an appetizer bc we wanted to try as many places as possible while visiting for a long weekend. Decided on the pupu platter and was so satisfied I wanted to stay and get more! The platter came with- bacon wrapped dates, wings, shrimp, and crab Rangoon. Everthing was fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the shrimp topped with a mango sauce that was to die for, l I wished I asked for the recipe. Everyone works together with attentive professional and friendly service. I loved the beachy theme and the decor. If you're looking for a place to eat this is a MUST

Great service and a yummy menu selection...looks authentic. Live entertainment in the weekends. Love the views of the yacht club and Lake Arrowhead. Ambience is everything here. If you want a funkier vibe, then check out their other spot right next door...Tiki Republic. (That one is my fave)

This place is relatively new to the village so had to give it a try. So glad we did. Went with some old friends for dinner on a Monday night. It was a slow, wintery day, and we were greeted with a warm welcome and immediately seated at a window with a lovely view of the lake. Decor is fun, with a slightly kitschy island vibe. We started with some cocktails, which were strong and tasty. For mains, I got the ribeye, cooked a perfect medium, as I requested. Wife got the Mahi Mahi tacos. Everything was delicious, and our server was so funny and friendly. Sorry, can't remember his name. Photos of mains attached to this review. We will be back!

The outdoor view here is absolutely amazing. It makes for such a great lunch spot, and it would be perfect for a date too. The burgers, tacos, and steak were all delicious!

Naum was super friendly and helpful at the bar, attending to our every need. All I can say about his hand crafted margaritas is "wow". The watermelon margarita has a little kick prompting you to lick your lips. I had the dole whip with a double dose of rum. Boy does that do the job on a hot day. We split the Hawaiian burger and fries. The fries could have been a little crisper but the burger was tasty, bursting with juices.. As we were setting, we had a chance to meet Marina, one of the owners. She too was extremely friendly and gave great perspective on Arrowhead, the restaurant, and future plans as well as pink pineapples. They kindly gave me a piece to try, which was less sour and a bit sweeter than a traditional pineapple. Overall, highly recommend and will return. By the way, there is a secret hallway attached to get to the other Tiki bar. Yes, they are related.

The tacos were good. The drinks were good. The servers were pleasant. The vibe is very fun and tropical. The service was very slow though. They told us it would be about an hour for food but that was after we had already been sat after waiting for 15 minutes for a table.

They were busy for lunch/dinner time the day after July 4 and communicated to us our food would take awhile due to short staffing. They were friendly and didn't appear too stressed with us despite the issue. The ambiance is pleasant with a tropical touch. We sat outside and it was hot! Definitely try to sit inside during summer time if you can. Their outdoor umbrellas don't block the sun that well. The food was decent. My fries were a little uncooked and my burger was lacking a little flavor. Beachfire Burger: 3.5/5 Huli Huli Chicken: 4/5 Grilled Mahi Mahi: 3.5/5 (Mahi Mahi was a little bland) Mushroom Ravioli: 4/5 Piña Colada: 4/5 Watermelon Chili Margarita: 4/5

Dined here last year and had a pleasant time so decided to come back for our last night stay. Inside was festive with holiday decor. We were greeted quickly and sat right away. Nice options on the food and drinks menu. Daughter selected the salmon, hubby chose the pork bowl and I shared a burger with my son. Drinks came out quick as well as the food. Burger was good and juicy. Had a tasting of daughter's and hubs plate which I found both okay. My husband's coconut rice was very moist and strong coconut tasting. I prefer it a little more drier. Reminded me of a coconut sticky rice dessert. My daughter liked her salmon but I thought it was okay. Nothing really stood out. It's definitely nice for the area and can see tourists enjoying dining here. The staff was very friendly which contributed to our nice dinning experience.

    Shrimp tacos were raw

Got the coconut shrimp and the NY steak per the waiter's recommendation and it was probably the worst meal I've ever had. The shrimp was completely raw inside a perfectly fried outer covering, which was a first. The steak tasted like it was taken straight from the freezer and cooked as fast as possible. It was served with mashed potatoes, but tasted like nothing was added to it (no milk, butter, seasoning, etc). My husband got the shrimp tacos and even those shrimp were not properly cooked either. There was no redeeming part of this meal whatsoever. What made it worse was that we waited over an hour to be seated and this meal was not cheap at all. Would not recommend at all!

Very small restaurant so highly recommend getting a reservation. We tried many items from the menu. I really liked the steak tartare which tasted of truffle and loved that they had different things to add on top as well. It was really good steak and not at all chewy. The soup du jour was a creamy caramelized onion soup which was decadent and so good. For my entree I got the seafood pot which I liked but wasn't obsessed with. The curry was very thin and the seafood felt a bit overcooked for me. But the taste was good, just wish the curry was a thicker paste than a liquid soup texture. My family all loved their entrees and said the quality of their various steak dishes was remarkable. The waitress was so kind as well. Would love to come back next time I'm in town!

I started my meal with a craft beer and a half order of the Grilled Caesar. I also was fortunate to have the opportunity to try the steak Tartare. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and well-crafted with fresh ingredients, and it made for an overall great meal. Pretty view of the hills, trees, hummingbirds and butterflies around. It's lovely. The best part of this place is the ambiance, the beautiful views and spacious outside can't be beat. Unfortunately, if it's a rainy weekend, this place will be closed because because all of the seating is pretty much outside. But when it's nice outside, and in SoCal, it's usually nice outside, this place is wonderful. I was really happy watching all the butterflies flitting about. Service is also really nice. Just go up to the bar and put in your order, they'll get to it asap. There's water around for you to grab if you're thirsty. But if you want more drinks, just go back up to the bar. My friend actually got sick on my last visit here (not alcohol related - health issues) and the bartender was so nice to us and understanding - we paid up and left right away when it happened. Def made me feel welcome to come back again. It was something not in anyone's control, and she knew that and understood it, and was really amazing. The minus star I give is honestly because the wine is a bit meh (I got a bottle of the sparkling wine). One, it's just not the best taste wise even when you add some orange juice, but the biggest thing is it's always warm when they hand it to you. I would raise it this star if they just served it actually cold - doesn't need to be the best wine, just cold would be nice. I might bring some ice in a pack with me next time actually lol. If it was cold, I think it would be way better. I haven't tried the pizza place here, but it's on my list for the next time I come up here. Overall, loved the ambiance and service. And that will always make me come back.

I haven't had the pastries yet but they look good, especially the donuts, and I'm excited to come back and taste them. Today I had the breakfast burrito, the cashier was very helpful and accommodating of some recent dietary restrictions I have developed, and she made me a great burrito! I swapped out the bacon for avocado (not normal for me, but like I said, dietary restrictions) and it was just as good as with bacon! My burrito has avocado, eggs, hash browns and tomatoes, and it was exactly what I needed. Good to note that the only bread option is sourdough, however, it is very tasty homemade and fresh sourdough, which is quite the treat. Unfortunately, not for me today, but I have enjoyed it in the past. I usually get to go and drive up the hill to picnic with a view, but I'm looking forward to eating in one day. That atmosphere is very cozy and calm, both the inside and the patio are nice. Speaking of atmosphere, I was happy to see many pride and pro LGBTQ flags in the restaurant, helping foster a welcoming environment for all. TLDR - 1. Good food , good coffee , very fair prices. Mostly serving sandwiches, pastries, coffee. 2. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. 3. Big wine selection. 4. Cozy interior or nice patio for Al fresco dining.
