Walked in on a Saturday night around 11 pm and it was fairly busy. We sat ourselves in a big booth in the back and our waitress, Meg, served us immediately. She was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was decently good. The spice bag was delicious but the curry sauce was ok, a little grainy and cold. The bread pudding was my favorite - so warm, delicious, and the ice cream paired well with it. Overall, would come again, especially to try the breakfast!

Since Stags opened this pub is a staple for me and my friends to go to for drinks! I've gone for brunch and dinner and also their specials and everything is so delicious. Service has always been great and from sitting at the tables to being at the bar, everyone is so nice. We just went last night and got the spice bag and it's literally a must have when having a couple drinks

My family and I decided to try out this Irish pub after a day of apple picking in Oak Glen. We parked in the big lot on Stuart Ave. and walked over--it was very close by and easy to find. We arrived a few minutes before their dinner service started, and were able to order pretty quickly. I ordered the shepherd's pie, which was decent. It had some ground beef and veggies (I think real shepherd's pie has lamb? Not sure though) with the day's veggies, which happened to be Brussels sprouts. It was definitely pretty rich, and I didn't finish all of the meat filling (mashed potatoes on top were great though). My mom and husband both ordered the beef stout stew. They found it to be very rich, and the meat was very tender. Thicker than they had expected (they were expecting it to be soupier, but to be fair, we don't know much about Irish food). The bread roll accompanying the stew was excellent. Service was decent and prices were fair for the food portions.

I have been coming here for the past 6 months and it has become a staple. The service is immaculate, the whiskey list is good but could be better but it does the job. The Guinness is phenomenal. This is an absolute gem of a pub! The people, the vibe, the atmosphere; absolutely stunning.

My mom and I stopped in for lunch. She'd been once before and she recommended that we go. The inside has a great pub feel, with dark wood and brick lining the walls, with plenty of logos, photos, memorabilia and such on the walls. The string lights and windows balance out the darker shades to make the space feel cozy-comfortable. It's such a great vibe! There's plenty of high top seating, along with bench & stool seating with round tables, even a couple snugs for groups. Our server was friendly, informative, and gave attentive service. My mom ordered the fish and chips and I the shepherd's pie. Her fish was crispy and fresh, while my pie was hearty and rich. The minced meat was in a tomato based sauce, with plenty of flavor. The mash on top had crispy bits of garlicky goodness, and the little squashes were cooked perfectly. I can definitely see coming back again with my mom, who lives a good fish and chips, or with my husband on an evening when we're looking for a beverage in Redlands.

Stopped by The Three Stags in downtown Redlands to cool off and have a couple drinks at the bar, and this place did not disappoint. It was blistering hot outside, but inside it was nice and cool with great music and a really good atmosphere. From what I could see, they have a traditional Irish pub setup with authentic Irish beers on draft, which is something you don't see very often out here in the Inland Empire. The staff was friendly, the food smelled great, and the whole place had a welcoming vibe. Definitely a good spot to come in, relax, and enjoy a drink. I'll be back.

Came here to have a little reunion with some old friends from work and was so amazed by the food and service here. Everything is so carefully crafted and delicious. The staff here is very friendly and they are on it!! I tipped 20% because they were just so awesome. I love the old pub feel to this place. You can just walk in from the cold and feel warmed up just by atmosphere (a shot of whiskey helps). 15/10 experience. Also one of the only bars that has great parking close to it where you don't have to park at the Redlands Mall.

No phone orders or Uber eats. But in person to go available on St. Paddys

Delicious Irish food! Came here during the St. Paddy's weekend of celebration. Husband and I love to celebrate it since it's both of our half birthdays lol! He's German but could be Irish....lmao. We didn't know they only served the corned beef and cabbage after 2:30 pm on the weekend. But came back on actual St Paddy's day on Monday for corned beef being served all day starting at 9 am. I think it would've been better if they served it all weekend leading up to Monday..... Anyway, food tasted great! Only gripes were, we waited about 45 mins to an hour by the time we sat down, ordered and waited for the food to come out. Also, it gets super packed. Not much seating. Wish they had more seats and tables outside but it's mostly ledges for drinking. Cute interior and decorations. Very Irish pub themed. They only had brunch offerings on Sunday 12 pm. We got the Full Irish breakfast and Boxy benedict. Delicious eggs, sausages, rashers (Irish bacon), and the hollandaise sauce was perfection. I don't normally care for breakfast potatoes but man were these good! Even better was the Irish creme chocolate cheesecake! I'm normally lactose intolerant. But this didn't upset the tums! It was decadent but not overly sweet. Perfect and not your normal cheesecake, it was more mousse-like, different and yum! The next day ordered the corned beef and cabbage slaw SANDWICH and the special Banger corn dog. OMG so so good! Too bad they only served these items on St Paddys Monday I believe. No phone orders were taken unfortunately. Ordered to go. Each came with delish fries (Irish potatoes?!), Corn dog was $10 and sandwich was $18 which were pretty good pricing. Will be back if we are craving some good Irish eats!

Great New Irish pub in town.

Best restaurant in Redlands!!! Alisha is the best of all the other best bartenders and servers at the 3 Stags. Always friendly, helpful, so willing to pour a woman a great glass of red wine when it is so needed. I am grateful this great pub is literally around the corner from where I work. Great food, great everything!!

This was the perfect Irish night: cool and drizzly. So it was off to Three Stags ...... We arrived about 5:30 ish on a weekday night and we had our choice of tables. Staff was very helpful and efficient. There was a single musician playing, but from our seats he wasn't too loud - he seemed to be a favorite with the patrons. Of course, we started with a draft Guinness (see pic, the malt vinegar was for another island favorite). The dark roastiness hit the spot on this cool/drizzly evening. We do like a hearty salad, and the Farro and Summer Squash salad hit the spot. When you take a look at my pic, you'll see all the items in the salad. This gave it chew, texture and flavor. The side of dressing was lemony, but not too tart or over-powering: it added freshness. We shared their cod Fish and Chips. As you can see pictured, are the 3 pieces of deep fried fish. This has a light tempura type batter: the batter still soaked up the amply applied malt vinegar. The fish was still light and flaky, not oily. The 3 pieces were filling enough. The french fries were crunchy but fairly standard. We also shared the Dublin Coddle Soup, see my pic. The featured single sausage was pretty good: meaty, fennel flavored and retained the nicely caramelized flavor from being seared (again see my pic). The root veggies were still firm. And the broth was a good veggie soup.

We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

It's a perfect place for a date or a night out with friends or family. The focal point of the main dining room is the bar, which faces the restaurant's entrance. Meticulously designed with a nostalgic feel, the bar features blonde wood shelves holding hundreds of vinyl records, carefully curated design objects, and a DJ booth neatly tucked into a corner next to the bar. The beer taps are elegantly minimalist, and every detail in the bar--for example, the old-fashioned glass syrup bottles--seems planned to give a nod to history (specifically the late 19th century, when Redlands was founded). The main dining room offers plenty of comfortable seating choices, including a long bar along the center of the room. The patio is spacious and well kept. All of the spaces inside and out have music piped in from the bar. There are two restrooms just off the patio, and these are well-maintained. On busy nights, patrons can enjoy a drink in a standing bar area just off the patio. I love that the Overland provides a choice of setting depending on the kind of night you're planning. A romantic date? Get a reservation to sit inside, and it feels intimate. Just hanging out? The bar is fun as the mixologists make excellent drinks and friendly conversation. Sitting at the bar after 7 PM, you can watch the DJs spin the platters. If you have a larger group or just like to eat alfresco, the patio is perfect. The menu offers a really nice variety of drinks, including the pricier craft cocktails, more classic, moderately priced beverages, nonalcoholic drinks, and all sorts of beer and wine. The food menu is solid, with plenty of appetizers, salads, entrées, and a dessert. The real star is the tacos! These are very moderately priced at seven dollars apiece, and all three varieties are delicious! There is a potato taco, a beef taco, and pork chili Verde taco. I highly recommend these! The green salsa they provide is extremely mild, but they do have a variety of hot sauces on hand. It's worth mentioning that even a humble plate of tacos is served on nice ceramic dishes, along with good flatware and napkins. The espresso martini cheesecake is creamy and delicious, and the portion is really generous. The staff seem to enjoy working at the Overland. The servers work hard to make sure your order is to your liking, and food comes out pretty fast. There's a good sense of teamwork among them. The staff is also accommodating about seating or any special requests. We've been there on a busy Friday night, and on a Sunday evening and late night. The Overland is always at least moderately busy, so reservations are strongly recommended. The city of Redlands should be very proud of this establishment. Go and have fun!

We made reservations for four, and as soon as we arrived, we were seated right away, which was a great start. Unfortunately, I noticed a few cleanliness issues almost immediately. The tables were pretty dusty, and the glass water cups we were given still had food residue on them. One even had what looked like a lipstick mark on the rim. I let our waitress know, and she apologized and quickly brought us new glasses. Those were still dirty as well, with (food residue) so I asked if she could replace them again. After the third attempt, the glasses finally came out spotless. It seemed like there may have been an issue with the dishwasher filter?, but I really appreciated how kind and apologetic our waitress was throughout the entire situation. The drinks were good overall. I ordered a couple of nonalcoholic drinks, and they were refreshing and flavorful. We also tried the cheese fries and the fried onion, and both were really tasty. Overall, I'd give this place a 6/10. The rough start with the cleanliness definitely affected the experience, but the service helped make up for it. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making things right, and that went a long way. I absolutely loved the vibe and the music, and I think this place has a lot of potential. I'd definitely be willing to give it another try because I think it could be a great spot for a fun night out.
