Went for lunch, great food. Started with the sampler- shishito peppers, conch fritters, and cheese curds. Yum. Had the pink blt and it was so big and delicious. It comes with a side of berries and the orange ones were amazing. Also got the Turkey melt, a sangria, and beer and it was all really good. Sat outside, very pretty, good vibes. Adorable spot! Pulled the boat up to the dock and walked around the corner to find this lovely spot...even the napkins are pink! Great cocktails...we had the pretty in pink and the special pink mojito. The gazpacho is a unique spin...with watermelon, strawberries, and mint along with the more traditional tomato and basil. I also enjoyed their Pink "BLT" with smoked Gouda and mozzarella...and a delicious basil-jalapeño mayo spread on the toasted bread. So good I'm going to try to replicate it at home! read more

Ambiance is a sports bar feel with flat screen televisions hanging on the corners. I think they are trying to be "high-end" fine dining. They may play it off as if it is a high end restaurant, but don't be fooled. It's a glorified overpriced Applebees. read more

We decided to try this place on Boca for a date lunch. The building is from the 50s, so cool vibe. The menu offers something for everyone but the pricing is definitely Boca worthy. We came for a day to this beautiful town and found this place for a late lunch, beautiful setting, great atmosphere, there was not a big selection on the menu but they had good stuff. Gazpacho soup wasn't what I was expecting but it was delicious, the apple and beets salad was great and the fish tacos amazing. Alexandra was our server, she was professional, nice and very knowledgeable. Our drinks were great as well. I didn't give it five stars because even though the bathroom had l'occitane soup and hand cream and very nice "pink elephant" paper towels, (a very nice touch) it was disgusting, they needed someone checking at least every hour to keep it pristine just like their presentation on food and service. read more

**lactose free review** This place was amazing. The detail with everything from decor to food as well as the politeness of the staff. We really enjoyed this. After ordering drinks I asked about dairy in my dish and the waitress was extremely polite and took my allergy seriously. She made sure the meal I was interested in was dairy free by asking the chef as well as giving me a list of others which were dairy/lactose free. The check also listed the items ordered by me which had the dairy allergy. This was the first time I've seen that taken so seriously. Much appreciated. I ordered the "Yah Mon" Jamaican BBQ. Think of it as three pieces of lamb ribs as well as three chicken cuts that are all seasoned greatly on a bed of rice seasoned with curry. The plantain was dried and crispy with sugar, cinnamon, chili powder and salt. The flavors in every single thing were distinct and abundant. For drinks I had a craft beer but then I had a sip of my wife's spicy elephant and had to get one myself. They're pricy but worth the try at $14. The rim is juiced with jalapeno and salt, garnished with jalapenos, a lime and this adorable plastic pink elephant. There is pureed watermelon in it too which makes this like a watermelon margarita. The drink IS spicy but just the right amount to make it drinkable. I was impressed. I highly recommend. Will be going back. read more

The Pink Elephant is one of the classier seafood restaurants in Boca Grande. The restaurant is adorned with pink umbrellas, staff in pink outfits, and even a specialty pink mojito (by comparison, there was relatively little elephant fanfare!). Staff were all very friendly and professional. The food was all elegant and tasteful. The crispy Thai shrimp were a hit. The truffle fries weren't my fave, but others in the group enjoyed them. For entrees, the smoked shrimp--poblano crab was very good, and others in the group enjoyed the red snapper. The two-year-old didn't last long enough into the meal to try his grilled cheese, but he scarfed down the mashed potatoes. While we were dining, the chef came over and wanted to get our feedback on a new menu item. He brought us a couple chilled soups which we advised on, which was a really fun and cool experience! Not sure how common this is, but it made the meal feel more special. We had two incorrect items delivered by mistake, which could have been partially our fault miscommunicating. But the staff was gracious and fixed the errors. Prices are high, as you're paying island fares. Definitely not an everyday occasion, at least on my budget. Overall a fun meal, though--check it out if you want a nicer night out with good food. read more

I went here, and the key lime pie is the best I've ever had. I don't remember the name of it, but I was the first person to try the chocolate shake thing in a wine glass. I thought everything there was great, and though the price of the food drinks and desserts are high, it is worth the price. It's located in a beautiful area, large homes, beautiful inn, golf course as well as the Marina. Restaurant has a nice calm vibe to it. We went for a day trip to Boca Grande. Read all the great reviews about this restaurant. When we arrived it was 1.5 hr wait. We decided to check out the area and maybe find another place to have lunch. Well other place was a disaster. We went back to pink elephant and oh boy we were right to wait to eat there. Everything was just awesome. Very attentive and knowledgeable server Tyler checking on us all the time. Food was amazing and I wish I could try more things but the fish tacos were huge and delicious. My family and I took a day trip to Boca Grande and I'm SO happy we tried the Pink Elephant - I'm sure there are many other wonderful places to eat on Gasparilla Island, but this restaurant is worth visiting. We had (very fresh) guacamole as an appetizer and I ordered the half soup (Gazpacho) half sandwich (turkey melt) for my meal! Everyone I was with was so happy with what they ordered and I'll definitely be back soon. I have to give a shout to the hostess, too.
