A bartender that's a 60 year old man talking how he use to play for the Jackson 5, maybe you should retire as a bartender and find that passion again. That man had us waiting for 30 mins to get us some drinks and when I tried to ask him for assistance, he completely ignored me. Other than that, I would NEVER step in that establishment again. But the bar, The Vault, is where the true vibes are at. Maybe he needs to take some advice from them of how to be a bartender. read more

My partner sees a doctor in Loma Linda every three months, and on our last visit, we found this place and had a great time. Last night, we dropped by again. We sat at the bar for 10 to 15 minutes, while the bartender totally ignored us. Instead, she hung out at the other end of the bar sharing pictures from her cell phone with patrons at that end. Please read this review not just the star rating. This is a small and well used bar. This isn't a fancy bar with $20 drinks. It's a friendly atmosphere, cheap drinks, well used, horrible bathrooms and even the occasional unhoused person will come in. But you will meet amazing people and get to really know the town and you may even make a new friend. Been years since I lived in Redlands and I just love hitting the staple local "dive bar." Best prices Great drinks (you will never have to order a double) Nicest bartenders Crowd is super diverse and it works well Three pool tables Punching power game read more

They will try to short change you. Theres an OLDER lady who will try to short change you. Make sure you're double checking your money. Gave her a $20 and tried to tell me I gave her a $10. Had her recount her register and she gave me my money back read more

I'm a regular here and all I do is come here to play pool and have a few drinks. a guy started drama with me over something that happened outside the bar and the older lady with long red hair banned me for 30days. She told me I needed to talk to her so I said okay let's talk and she refused to talk to me and walked away. I'd like to talk to the owner as soon as your available please. It's nicknamed the dirty bird for a reason. It's a no-frills dive bar. Other than 90% men and 10% women, it's my go-to place to unwind. People are quite friendly including the bartenders. This bar seems like the one people go to get a quick cheap drink BEFORE going to other bars and also the last bar to go to when other bars close early. If I were the owner I'd give drink specials to ladies and maybe that will help balance the sausage-fest ratio. Also, they have the juke box cranked up way to high that it's hard to hold a conversation. read more

If you're a minority just don't go. They're actually racist. I'm an Asian American male and they straight up took my ID and questioned my age, refusing to give it back even after I politely asked-how is that even allowed? Every worker ignored me when I asked for help (not even asking for a drink but to get me ID back :/). Idk if you're a non minority go for it, it seems homey enough but again if you're a minority DO NOT waste your time unless you want to be singled out and targeted. read more

Witnessed first had the bartender named Becky being extremely racist to a group of African American females who were paying for music on the jukebox. She told them they had to play "white music" ?!?!?!! As a Latina woman this was very offensive to myself and also the ladies. They obviously felt very uncomfortable, unwelcome and discriminated against. The owner of this bar needs to teach his employees how to be professional. Do not support this business! read more

Whoever the old lady is that works behind the bar is a see you next Tuesday by all means. My friends and I walked in last night, and we started playing pool. Almost immediately this lady walks up like I said super super mean super rude asks all four of us for our ID (like she should but if you've been to the dirty bird, you know that they don't ID you) and then we ask for a drink, and the lady couldn't even flag us down to let us know that our drinks were ready if we weren't even looking in that general direction we wouldn't have even known that our drinks were done. Great for playing pool. Bartenders ignore you and can not make a simple cocktail correctly. Then when asked to correct it the older lady took the drink and never replaced it after it was paid for. Too expensive to go for drinks when you get treated like crap by the bartenders. I tipped well also so maybe if I go back I'll just stiff the tip, if you can't make me what I ask for. I mean a vodka red bull and a vodka cranberry isn't that hard to make. read more

I have been to hundreds of bars around the world. I always look for the dive bar in a town. This is what Redlands has to offer in that category. The Good: cheap prices, shuffleboard, juke box, pool tables, pinball. The AWFUL: every single bartender that works here. It never fails. No matter what day. No matter what time. They are busy bs'ing with their buddies or just don't give a damn. They are so bad it's funny. Inattentive and slow as hell. It's hard to pick which one is worse. They are equally horrible. The bartender Vicky here is very rude and disrespectful the fact that she continues to to be disrespectful to her customers is horrible somebody needs to put her on work probation!!! Apparently a popular place on a Saturday night, but why I'm not sure. The place is understaffed, if not for an off-duty bartender who was there on her own time, i would have never have gotten a drink. The place has pool tables, but the felt is torn and really thin, don't even bother trying to put English on a ball. Lastly, and the true deal breaker, is, the selection of music played on the jukebox, (so admittedly, my problem is with the attending crowd i guess). 98 % was extreme heavy rage rock. Apparently someone put $50 of this crap in the jukebox prior to my arrival, because none of my songs were ever played. To exacerbate this, the sound system was over-driven and very distorted. I walked out with such a headache i looked forward to my hangover the next day. read more

I love this bar don't get me wrong. I come here regularly but back in the day they use to have security. At least ok busy nights it was two and slow just one but this should be a safety hazard. Someone to check id and get the scum out of here. I was here and a bartender was harassed and a security guard should have been here: maybe make a fund from bartenders to pay for one of owner doesn't want to. read more

It's dirty. Cheap drinks, a good crowd any night of the week. Never had a bad night here. It's not the most glitzy bar to go to but if all you need is a good night or a chance to forget the real world with your friends, this is the destination. Easily my favorite bar in the county. What a rude bartender! Long red hair, older woman. We walked in with a group of 25 people and every single person complained about her. My DRINK wasnt even measured out, and that's not a good thing because at least my vodka redbull wouldnt have tasted only like redbull. After we had one drink we all left. You could have gotten a lot more business from us if only you would have smiled and acted like you wanted our business. I would have understood if we were rude but that was not the case. I dont recommend this place if you're looking for good service and good drinks. read more

Ah, the Dirty Bird.... Well... It's a dive. No frills, no bull shit, cheap drinks. They have billiards, shuffle board and a juke box. They also have little machines with random games on it, and if you play with the screen enough times, it gives you free games!!! The only thing that keeps me from even going here is the fact that they only take CASH. I've had good times here especially when you don't want to deal with the bullshit from the boiler room. You'll see people of all ages here, so you'll see a bunch of people mixed in here.. old people, Bros and their hoez, hipsters, you name it. I've gone a few times when they had karaoke and it is FREAKING hilarious! One old guy was running all over the bar like he's doing a show singing eric clapton. LOVED it. read more

If youre worried about people using the bathroom and taking their time, get more fucking bathrooms, and dont treat out of town talent like shit. I always appreciate when a server can confidently make recommendations and answer questions. For food, we ordered the Brussels sprouts, ahi crudo, potato tacos, and cheese fries. Everything was delicious, but those cheese fries?! Whew, baby! ‍ They were the star of the table. Crispy, cheesy, and absolutely addictive. If you're debating whether to order them, this is your sign. The drinks were also on point and paired perfectly with the food. Overall, everything we tried was flavorful and well-executed. As for parking, I honestly couldn't tell you much because we took a Lyft and were fully committed to enjoying ourselves responsibly. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back. Great food, great drinks, great service, and an even better atmosphere. What more can you ask for?
