Pizza is not good. I only gave it 3 stars because they deliver, Subs are decent, and my husband likes it.

a very small mom and pops pizza shop~though they have a small eating area it seems like most of their customers take it to go. came here two different times and each time was so delicious and it didn't disappoint me. first time I made a custom pizza filled with a combo of almost everything. fresh ingredients.. great sauce and overall delicious the second time was for their steak sandwich and macaroni salad. I was shocked at how good a sandwich was at a small pizza shop. better than steak sandwiches I've had shops SPECIALLY for these kind of sandwiches. steak onion cheese mushrooms all infused together perfectly all chillin in a toasted bun. must try!! I went here on the recommendation of some ex-New Yorkers. Getting New Yorkers to eat Anything on the West Coast without Complaining is a near miracle. That they recommended this place meant I had to try it. Got the special; a slice, a salad and a drink. The crust was crunchy, the sauce was good, as was the cheese. The service? Amazing pizza everytime. Not greasy, so generous with the toppings and cheese is like ninja turtle cheese. It's real mozzarella!!! It's just a great place. Also their sandwiches are so awesome! The Philly cheesesteak is exceptional - good quick service (we got it to go but looks like a small simple setting if you want to "eat in"). Read a little bit of the newspaper that they provide while we waited. Just went a second time and tried the ground beef and jalapeno pizza - excellent! It took a little while to get it but was worth the wait, we cruised back to the beach and enjoyed our pizza right there!!! read more

I don't quite understand the poor reviews on this place. I have been coming here for years and have received fast and friendly service each time. The pizza is always fresh and delicious. If you don't get the pizza, get the meatball sub. Hands down the best on the West Coast! They don't accept debit or credit cards, which is understandable because they are a smaller business. Love this place! The owners are super nice and friendly. They give great customer service to match their delicious food. One of my favorite things is that they don't skimp on toppings! Very generous! I was here with my family and a couple of my daughters's friends over the weekend. Because we were a pretty big group, I was looking for something good and reasonably priced! (Teenagers can be picky) After reading a few of the reviews, my husband and I decided to give them a try. The place is small, but clean. They have small picnic tables inside. The cashier was the owners daughter, very pleasant! Told us her parents have owned the place for 30 yrs! We ordered an extra large pizza,1/2 combination 1/2 cheese. Everyone really enjoyed it, including myself. I'm not big on pizza, but I loved how thin and crisp the crust was! We definitely got what we were looking for, good & inexpensive! The menu is simple and everything is very fresh. not alot if youre looking for conversation tho. i remember being in there one time and a guy walked in. We live down the street from here so it's our local go-to for pizza and sandwiches. It's better than all the other places we've tried in Oxnard over the past 10 years (however, Valentinos in port hueneme is good too). Pizza is tasty and reasonably priced, steak and cheese sandwich is really good (but beware they put mayo on it?) and so are the meatball and sausage sandwiches. Great toasted bread! I live walking distance from this little pizza joint which is located on Harbor within a little strip mall next to a donut shop, micro brewery, liquor store, subway and a weird little bar. They serve up some solid pizzas with fresh ingredients and they never skimp on the toppings. My favorite is the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and I like to get it well done for a crispier crust, but I highly suggest you try their other toppings too including the house combo which is loaded with so many meats and veggies they fall right off the pizza.. just to be honest, I can't say it's the best pizza I've ever had (as I am a pizza snob) or can compete with top joints in LA, but it's definitely one of the better pizza joints in Oxnard/Ventura and is way better than Toppers and Pizza man Dan's. They also serve up a mean Meat ball/Cheese Sub which is my 2nd fav item on the menu after their pizzas. If you order a pizza and go over to the micro brewery next door (which is excellent as well) they will bring it over to you free of charge. Gotta love the neighborhood symbiosis! We moved to the neighborhood 2 weeks ago and thought we'd give the local place a try. I yelp just about every place before giving it a try so based on the reviews I was excited to try this place. It was good! We ordered a small pizza and meatball sub. The pack on the toppings! Maybe that's why they charge so much for their pizza. The sub was ridiculously big! I'm sure it was enough for 2 people. Glad I read the reviews. Thanks for the tip about CASH ONLY, they don't take cards but there's a liquor store a few doors down with an ATM. Get your soda or other refreshments there. Don't be the guy in the pajamas who paid for a $2 soda, drank it like it was water then asked for a free Sprite refill. It was entertaining listening to him ask. "Oh. Really? I didn't know, since I didn't know can I get a free refill?" Even better was her reply, "No free refills." Don't be THAT guy. I have been asking myself since I stepped foot in there yesterday, "Why haven't I been here before!!??" My son and I had a play date with his friend yesterday at Mandalay Park. We were starving and decided to grab Subway. As soon as we got parked and got out of the car, we were overwhelmed by the delicious scent of home-made pizza. We noticed they had a special advertised on their window...a slice of pizza, chips/salad, and a small drink for less than $6. We decided this was the way to go, and it was the best decision we could've made. This has definitely become one of my favorite pizza joints in the county. The pizza is not too greasy, it's flavorful, and the portion sizes are big! The salad was really yummy too. I think it speaks volumes when you can tell the ingredients are fresh, and everything about our meal was fresh. They do only take cash. Excellent! I ordered a medium pepperoni, black olive, and mushroom pizza with a green salad for pick up. I was in town on travel and had to get packed up to leave the next day. The toppings were fresh and loaded on this pizza. The salad was pre-made but it was also very fresh and crisp. The two guys working in the shop were friendly.
