Went there for lunch and saw an employee sticking his bare finger into liquid butter or sauce and then proceeded to spread it on dough... he did this a couple of times.... So gross. This is not New York style pizza and is far from anything in New York. The pizza sauce is very bland and really has no flavor, it's on the sweet side. The crust was undercooked which is the reason why none of the slices were cut Because it's hard to cut doughy pizza. The wings are labeled wrong the suicide wing should be hot the hot wings should be medium. You need to add more spice to the suicide wings if you want to call them suicide. The wings did have a good flavor and were cooked well. I knew I was in trouble when I saw on the window pizza slices served between one and 4 o'clock. That sign needs to be peeled off. If you're looking for New York style pizza the closest you're going to find is Grimaldi's because it's cooked on a coal fired oven. You're going to get good leoparding on the top And the bottom will be crisp. I will say the service was very friendly But is far is New York Pizza and wings this is not your place. read more

Great food and great price, close to campus and conveniently centered in town. I live south of the 40 and Pizza guy is one of the few places that will deliver south of 40.. I have only had one problem with pizza guy. They were super busy one night and when my pizza arrived 20 minutes after the 45 minute await time it was all smooched together.. But at least it wasn't smashed to the top of the box. This is a college town and it is understandable to be extremely busy some nights. So I want to worried about it. Like I said only problem I ever experienced with pizza guy. The other 99.9% of the time they have been spot on. read more

We placed an order last night and when it arrived, it was incorrect. We politely asked they bring back a fresh order with all of the items we requested and paid for. I then called the manager, Morgan I believe, who was incredibly rude. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, she tried to make me feel bad by telling me they would have to eat the cost of the pizza and wings. When I asked for the owners contact, I was given a false email address. We've been loyal customer for 14 years and thanks to Morgan, we'll never order from them again. Good prices and great food. We ordered on a Sat night and many other places had much longer waits for delivery. We decided on Pizza Guy and our food got to our hotel just a couple minutes after the anticipated delivery time but it was no big deal. The delivery guy was extremely friendly and outgoing and the food was excellent. We'll definitely order from them again next time in Flagstaff. read more

I called in and then walked over from our room at the Hilton Double Tree, about a 3-5 minutes walk on well lit paved sidewalk about half a block down Yale Street, I had been driving all day and needed some exercise. The pizza was ready within 5 minutes from my arrival about 10 minutes after placing otder. I carried the pizza back to the room and I couldn't believe how fresh and good this pizza was.. take my word this was seriously one of the best take out pizzas I have had anywhere and reasonably priced for the exceptional port and value. So heres the story. I used to be very cheap when it came to ordering pizza. Used to spring for the $5 pizzas. My fiance wanted to try The Pizza Guy out one time. Well since then I haven't been able to order from anywhere else. Food is more expensive but extremely good. I normally order same thing. Large meat lovers and a ton of wings. The wings are a pretty good size. This last time I went on their website and saw there is even a 20" XTRA Large. Your basic "fast food" type pizza; you know, the kind that makes the roof of your mouth hurt after eating it. It's okay in the moment, I guess. Anyway, what was weird about this place was its three employees. I have never seen people with such a lack of personality and absolutely no interaction amongst themselves. I've worked pizza places and I know it's not really worth it to be chipper, but these guys were just eerie. Add to that the front counter man was trying to discourage us from eating inside, presumably because they wanted to close the place a bit early. When I was a freshman at NAU, pizza consisted of Papa Johns. It wasn't until years later that I discovered Pizza Guy, and I'm sad that it took me 2 years to discover them, because when I want a consistent, reliable pizza, it's this place. The dough is great, perfectly cooked, with a little bit of sweetness that I adore. The sauce is hearty and spicy, and there is the perfect amount for me. Not too little, not too much, which is always a positive. I've had both meat and veggie pizzas, and this is one exception where I will say that I love the veggie pizzas more. I usually get a garlic & mushroom, and it's usually fresh. Recently, I got a slightly not hot pizza from them, but I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. Having good prices helps round out Pizza Guy as my favorite fast pizza joint in Flag. read more

I visited The Pizza Guy a few days ago, and while it wasn't that bad, I don't think I'll be going again. The pizza was alright(I tried my friends), the pice range pretty good as far as I could tell, and I really loved the interior decor, but the wings....ick. They were way over cooked to the point of being 100% crisp and no real flesh or substance. Plus they left a really weird after-taste in my mouth. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap slice of ok pizza, look no further, but save yourself the trouble and don't try the wings. read more

Ok folks! **UPDATE! 1/3/15 -One hour after I ordered at 3:45pm on a Saturday, they bring the pizza with the wrong toppings. They took the pizza back, I haven't eaten in close to 30 hours at this point, so needless to say, no corrective action taken on the company's part, after I had pulled the pizza apart with my fingers to prove there was no topping on it....they will likely toss the pizza. Recently my wife placed an order after a long 12 hour shift taking care of sick patients. They said "40-50mins". She called back 90 minutes later and spoke to a very rude male who hung up on her. We received our pizza 120minutes later, cold and hardly any sauce. I reached out to the owner via email and have never heard a response back so now I'm writing this review.
