Tables, booths, and counter seating facing out large window. Closed-captains TVs with sports playing. We decided what to order by looking at the large menu spanning the counter base. We ordered: - 2 small garden salads (these are pretty large. They don't skimp. Good basic old school pizzeria garden salads) - Fried Zucchini with ranch - I enjoyed these. We finished the basket pretty much. Not as good as Knock Kneed Lobster Fried Zucchini but good - 10-piece Spicy Traditional Wings with ranch and blue cheese. First time hubs had wings since surgery. He said they were good. Came with carrot sticks - Large 1/2 Gary's Special 1/2 Pesto Chicken Pizza - Good crispy and airy crust. I really loved the Gary's Special and my daughter ate all the Pesto Chicken by midnight. Great service! Given a number at counter and food brought to us. Apparently "Flagstaff style" pizza is absolutely disgusting. Way, way, way too much cheese, bland crust. The garlic sauce is obviously very garlicky but in an off way, like there's fillers and not fresh garlic. The hot honey had something in it, maybe vinegar? My kids would not eat any of the pizza, I felt sick it was so gross. I don't know when I'll even be ready to eat pizza again after this, I feel ruined. 2 stars for delicious meatball app. read more

Did you know there's such a thing as Flagstaff style pizza? At Nimarcos it's their claim to fame. We came here for an early dinner and shared a pizza. While ordering was quick it did take a little bit of time to get our pizza out and we were warned of this so we got some cheese curds to tide us over. The cheese curds were decent. It's breaded fried cheese so there's not much that can go wrong with that. The pizza was tasty! We had the Hawaiian BBQ which had plentiful toppings and I enjoyed the crust. Unfortunately it was a little too spicy for the little one so we will have to beware of that for next time. It got busier as the evening progressed so service got a bit spotty. We visited here in July and there wasn't any good air flow through the restaurant as it got progressively warmer and warmer as we sat waiting for our food. I'd also skip dining in when it's summer time due to this. Despite the lags in service, I do appreciate that the members of the family that own Nimarcos all pitch in to clear tables and deliver food to tables. read more

Went in yesterday. Unfortunately they cook their slices of cheese with their pepperoni. I went in to get one slice of cheese but good thing I looked at the pan it was on and it was touching the pepperoni. Thankfully I saw that or I could have gotten very sick. However, we decide on ice tea since we have a BOAT load of errands to run. The bowl was full of our ceasar salad, plenty to share, and the pizza was amazing. I never in all my years have eaten my crust however this time there wasn't any crust for my husband to eat. Look at the bottom of the pizza, PERFECT! We all like different kinds of pizza, so each of us was able to pick the kind we wanted. Soda fountain was Pepsi products....not my favorite but good tea choices too. The pizza was perfect. I was able to get plain cheese as a vegetarian, while my son and hubby could devour pepperoni and sausage. Nice staff. Having a service dog, it was nice to see a poster on the door about not passing your dog off for a service dog because it devalues true service dogs. We don't let her eat people food except an occasional pizza crust at home. So, it was a challenge for her not to check out the pizza, but she remembered where she was and waited patiently. read more

Stopped off here after spending most of the morning on a tree adventure excursion so I was very hungry and worked up a pizza appetite. I ordered the large Popeyes pizza and chose to only put bacon on half since my wife is not a fan of bacon along with the cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer. I will say one thing that stood out to me was how perfectly crispy and seasoned the crust was on both the garlic bread and pizza. Not overly so but just enough to get the fresh outer crumble with soft dough in the center. If I lived here, this would honestly be my go to pizza place. Parking: Located in the Green Tree Village Shopping Center, the restaurant is easily accessible from University Drive (on the other side of the street from Target). There's plenty of parking around the building. Environment: Due to Covid, there are a handful of parking spots near the entrance of the restaurant that is dedicated to food pick up. We placed an order online and when we arrived, we gave them a call to let them know what our parking spot number was. An employee walked out with our order and off we go with our food. What was ordered: - Monster Meat Large Pizza (large pizza cut into 18 slices filled with tons of pepperoni, bacon, ham, and sausage) - Calamari (crispy and delicious with the sweet red chili sauce; also comes with lemon wedges) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Honestly REALLY REALLY good. We ordered kind of on a whim and definitely will again. I will say it's always a bit of a shell shock when you order two large pizzas and it's $60. They were specialty pizzas(Buffalo chicken & barbecue chicken) so I understand a higher price but prices have just gotten crazy everywhere you shop/eat. We also just wanted a few ranches and we had to pay $3 for 4 tiny ranches which is slightly steep especially when you are already paying almost $30 per pizza.
