They charged me 2 times for one order, it was like a 32 dollar order, plus tip, therefore I was charged about 70 bucks in total. I only had about 50 bucks in the bank so I incurred a 30 dollar overdraft charge. I called immediately, and you guys refunded the second charge, but refused to do anything about my 30 dollar overdraft fee, and the bank wouldn't do anything either because they were not at fault. This place is ok. The pizza here has great crust and is available for purchase if one wants to get it. However the pizza itself is not really my favorite. For one, the sauce is too robust for my taste, and second, the cheese they use is pretty cheap tasting, probably because it is cheap. However if you are looking for a quick and cheap lunch, you could do worse than come here. I came in and got a cheap two pizza and soda deal for about $5. It was served promptly and without any pomp and circumstance. This is mostly a delivery place anyway, and there were only 3 tables in here which makes it seem like they don't want customers. However I found the people there to be nothing short of kind and accommodating. I would come here again if I needed a quick lunch, but other than that I wouldn't seek it out automatically. read more

So...if Mellow Mushroom is a 9 and Domino's is a 3. I would rate Pizza Guy a 4.5. On vacation and ordered because of good reviews. My boys, 9 and 4, didn't like the pizza sauce with a kick on the pizza. I thought it was average. Dough was good, but not even close to Mellow Mushroom. I feel that yelp is giving pizza guy a bad rap. I order pizza from them regularly for delivery and it's always really good hot pizza at my doorstep within the hour of ordering. Sometimes even 15 minutes. It's reasonably priced, and well worth it. I typically get their ultimate veggie, with no pineapple which is incredible. Their wings are also fantastic. This place is a little pricey but the pizza is very good. The service is even better. The music that's played in this facility is even greater than the service and the food combined. All-around five stars. The girl with green hair is a very nice person and so are the boys. I appreciated the service that I received. I appreciated the pizza that I ate. So I'll start by saying that I like pizza but I'm not really a fan of pizza sauce. I know that I originally gave them a bad review but one night I wanted pizza and really wanted something other than a tomato based sauce so I started looking at all the local pizza places to see what my options were and up pops the pizza guy and they do ranch on the pizza. So I ordered a pizza, salad, and wings and skeptically ordered ranch for the salad and wings . The pizza was really good, the salad was big especially for a side salad, fresh and they give you a lot of veggies with it (especially once you see how cheap the salad is) and my husband said the wings were good but not great which is why they don't get 5 stars. The crust on the pizza is so good that I normally have a slice of pizza and then just the crust from a slice or two. Also, I have never had this anywhere else but the pizza reheats in the oven almost as good as it is fresh. We had it when my in-laws were over for the holidays (they weren't brave enough to try my ranch base pizza though so they got regular) and my mother in law actually said it was the best pizza she ever had (wouldn't go that far) and she didn't even try it with ranch! read more

There's quite a choice of pizzas in Flagstaff. Our tour guide suggested this place and not a disappointment. Ordered the veggie and a small salad. The salad had pepperoni and ham on it with croutons and cheese, which was a bonus I wasn't expecting! All was very good!!! read more

I understand Flagstaff is far from providing any good pizza or chinese food but the customer service and the we don't give a shi.. attitude definetly is alive and well at this place. I just ordered a pizza and decided to ask for extra cheese as the topping on a 14" pizza with 10 wings and received a luke warm no extra nothing for 27.00. I wasted my money and embarressed in front of my guest. The girl who answered the phone never apologized and just stated well do you want another pie? Stupid question when yu are already disapointed and then says ok, ok, you told me but it says it had extra cheese. The catch is that the coupon for the pizza was 10.99 how oes 10 wings and a 2 liter of rootbeer add 16.00 more dollars to your order. AWFUL all the way around. Not sure what the real problem was but my small 12" pizza and 5 wings took 2 and a half hours to be delivered, my stomach was curling by the time I got to take my first bite. Plus, I had asked for a "few ranch cups" and when they arrived I was hoping for three and they only gave me one to share amongst my 3 friends. I have worked with pizza for about 4 years and this place is a great mom and pop pizza joint. They have very good specails and coupons I want to say they have a 16" pizza for something around the price of 12 dollars it's a little more than Papa Johns but they food is good and you should support small businesses, and you will not be dissappointed by the food. The food is also very consistent. They are also very quick on both delivery and pick up. They have very good dough and sauce. I haven't talked with the staff to much but they have been nice to me everytime I have gone in. P.S. Sam is a great delivery driver, ask for him! read more

Pros: Pizza is legit, new york style tasty pizza. The ingredients must make the difference, because you can't find the taste in chain pizza places. Good cheese, good meats, good sauce. Crust is made just right. Hot wings have the most perfect, hot flavor. SO good- this is absolutely the place to come if you are craving good wings. Prices are the best thing about this place. One of their deals is a Medium 2-topping and 2 drinks for $12.99. We always add an order of 10 wings which go for 6.99 (?). Usually comes out around $20 bucks which isn't bad for two people. Cons: Customer service sucks. The guy that takes your order is always a jerk and the delivery drivers are usually awful. I know it's just a pizza place, but would it kill them to act decent or friendly? They charge extra fees to use credit cards, which I just find unacceptable. read more

ok first of all, its been under the same ownership for over 15 years, so nothing has changed.. Its great pizza though and you cant deny it. Its a little understaffed, so on a busy night you may get some pizza thats been around a bit, but its all fresh ingredients cut daily.. So not the same price as a dominos or pizza hut, fresh cut with preservatives and MSG.. That may be pretty damn good but your not gonna get a quality pizza. Thats what you get here. If you order something and want it fresh out of the oven........... ORDER CARRYOUT. Its not a hard concept to understand. Sometimes just the drive alone can kill a pizzas freshness. I LOVE Pizza Guy pizza. It's always hot and delicious-delivery or take out. Coupons are plentiful with every pizza and sometimes on my door knob. The dough is so amazing. It's perfectly moist and soft but not sticky. There is never too much or too little sauce. The veggies are fresh and not overcooked. I can't speak for the meat, but my roommates seem to love it. The only negative thing I've experienced is that the employees act like they hate you when you order or pick up your food. Oh, and it's pretty much take out only-not a restaurant you can sit and eat in. I think you may be able to get slices during lunch and there is one table, I think. Try Fratelli's or Nimarco's if you want local pizza from a sit-down place. I've heard good things about Alpine too. read more

This is the worst pizza ever! We stayed at a local hotel nearby and this was the only place to get a quick late-night delivery. The crust was horrible, burnt edges and it was bland and tasted like cardboard. The sauce was not well-seasoned, bad bitter flavor. I called and complained and could not get a refund or a replacement. Also I make better wings at home. This place is disgusting with poor service. Good pizza but delivery is bad! I have ordered 10+ times and it never gets better. If you don't ask on the phone for cheese and peppers your driver won't have them. 4 out of 5 times they didn't bring the ranch for my wings and it was on the receipt. Speaking of receipt I HATE that they write out my credit card info on a carbon copy receipt and attach it to the pizza box! Not safe or secure as the driver and who else knows has all my info to order something else. Overall way better than chain pizza delivery but don't expect much from the driver and hopefully you have ranch, cheese and peppers stocked up in the house because the driver will most likely FAIL! read more

I'd like to preface this negative review by saying I've been ordering Pizza Guy since 2001...it has always been one of my favorites. I'm not sure what happened but it is no longer the place I used to know. We called to order and the lines were down, which I now think was on purpose. When I went in personally to order the pizza and told them the lines were down they acted "surprised" but it was odd. I asked to see the special menu and all the special prices had been crossed out (in pen) and raised...although this is not reflected on the web site. The prices are so much higher the coupons are actually more expensive than the menu pizza prices! Who had that great idea? The cashiers seemed HAPPY when I told them I no longer wanted a Pizza, and it was in general the worst customer service I have seen in a long time...and I have been working in restaurants over 20 years, many of those places pizza places. So sad. Guess I'll find a new place. read more

I have been ordering delivery from pizza guy for years with no trouble. Pizza is always hot when it arrives. We called tonight for delivery and the person who answered the phone placed us on hold for 10 mins and never came back, called them back again and was hung up on, called a 3rd time and placed an order for a pizza with Canadian Bacon, mushrooms, feta cheese. The guy on the phone kept saying ham and didn't know what feta was, even though this is all on their menu...order placed...I called back to make sure the order was correct, same guy still saying ham and was very rude when I asked to talk to a manger he said he was the manager and refused to give me his name.
