We ordered our food through Grub Hub, this was my first and LAST Grub Hub order. Received order on time, it was cold (3 pizzas, wings and cheesy bread) but it was chilly outside so not a huge deal to heat it up in the oven. What WAS a big deal was that our order wasn't complete. They didn't deliver my salad...which was my meal. I called Grub Hub and asked them to bring me the item they forgot to deliver but was told too bad, they'll give me a refund. I said I didn't want a refund for that item...I wanted my meal. Was told unless I placed another order for $70 i wasn't getting my salad. Oh and the refund will take 3-5 business days. Friendly staff serving up large assortment of toppings, crispy, thin crust pizza cooked fast. We tried the spicy sauce and it was delicious. It's a normal size pizza... certainly not XL, and definitely not worth $28 considering how paler thin it is (and not NY thin). This pizzeria is a California based franchise where this restaurant is the first in Orlando. It gets its name from the fresh dough that is made on site that is then pressed to a thin crust in a machine while you watch. All toppings are fresh where you have the option to make either one of their signature pizzas or a made to order pizza which my picture reflects. Relative to my pizza it was tasty and the right size for an adult male. The service staff was very friendly and the facility offered both inside and outside dining options in a casual environment. Quality of the pizza was four stars but i would rate it as a five star from a value equation where my pizza was $10 which is a very good price for a tourist area like Orlando. This place recently showed up on my Yelp page as numerous friends had checked in, posted photos, or written reviews. So last night, I decided to check it out. The location is very unassuming. Blink and you may miss it. It is located on 192 by AT&T and Starbucks. I was able to find parking right in front and the place was largely empty at 5:30 on a Wednesday, though it got more crowded by the time I left. I love the theme of the restaurant where your pizza is kind of like a newspaper that goes into printing, editing, and publishing. It's very cute. The set up is like that of Blaze at Disney Springs, or Chipotle style if you will. First, you pick your crust, then your sauce, then your cheese, and then meats, veggies, and finishing. It was my first time here so I didn't want to make anything too complicated, and I'm kind of boring. I love a good ole fashioned cheese pizza, so I ordered their signature cheese, which is anything but boring. It had Parmesan, ricotta, and mozzarella. It was absolutely cheese-tastic. After I got it I thought about how a little basil would have made it even more killer. Also, if you are a big cheese fan like me they had like 7 different cheeses you could put on your pizza. The cool thing is though, if you are a meat eater like my husband they have like 5 or 6 meats you can put on your pizza too and if you are a vegetarian they have lots of options for that too. Did I mention they even have a gluten free crust and vegan cheese? This place has options for just about everyone. Once your pizza goes into the oven it just takes 2 or 3 minutes for it to be brought to your table, piping hot and fresh, the absolute best way to have pizza, fresh and hot. The prices are super reasonable. My cheese pizza was $8. The publish your own is $10. The portion sizes are great. I was able to eat 2 slices of my pizza at the restaurant. I took the other 4 slices home. I'm still eating on those slices two days later and it still tastes great. Finally, they have cookies and ice cream for dessert. They have a wide variety of fountain drinks and beers too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. You should definitely check this place out. I know I will be back. read more

If you're not from NY and not in a real rush then the wait for the pizza is well worth it if there's a line. Best of all there is a full vegan option! Saturday night and order to bite was about 15 mins. This is a Blaze concept with a little more focus and really good craft beers on tap. Our order was spicy sauce, mozzarella and half vegan mozzarella topped with bell peppers and onions. Both tasted excellent! There are a number of sauces you can add, I tried the mango habanero which have it a nice flavor. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. As most mention, very similar to blaze. Major differences are the extremely thin crust and the conveyor belt style oven. Blaze crust is a little more "traditional" and it is cooked in a, what appears to be, a wood burning oven. Pizza was very good and counter service folks were very nice! Wow! So glad my friend told me about this place. The set up is very similar to Blaze Pizza or Pieology, but I liked this place best. The team was super friendly. Faith is a fantastic employee. Major props to her for spectacular service!! You have the option of ordering a cheese pizza, one of their signature pies for $10 or build your own for $10. Of course, I built my own! I did half pink sauce / half marinara sauce. There is no limit to toppings, and they have quite a variety to choose from (see menu image) I love the theming of the restaurant. They take the concept of "press" throughout the elements of the restaurant. So, you "publish" your pizza. The names of the signature pizzas are popular Newspaper names (The Tribune, The Sun, etc.) And, they have the cutest "Newsie-inspired uniforms." I was surprised that they also had draft beers and ice cream. Such a variety of options. Definitely recommend if you're in the Celebration area. Tip: If you have limited time and don't plan to eat in, plan ahead. You can order in advance if you're in a hurry. I'd recommend this. Tottally decent pizza! On walking in the environment was clean and the staff was friendly and patient as they explained the options and didn't appear annoyed at our indecisiveness. We elected the family special (2 pizzas with cheese bread and two drinks). We did custom builds on each half of each pie. Pizzas where served on wooden pizza paddles, which were a nice touch for bringing the pies to the table. The pizzas were very good, the thin crusts were crisp with ample cheese covering every inch of the pie. The ingredients tasted fresh and with lots of ingredient choices, you are limited only by your imagination. The only things keeping me from giving this 5 stars are: 1) You eat off the paddle. That isn't a big deal in itself, but with little kids this can be a challenge. The three paddles you get with the family meal leaves little room for drinks. Additionally, as the kids split a pie, neither could have anything to eat over so we had to improvise by using napkins as plates. 2)With a family meal, you would expect to have drinks for everyone (at least a standard family of 4 or less). Alas you get two. Waters for mom and dad. 3) No fresh mozzarella. Plenty of fresh shredded mozzarella but not the chunks some prefer. C'est la vie. Still a very good experience. read more

I understand where they are going with each 'station' and the name. The dough is pretty good. There is a running joke with some friends, if we could get Blaze Pizza toppings and Pizza Press dough, it would be perfect. The final thing is the amount of beers they have on tap. When I saw that a new restaurant was coming and filling the space where Starbucks moved out of I was anxious to see what was to come. Then I saw it was going to be another pizza place. When I saw the name during construction I looked it up online and saw it was another build your own place and I thought, ok when they open, lets give it a try. And I so happy that I did. Being someone who is trying hard to eat more gluten free I was excited to see that they have the option for $2 more. I also like how they ask if it is a preference or an allergy. Once they prepared my dough, which is kept seperately from the other dough. Even though they have quite a selection of recipes pizzas to choose from I decided to "publish my own" and so we started with their huge selection of sauces. After getting the opinion of one of the "newsboys" I chose the pink sauce which is a combination of their tomato sauce and white sauce. I added some minced garlicon top and then the cheese. They have 8 different cheeses to choose from. I decided on shreeded mozzerella and pearlini mozzerella. The next step was meats and veggies, where we added chicke, Bourbon Bacon, Crimini Mushrooms, Grape tomatoes and last but not least Articoke hearts. With my pizza completly built they loaded it in the oven and I headed down to the register. Despite the huge selection of beers on tap I chose a fountain drink and then headed over to find a seat. Before I could head back up to the counter to get my pizza, one of the Newsboys brought my creation to the table on a pizza paddle. They also asked if I wanted any finishers for the pizza, like balsamic glaze, BBQ Sauce, basil, cilantro, etc... But my creation was perfection and I couldn't wait to dig in for the first bite. I grabbed one of the slices, gave it a fold and took a bite; making sure to get all of the flavors. Absolutely delcious. I have to say that the gluten free crust is one of the best I have had. So very often GF crusts end up being very thin and overly crisp or too chewy. This was perfection and had a bit of sweetness to it. Before I new it, I had eaten the whole thing. I go into this review with full disclosure that I never had any intent on giving this place five stars. After growing up in NY/NJ and spending a couple years in SoCal, I have come to the realization that California may be great at many things, but pizza is not it. Stick to the tacos. I only went in because it looked neat and it is incredibly close to home. I went in with my expectations still sitting in the car. I waited a few days for the crowds to settle down and made my first of two visits at 10pm (2nd visit was at 1215am). There was no line and about four crew members eager to assist. As others have described, this is a subway style pizza joint. Just go down the line and add what you want. They offer up a few menu options if you can't make up your own mind. All pizzas are $10, with the exception of basic cheese, which is $8. I have now tried both the pink and red sauce and have been happy with both. The ingredients list is more extensive than one would imagine. They offer several cheeses, including fresh mozz, feta, smoked gouda, gorgonzola. Toppings include about every meat under the sun as well as some "premium" greens like artichokes, red peppers, caramelized onions. You can literally make a million combinations, depending on your mood. After you choose your toppings, it goes int he Quizno's oven for a quick bake. I'd say it takes about 5 minutes to cook. This leads you to the register, where you can find about 20 craft beers on tap, including about 20% from SoCal, which made my heart happy. I have had both my Ballast and Green Flash fix this week. Beers run anywhere from about $5-7, and they were running a "blue star" special last night, where random beers were $5 (my Green Flash passion fruit). The service has been top notch, and what you would expect from a place that takes care of its team. Everyone was engaging and eager to educate customers on the place. The restaurant was clean, with someone always running around cleaning. The pizza was very good. It was not NY, Chicago or anything gourmet. It is a basic crust with whatever you want...quality. After two visits in three days, I am having to give this place an honest five stars. It has done nothing to warrant less. It has only exceeded my expectations and has me wanting to go back for both more beer and pizza. The fact that they are open until 1am daily is pretty damn amazing. Thanks for moving in!! read more

It's a fast-casual pizza place (think Chipotle, but pizza instead of burritos). There's seating inside, as well as a large covered outdoor patio. Stopped in for their grand opening (the Great Pizza Giveaway) today and got a free pizza with purchase of a drink. This used to be a Starbucks up until this year, when Starbucks moved into an adjacent building. Now, Pizza Press has moved into town and set up shop! The pizza is a thin crust. It's crispy, flakey, and very good if you like thin crust. It reminds me of a flatbread, but just a thick enough to support the toppings...and boy are there plenty of toppings to choose from. They have signature pizzas to to pick from, or you can build your own with as many toppings as you want. All the pizzas were $10, including the build your own, except the plain cheese ($8) and the vegan cheese ($11). They were literally giving it away today, so the line was very long, but it was worth the wait. I'm a huge thin crust pizza fan, so this was perfect for me! You can order a "signature" pizza and then sub out any of the ingredients, so I got "The Tribune" and opted for White Sauce and added grape tomatoes. After they prep the pizza with your toppings they put it through their conveyor belt oven, and then at the other end of the oven you can choose "finishers" like cilantro, Sriracha, pesto, etc. They had at least 20 beers on tap, and they apparently serve a "beer float" which is like a root beer float but with real beer. Didn't get to try it, but it sounded interesting! I stopped in today for their free pizza, and I was very satisfied. A solid 4 stars for a made-to-order customizable pizza joint right across from work. Score! The Pizza Press is located where the former Starbucks was, a very convenient location off 192. Inside, you walk down the queue as you get your personalized pizza made the way you want. Choose from cheeses, sauces, veggies, meats, and extra add-ons, and let me tell you - there are A LOT of toppings! I'm flexible, so I told them to throw on whatever they like, and it came out delicious! As you pay, the pizza pops out of the oven and gets sliced before you get your pizza creation. While I'm definitely going to come back here again, the *only* complaint I have is that it took about 20 minutes from entering the restaurant to paying, cutting into a big chunk of my lunch time. Since there not many people in line in front of me, I wonder how backed up it gets when it's really crowded? Next time, I'll make sure to come at an "off" lunch time to avoid some of the crowds. Overall though, there was lots of seating - both inside and out, beers on tap (I'll come back another time for that!), a welcoming energy, and great pizza. We walked in last night around 9 after a failed trip to Disney Springs to see a movie... so this wasn't our first plan. But we needed food. There was hardly anyone in there eating but Josh behind the counter said we were lucky because we just missed the rush. He made our pizzas and was very nice. The pizzas came out super quick... not that I was expecting for them to take very long. I have heard so many good things about the Pizza Press in Anaheim but had never been. I'm happy there is one close to my house for me to try. They are opening from 12-1am which is nice if you are a late eater like I am and are looking for something quick that isn't sit down or a bar. It's very similar to Blaze Pizza at Disney springs but with a lot less tourists which is nice. I would 100% pick this place over Blaze any time. I got just cheese pizza and it was amazing! We stopped here during our vacation in Orlando, and it was a good decision. We weren't sure what to expect walking into the Pizza Press, but we were quite surprised in what we found. If you've been to Blaze, then the concept is similar. Quick and fast personal pizza. They have quite a variety of signature pizzas, as well a build your own, with a pretty impressive list of ingredients to choose from. We ordered 2 of their signature pizzas, The Tribune and Chronicle. We did add a few things on both, and the service was happy to accommodate our requests. In fact, my wife took a while "building" her pizza, and there was nothing but smiles and laughing from the service team. Maybe it was because they weren't too busy when we arrived, but it was nice to see. We got one of their specials, which was 2 pizzas and drinks. We got seated and waited for our pizzas. While we waited we noticed all the newspaper inspired items around the place, and realize that was the whole concept of the Pizza Press. Interesting. Our pizzas came and both were quite delicious. The sweet Italian sausage on the Tribune was a hit with me, while the all the veggies on the Chronicle were very good and tasty. We couldn't finish either, with a few slices left, so we got a to-go box for them and took it back to our hotel (I did have some the next day). Overall, The Pizza Press offered a very tasty pizza and the service was great. If we vacation in Orlando (or down by Celebration, Fl), we will at least know of a pizza place we enjoyed. read more

Our excitement for trying a new pizza place left us hungry when we waited for 35 minutes in line while the understaffed restaurant tried to keep up... As our pizza crew cold, #4 in a line that backed up in the oven while one person tried to finish the pizza orders, fill beverage orders, and check people out. After we paid, the staff wanted to serve us a pizza that by then was not fit to eat. In a vain attempt to reheat it, the pizza took another trip through the oven which turned it to charcoal. After 40 minutes a manager or the owner stepped in to help, but it was too late. Faced with the choice of driving into the darkness to find another restaurant or have our pizza remade, we opted for the latter. People who came in long after us got their pizzas, ate, and left while we waited for a remake. Not a positive experience. Can only give this experience one star because the pizza was OK. Not sure how this restaurant rates so highly. This is the first time the reviews didn't match the experience we expected. read more

OMG 5/5! As someone who comes to this area yearly I am upset I haven't tried this place before now! The make pizzas made to order. They have a menu or you can build your own pizza. They offer a good variety of bases, toppings, and add-ons after your pizza is ready. Pictured is the Herald and a build your own with White Sauce, Mozzarella, and Spinach with double crust. We also enjoyed the Deep Dish Cookie. Also amazing! This place is cool for a date night or a night out with the kids. We really didn't expect this place to be THAT good. However, we ate every drop and we made it back home and are still talking about that pizza! I highly recommend. We also went on a Friday(Black Friday) around 8:30 and it wasn't too crowded. Nope. Just nope. Came here on our way home from Miami since we heard lots of good things about it. We are huge fans of Blaze Pizza. I ordered the gluten free crust. I was bummed to see the employee take the crust out of a box instead of provide a fresh gluten free dough. I had red sauce, garlic, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes and the zucchini/squash combo. I also ordered two additional pizzas for the family to go as well. My first issue is how stingy they were with the toppings. I asked for extra garlic and veggies and it seemed horrified by my request. I kept having to say "more?" and they'd put an additional 1/2 small tomato down. It was the weirdest thing. Both the gluten free crust and regular crust tasted like crackers to us. I was born in Chicago. I know what a thin crust is supposed to taste like. I know what a deep dish is supposed to be. I know what a NY style pizza should resemble. This was none of the above. I don't know what this was. But it wasn't good. If you like Cici's Pizza, Chuck E. Cheese, or Nutrisystem meals, you will enjoy Pizza Press. If you like Blaze Pizza, don't come to this place because the location is less irritating to get to. Go to the parking garage at Disney Springs. Tough it out and ride down two elevators. Walk to Blaze Pizza and have yourself a feast. Save yourself the turmoil of eating something that tastes worse than a Ritz cracker with fat free mozzarella and tomato juice on it.
