I asked the man behind the counter if they had slices. He proudly smiled and said they had the best slices in New England. They may indeed. For $2.95 I was served one slice (cut in three pieces) which was at least as big as two slices anywhere else. It was fresh out of the oven and the melting cheese perfectly complemented the delicious sauce. After a long drive and being under the weather, all I wanted to do was relax after checking in, but of course we needed some nourishment. After parking the car, I refused to go back out, and I was way too drained to venture out on foot, so I searched delivery via Yelp and found this location for some pizza and fries. I placed an order through Yelp and was a tad nervous only because the tracking didn't really tell me anything, but that it was ordered and I should expect delivery between 45-60 mins. I waited hopefully, then I got a call that my delivery was downstairs.. YAY. The food arrived hot, and fresh.. sorry no pics, we were hungry. I had some peperoni pizza and fries both were good. The fries were kind of like the double crunch fries, but not overly crunchy, they were great, and like I said arrive hot, because no one likes cold fries.. The pizza was good their pizza sauce is delicious, had a distinct flavor that sets it apart from the everyday pizza place. I ordered a large Latin pizza (chicken, bacon, tomatoes, peppers) with mushrooms added. I love pizza a lot! The pizza I had was super heavy and had a "greasy" taste. I was truly disappointed with the pizza. Usually pizza is good as leftovers but this did not taste good still. I also ordered the children chicken fingers with fries. The chicken fingers were eh but the fries were good. I won't be ordering from here again. I am still on the hunt for another good pizza place in the city! read more

This is an overdue review - We ordered a cheese pizza from this place a few months ago because it's just so convenient. Staff members were friendly. We waited for ten minutes after ordering thinking it's a good thing because they're making it fresh! But, nope. Should have checked the pizza right then and there because we went home, opened the pizza, picked up a slice and realized it was undercooked. So gross. I'd love to give Boston Pizza Stop & Cafe 4 stars but the quality of the food is inconsistent. The delivery service is fine (although I live around the corner), but the pizza and wings on one occasion were among the best that I've had in the South End. On the next visit the pizza was decidedly mediocre (and definitely not hot), and the wings lackluster. Nicole's delivers a much more consistent product, although I'll definitely give this place another try and hope for better. read more

Their cheese pizza is wonderful. One of the head guys who work there gave us free pastries with our pizzas. Their cheese pizza is only 5$ and give Student discounts on certain days. Very nice, friendly environment. I frequently visit since it's so close to my apartment. read more

Had to try this place again for the second time in a week. The first time I had the tuna salad sandwich, it tasted great and they packed so much tuna on it and the bread was toasted. Almost tasted like a loster roll. The fries are very good here too. They taste beer battered. The second time I ordered from here, I got the Italian sub, which comes cold, but I toasted it myself. Again it was good. The cheesy fries were good as well, the cheese just was hard by the time it got to me, which was expected. But this place is really good for it's price. G-G-G-G-G-GREASY! Place my order via phone and it was very difficult to understand what the man was saying. I thought he was asking me to repeat when he was really saying pickup or delivery. Luckily, my order of a large cheese pizza is basic 101. The pie was ready in 15 minutes and at ~$11 for a large, a decent price. The crust was soft, perhaps slightly undercooked. The pizza was extremely greasy, I used a paper towel to sop off the oil but it was to no avail. I didn't find Pizza Stop to be anything special and will try other options next time. read more

My first Yelp review! I had such a good experience with Pizza Stop that I thought it was finally time to stop just reading other people's opinions and actually give my own for once. My husband and I love their pizza. We get a large every Friday night with mushrooms and its always great. I think the sauce is what makes this pizza so good. Plus, the price is reasonable, its close by, and the never take more than 10-15 minutes to cook your pizza so its fast. I was looking recently for catering for my Dad's surprise 75th birthday party and on picking up our Friday pizza, I happened to notice their catering menu. It was half the price of the other places I was checking out, although there were no steak tips available for catering. I talked to the folks who work there and they were able to figure out a price for me for the amount of tips I needed as well as a few batches of chicken wings and chicken broccoli ziti alfredo. Everything came out just awesome! The tips were gone the fastest. They were very moist, especially considering I had them sitting over a sterno for an hour before my Dad showed up. I got two flavors of wings - the teriyaki and buffalo. Both were perfect. They make the sauces in house and you could tell, and again, plenty of moisture to go around! Plus the chicken practically fell of the bone. Chicken broccoli ziti was also done really well... it was the plainest of the dishes I got, but that was expected since it's just pasta. I ordered way too much so I have a full tray of it at home that I'll be eating for a few weeks! Good thing I like it so much! Again, the chicken seems to have been cooked really well since it's still moist even after a few reheat / chill cycles. Moral of the story - I highly recommend. Good prices for delicious food. Wish I could give it 0 stars. When we ordered a pizza here, they charged us 22% tax when it should actually have been around 6%. They tried to rip us off! Wouldn't give us a receipt and when we caught them at it, the man tried to blame it on the woman at the register. I guess they were upset because the pizza we got was burnt and barely had any of the gyro topping we had ordered. Seriously?! Horrible place. Go somewhere else if you want pizza. read more

I don't think I have ever been to a worse pizza place than Pizza Stop. The food was ok, pizza was burned, but the service was pretty bad. We walked in and about 5 minutes after we ordered I could hear yelling in the back where the kitchen is located. The owner was rude and sarcastic when we asked for more napkins!!! There were children in this place listening to the staff cuss each other out. The cook looked unwashed and was not wearing gloves or a hat/hair net. I watched as one of the employees went out to smoke and didn't even have the decency to wash his hands after. Another employee had the smell of booze on his breath when I asked for a different, and less burned, slice of pizza. I could not leave fast enough. Worst customer service ever! I ordered food for my staff at 11:20am and it got delivered at 1pm. The delivery man left me a very rude voice mail because I lost service while I was on the elevator going to look for him. When the food finally showed up they forgot 3, 2 liter bottles of soda, a salad, and what was supposed to be a steak and cheese was just a steak sub. They forgot to give me a itemized receipt which I asked for 3 times on the phone. Then I called to complain and the guy on the phone had attitude. Never again. Worst customer service and the pizza sucks!! At least have a good pizza if you're going to have attitude. read more
