Was craving pizza and wanted to try a new place this day (real adventurous I know...). For parking there's a CVS lot nearby if you're really sneaky (there's no room to double park on the street) which is convenient (unless you have a South End parking permit). The interior is definitely a no thrills type of establishment and is NOT air conditioned (which can be a problem during a particularly hot day). I ordered a custom pizza and was out the door in about 15-20 minutes. In regards to the pizza I got (pineapple, jalapeno, bacon and onion) it wasn't bad but nothing spectacular. The sauce was pretty good but the whole pizza was a bit soggy and there was cheese falling everywhere when trying to eat it. Crust was so-so. We also got a garden salad that came with a piece of bread which was... also okay (I mean it is salad...) The owner was nice and the pizza (the one I had anyways) was okay. Perfectly acceptable but nothing phenomenal.

Small black olive, eggplant, sausage light sauce well done! Mmmmmmmm!!!

My husband and I started going to Pizza Stop when I was an impatient at Boston Medical Center about a year ago. We asked the nurses where to get pizza that was good and flat out everyone said to go to Pizza Stop! During my long stay at BMC we must have ordered from them 5 or 6 times, the pizza is AMAZING!!!!! This pizza is GREEK STYLE pizza and the crust is Greek Style, crunchy, thin, cooked in a pan and if you are are a crust lover like I am, this is the place for you! If you are looking for hand tossed and stretched Italian Style pizza, you might not like it here but "don't yuck on my yum"! A few months later I found out I have Stage 4 Metestatic Cancer in my Kidney and lymph nodes, and in the area again but at a different hospital.in the Longword area. Happily in one of my first nights in town we order our favorite pizza in all our Boston and when my husband went in, the owner remembered him! My Husband told him I was pretty sick and he made us a huge piece of fried dough with sugar, cinnamon, and powdered sugar on it and told him to bring it to me! No charge! I thought that was great he remembered us and even greater he sent me a little treat! It was not the cost of the fried dough, it was the kind gesture that really touched me! I'm back in the hospital again And nearly died on the OR Table last week, but thankfully made it out of a critical situation when I ended up having zero kidney function and now that I can eat FOOD, tonight we will be ordering a large, light sauce, sausage, Black Olive and Eggplant pizza, well done and some onion Rings ( thick yummy beer battered), fries and a sub to split, probably steak and cheese after reading all the reviews here on Yelp! I can't wait!!!!!

Custom made M&O. Extra Sauce, Lite cheese, and well done. Perfectly yumalicious! Ty Stephen!

Stephen runs a great restaurant. He always makes sure my food is prepared the way I like it. We live right around the corner and I eat here often. The subs are fresh and tasty. I like the grilled chicken. The pizzas are really good too and they also sell slices. I just tried the steak tips with rice and salad last night and they were good. Marinated and tasty. Sausage Pizza A+, if you like real sausage and not that balled Papa Johns crap, this is your pizza.

    Kinda disturbing.

So I guess I'm ordering from them too many times now since the delivery driver was hella late with my food, he almost forgot my pizza and When I open the box the marinara sauce was spilt almost everywhere. I'll forgive you guys but please don't Let this unprofessionalism happen again. Thanks.

    Chicken wings without breading

Ordered to go here because I was starving. We ordered chicken wings and a buffalo finger salad. We didn't have to wait long for our food! They make pretty awesome salads! I'm not a bit fan of salads, although there's looked especially good! It had olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, a huge peperoncino pepper, and lettuce of course! The buffalo fingers were just perfect for the salad, add a different kind of crunch! We got a side of pita bread and these cute buns that they made with extra pizza dough! SO CUTE! The people who work there have always been very nice and I have not had a bad experience yet with them. The wings were awesome! I had the option of having them breaded or not, which I liked. I've always preferred my wings fried without being breaded. The one not so great part was the fact that I got a few very small pieces of wings, which probably would count as half a wing lol. They literally looked like they were missing half of itself lol. But they still counted them in as one. I didn't mind because by the time I was nearly done, I was already stuffed. I've had their pizzas before, but nothing too extraordinary...just pizza lol. Overall, a great place for food if you are hungry or need food fast!

So far I tried there pastrami sub and it was very good. I should've got Mayo on it but other than that it was bomb.com a lot of meat in that sub. I wish they would wrap up the sub to keep it warm. Instead of just putting it in a styrofoam.

As tables became available, they would call people inside. I ended up at a small table by the bar area. I ordered a small chicken and prosciutto pizza. It was excellent and perfectly cooked as promised. The flavor combination was great: prosciutto, chicken, spinach, ricotta, roasted peppers, sauce, and mozzarella. So big I couldn't finish it. (Hubby was happy because he got to try something too when I got back.) In terms of service, it's the north end so a little brusque, but you'll be happy you came.

1 star First off,…read morethe pizza we received was super oily and I had to use about 10 napkins to make it edible. We ordered a pizza by phone during the St. Anthony Feast, and the woman who took our order was curt and rude from the start -- I chalked it up to the festival rush. But it got worse when we picked up. We paid $32 for a pizza and asked if we could sit inside to eat it and there were plenty of available tables. We were told no -- inside is table service only, and takeout means you take it and eat elsewhere. Fine, except there was nowhere to sit outside at the festival. When we asked about using one of their own outdoor tables (they had roughly 30, and it was 11:15am, 45 minutes before the festival even started, so the tables were empty), we were told those were reserved for table-service customers only. This was after we'd already spent $32 in their restaurant. Regina's has been around for 100 years, but somewhere along the way they stopped caring about basic hospitality. Paying customers with nowhere to eat their food shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience. We won't be back.

My birthday was noted on the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment of it when I arrived. I'm not expecting a grand celebration, but for a place with such a classy, trendy, upscale reputation, I expected a warmer welcome and at least some acknowledgment of the occasion. To me, service and hospitality are a huge part of the dining experience, and that initial welcome just didn't set the tone I was hoping for on my birthday. A heads-up if you're driving: there isn't parking immediately nearby, so expect to walk a little. Also, pay attention once you're on the street because GPS can be a little misleading when trying to locate the entrance. Thankfully, our server, Alexia was great! She was very kind, sweet, and attentive. I actually had to tell her myself that it was my birthday, and once she knew, she did what was necessary to acknowledge it and make the occasion feel a little more special. I really appreciated her for that. The food was good as well. I didn't end up trying any of their cocktails, which is unusual for me, especially during a birthday dinner. By that point, the overall experience just hadn't put me in the celebratory mood I had expected when I chose Yvonne's for the occasion. Maybe my expectations were higher because this was somewhere I'd wanted to visit for so long, but hospitality matters to me, especially at an establishment like this. Amanda helped turn things around, and the food was good, but the overall experience still left me disappointed. Will I come back? I'm honestly unsure.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. While the kitchen delivered a solid meal, the service was so profoundly disappointing that it completely overshadowed the food. The culinary side of things easily earns a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. We ordered a wide variety of items to share, and the highlights included: * The Pizzas: Creative flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality toppings and fantastic crusts. * The Bucatini Pasta: Perfectly cooked and packed with rich flavor. * The Asparagus Appetizer & The Chicken Milanese: Both executed well, flavorful, and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was uniformly horrible. For a large party, hospitality can make or break the night, and our server missed the mark at every single turn: * Argumentative & Dismissive: He actively argued with our host regarding an appetizer that had been ordered in advance. When asked about vegetarian substitutions for a sold-out pasta dish, he curtly replied, "Pasta with butter is all we can do"--despite the fact that we could clearly see a wide variety of fresh vegetables being used right on their pizzas. * Inattentive: Dirty dishes piled up on our table, and when we politely asked for them to be cleared, he claimed he needed to get help and walked away completely empty-handed. Our drink orders were rarely checked on or refilled. * Rude to Guests: He displayed visible attitude and put-off body language whenever anyone asked a simple question. This peaked when he was outright rude to one of the young women in our party who simply wanted to put her order in a bit early because she had to leave before the rest of the group. It is a real shame because the ingredients and the kitchen's output are genuinely good. However, between the hostile attitude and the lack of basic service standards, we unfortunately won't be rushing back.
