I got the cheese slice, and a fried chicken breast. The chicken was crispy and greasy, as I had expected. The pizza could've used a flavorful sauce. For takeout, the Pizza is great IMO. Slices to go are healthy portions that take up a whole plate but dont reheat the best. However prices keep rising and just make the cost not worth it. A 2 slices and can of coke special that used to be $7.50 is now like $11.99. A cheese pizza that used be $13.99 is now $18 after taxes(while still not that expensive compared to others). Which just makes it feel like taking advantage of loyal customers. During Covid this would have made sense, years and years after, not so much. read more

I'm gonna jump on here and say that Supreme serves MY favorite pizza in the Back Bay area. Robbie the owner and his 2 regular employees has always been friendly to me. I lived behind the place for a year, so we got to know each other well. I've had supreme at every hour of the day, consistency is definitely a weak spot, but overall it's always a good quick stop for lunch. The restaurant can be a little dirty sometimes but who cares. Pretty good lunch crowd every time I stop by. Try to avoid going around 12:00pm, that's usually when all the construction workers are there and it's usually hard to find a seat at that time. Best time to visit is after 1:30pm. The Slices are huge and filling. Their fried chicken is pretty good too. But don't go there expecting good NY slice Pizza like they advertise. It's OK at best. if you want a quick slice pizza this place is FINE. it's not terrible, but it's also not great. a bit expensive for a single slice, it'll run you about ~$5 depending on if they decide to give you your tip money back (they didn't). while i was putting some parm and pepper on my pizza my nose burned like crazy and idk what was up with that. anyway, service is okay, there was a hair in my friend's pizza. and the ambiance is just your everyday pizza shop. i'd come here again as a last option, or maybe for a cheeky slice. idk make up your own opinion i'm just a random girl on the internet. read more

Good place to go to after coming home from a bar, since its pretty much the only thing up late in the area (2AM). The pizzas are thin and the very subpar in the flavor. They do give you a lot of pizza though since it takes up two paper plates for a single slice ($4.21). Make sure to bring some cash if you do want to order from here and want a single slice. They wont accept debit or credit unless you reach a minimum amount, which I normally reach with 2 slices. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if you're in the area and nothing is open, go for it. read more

I would be lying if I said a perfectly sharp memory of being here. Supreme was the last stop after a long night out before heading back to the hotel. The line moved quickly and the prices were good. The shop itself is about the same size as most city pizza joints. It's in a good place downtown near a bunch of bars and clubs. Ended up ordering a slice of cheese and a slice of buffalo chicken. Both were indescribable. The buffalo chicken might have been the best I've had. The chicken was the good, the drizzling of blue cheese was a plus and both that and the cheese were cooked to perfection and fresh. The slices are also like really big!! I was very satisfied and it was the perfect stop before heading back for the night. Will be coming back when I return to Boston this summer! read more

The pizza quality here is actually pretty comparable to your run of the mill, satisfying NY slice. I mean that in the best way possible: a decent margherita slice might be pretty easy to find on any random corner of the Upper West Side, but it seems that most higher-quality pizza places in Boston are too gourmet and avant-garde for quotidian cravings. Most other pizza places selling NY style slices in Boston are simply bad (I'm looking at you, Chicago Pizza on Mass Av). We placed a large catering order for about a dozen pizzas, including some margherita pies, as well as a few NY white, veggie and pesto chicken pies for good measure. NY white was probably my favorite of the bunch. The catering was right on time and accurate, so no complaints there. read more

I still have fond memories of walking through the Christian Science Plaza.. sitting by the reflecting pool and occasionally, when my Aunt would look away, dipping the tips of my fingers into the glossy water to feel the cool against my skin. Then we'd go down the street and buy calzone from this great little place that my nose would detect from 10 meters away. Pavlov had it right. Back then, I looked forward to calzone days like I did presents from faraway lands and Crunch bars. Supreme Pizza was my crack, and anyone who'd bring the goods back home my supplier, on whom my dependency (which back then was called love) would increase with each bite.. and slowly decrease again until the next calzone they brought me. I should've known, just as Crunch bars have stopped tasting so good, that there was a possibility that my love for this fatty drug may have also evaporated with the molding of standards, ideals, and personal preferences that came with experience... I should've known that something was amiss as I stood 1 meter away, waiting for the smell that stood me up, the mouth-watering anticipation that never came... Disappointment greeted me with a cold stare. The calzone was gooey, flavorless, and just plain awful. Although I can't say that Supreme Pizza lives up to its name, their service is fairly consistent for a decade. Nothing stands out in their menu, nothing unusual or special. It's just basic. Plainly basic menu of common pizza parlor. Their pizza and sub can't make me go "Mm! Mmm!". But it definitely can make me lean back on the chair, rub my stomach and sing "Like a rock...!"(GM truck jingle) to praise the heaviness in my stomach. Was I satisfied? Yes. Did I regret? Yes. I went to this place near the Berklee College of Music with a friend to grab a couple of slices, since we were craving for some pizza. Walking inside, this place looks like a really typical American pizza place from the 1970s or 1980s. My friend got a sausage pizza, while I got a Meat Lover's. The Meat Lover's Pizza consisted of sausage, pepperoni, and bacon as the toppings. The total for the two slices came out as $5.85, which is a somewhat decent price. My pizza was not great, but okay. Pizza was fairly oily, but not too greasy. I thought that they did not put much cheese and tomato sauce, which gave some blandness to the pizza. Pepperoni lacked flavor, sausages tasted okay, and bacon had some crispiness. As for the crust, it was nice and chewy on the inside, but thought it was slightly stale. My friend did not like her sausage pizza that much. The good thing about this place is that it is open until 2:00 AM and it's near Newbury Street and a good walking distance from the Symphony Hall, so it's not a bad choice for pizza after a night out in the city. Overall, despite that it is open late at night, it's not high on my recommendations for pizza, but it's not a bad choice for a few adequate and passable slices. read more

I am OBSESSED with the pizza here. By far my favorite place in Boston. It is SO crispy and delicious. It's that kind of pizza that you hold up and it doesn't flop over from being soggy - even when it's loaded with buffalo chicken (their best type, in my opinion).
