This review is following a long night shift at the hospital. All I gotta say is nurses gotta eat and that food on night shift has to be top tier because we're already fighting our brains and bodies to stay awake and keep our patients alive. Always get the 8-count (or more if you're sharing), but seriously the batter they use is always crispy, nicely seasoned and salted and ALWAYS crispy. The chicken is perfectly salted EVERY time. I'm telling you I've ordered these babies so many times and the quality is top tier every time. I stand by what I said...the BEST chicken fingers I'ver EVER had. Also, get their honey mustard. Never would have thought this would work, but wow it's so good! They use the same delicious homemade pizza dough to start and top it with their Alfredo Sauce, grilled chicken and broccoli. It truly is such a surprisingly good combo, it's not too saucy, just enough that it is obviously an Alfredo sauce based pizza, their chicken is ALWAYS moist and that broccoli is fresh, with a slight crunch that you only get with fresh, not frozen broccoli with a slight char from the cooking process. Buffalo chicken pizza! That's is all. I'm not sure what it is about the pizza, It just works!. For years we always ordered there during late night nursing shifts at the hospital. They never disappoint on any of the menu items. You also get a good portion of food every time. And for a reasonable price. The Food also arrives quickly. I used to order delivery from Il Mondo for work events at least 2x a month, so I think I've been a patron at least 30 times. It's probably the best fast food pizza / sandwich place in the area, in my opinion. Now that I no longer work in the area, I actually crave their buffalo chicken wraps and mushroom pizza! I've never visited their storefront but have never really had major problems with online ordering directly from their website. I have to admit, sometimes the order is slightly off (it's probably happened like 3 or 4 times) where they forget to bring an item, forget the chicken on a salad, or give me a pizza with slightly different toppings on it. However, everytime I've called back and tell them about the mix-up, they've been able to refund the missing item or come back with the right item. I don't think their salads are worth the value (it's a lot of lettuce and minimal other toppings) but they certainly are huge! I also got the pasta once and thought it was very gummy. I would stick with their pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and dinners. I would suggest that if you order delivery (or even takeout) to open up the boxes right away to make sure they're correct! read more
