For our two Cairyn…read moreterrier mix pups, we started with Beaus this spring after an unsuccessful search for kind, competent, and dog loving groomer(s). These people fit the bill in a big way. Our two babies come out with their pretty bows on, looking really fine. The cuts were just right and one dog, Starbucks, was so impressed with herself, that it's funny how she perched like a sphinx on the back seat!. They have been patient with our crazy schedules, often getting mixed up, and a couple of big illnesses this past May. They also do just about any reasonable request, such as medical soap shampoos (Starbucks has bad skin allergies, we bring the soap, of course). They are always on time with pickups and they do extremely well with handling us, the always worried and ever- calling parents! In short, if you want your dog to have grooming done by someone who actually likes your pup, and gives it hugs and is kind too--this is the place to get wet!

The lady said she knew what to do so I trusted her. The office smelled like cigarettes and I was a little nervous leaving her there.... but we did anyway against our better judgement. We went back at 1:30 to pick our girl up and she was SO ready to go. As a pomeranian she loves getting pampered and always enjoys the groomer but this time she just wanted to leave, she was whining the whole time it took us to pay. As for the "grooming"... her hair was a LOT shorter, she has the teddy bear cut now, though they didn't take anything off of her tail and it didn't even look like they really brushed it. The hair around her face is all jagged and uneven, they missed a big patch on the back of her neck, her ears weren't cleaned up AT ALL.... it just looks awful. And she smelled SO strongly of cologne...Later when we got home she got in my lap and I still smelled "dog smell" on her so I took a big sniff and under ALL that cologne was dirty dog smell. They didn't even bathe her! Her fur was bone dry and didn't feel conditioned at all so I am 99% sure they didn't bathe her. AND I know they didn't trim her nails. Definitely NOT worth $43 dollars for a jacked up haircut and no bath! I was hoping Bobbie O's would be great so I wouldn't have to drive across town to take her to Beau's anymore but looks like I will be. I am SO not going back.

When I received Grizzly post tidy up he was shaking, still wet, and digging his claws into me. Once home I had to blow dry him myself only to discover he had 2 cuts. One inside of his ear and another on his inner leg. I expected a tidy trim but he had been completely shaved from belly button down and his entire tail hair had been cut off into a stub instead of trimmed. The groomer nor front desk associate mentioned anything and when I called to speak with management, I was told they would call back. It's now been 2 days with no returned call or concern for their negligence. $170 later and my dog has an uneven and unattractive underbelly and backside, shorter ear fluff (when we never asked for this to be cut) and trauma from being nicked in the process. For the price you can go somewhere that will actually care for your fur baby and communicate when things don't go as planned.
