I went in for a classic pedicure and asked for her to file my nails and change the color, that's it! The technician was nice so I feel bad leaving this review, but the way she removed the gel from my toes was awful! She filed it down, put acetone and let it sit for a bit. Then she proceeded to peel off the old gel and tore the corner of my nail OFF. She then proceeded to say I had thin nails! I've been getting gel pedicures for a while now and NEVER has anyone tore a piece of my nail OFF! As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! There was one lady too that came by and was just talking to the technician who did my nails and the vibe just felt uncomfortable! I will never return!

I just called to book a mani and pedi separately and this is something I've done before and was met with attitude. I understand Fridays are busy but the tone was rude and dismissive. When I agreed to just a manicure the response was a sarcastic "thank you." First impressions are the reveal and this one said everything. If this is how repeat customers are treated over the phone it's clear long term business isn't a priority. They've lost a customer and I won't be recommending this place to anyone.

When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. After my longtime salon, "Hello Birdie in North Park", closed its doors on June 30 after 11 wonderful years, I found myself needing a new place in a pinch. My nails had over three weeks of growth, and with an upcoming conference, it was definitely time for a refresh. I was paired with Crystal, and she was fantastic! She was friendly, attentive, and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. She even took a photo of the nail design I showed her, recreated it on one nail first, and asked for my feedback before continuing. I suggested one small tweak to make it my own, and she perfected it before moving on to the rest. Once we had the design just right, it was smooth sailing from there. The entire appointment took about 60 minutes, which I really appreciated, and the pricing was very reasonable and comparable to what I was paying at my previous salon. The salon itself was clean, bright, and inviting. The only adjustment for me was that it was busier than I'm used to. Having come from a smaller boutique salon with just a few nail artists, the weekend crowd felt a bit more bustling than my preference. Next time, I'll probably book a weekday appointment when it's a little quieter. This review is long overdue!…read more I've been going to Twinkle Nails for over a year now, and I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else. I always book with Thi, and she is absolutely fantastic. No matter what design, color combination, or random inspiration photo I bring her, she executes it flawlessly every single time. I've attached a few photos of some of the sets she's done for me over the past year because her work really speaks for itself. One thing that always impresses me is how healthy my natural nails have stayed. These are my real nails, and I only get gel manicures, so I can't personally speak to acrylics or some of the other nail services they offer. What I can say is that my nails consistently look amazing, last well, and receive compliments all the time. I've also had pedicures here and they've always done a great job. I don't have one specific technician I regularly see for those, but I've never had a bad experience
