The food was good. The drinks were lit! The ambiance was really nice. It was a little loud that night because somebody was having a birthday party, but it was a great spot for a date night and we really enjoyed it. Our server was very attentive!

Went for a birthday celebration on a Thursday evening. It was not crowded. We were greeted and sat almost immediately. We ordered drinks and empanadas. I ordered a raspberry lemon drop. It was fabulous. The empanadas were very delicious. The crust was light and flaky and the filling was quite tasty. I also ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco. Both were very tasty but quite small. The potato wedges were great as well. The comeback sauce had a bit of a kick but good. All of our food was very very good but service was EXTREMELY slow. It was surprising because they were not crowded. At one point it took about 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar. Meanwhile the bartender was on his phone and chit chatting with others. This was the only drawback. I definitely will go back but if we have the same service issue, that will be a wrap.

I was on vacation and my friends suggested going to this small quaint restaurant on what to me was Resturant Row. Our waitress seemed to be new, but it didn't change the fact that the food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome.

I went here with my colleagues for lunch and I am glad I did. This is a new and nice hidden gem for Memphians to enjoy a quiet lunch, Sunday brunch, or dinner on any given night. We started out with the steak rolls, shrimp tacos, and guacamole. The steak rolls are some of the best I have had. The are flavorful, the meat is tender, and it has just enough cheese. The dipping sauces makes them even better. The shrimp tacos are light and hit the spot. Oh and the quac...a must try! On to lunch! I had the cob salad and added a piece of salmon. It was delicious. It was loaded with Romaine Lettuce, Bacon, Fresh Cheese, Tomato, Avocado, Egg, Onion. The salmon was cooked just right. It was a nice portion and loaded with just the right amount of spices and herbs. I would definitely try that again. I am looking forward to going back!

Great ambiance. Popped in with a friend to lounge and catch up before heading out of town. We had both already eaten, so we sat on a couch and grabbed a few drinks and dessert. Service, drinks, atmosphere, & dessert were great. Can't wait to come back and try out an entree.

Finally had a chance to visit and was not disappointed. It rare that you dine at a restaurant and everything is good. We all know the area has limited parking so walking a short distance might occur. Thankfully, I was able to find a spot on the lot. We arrived at 4pm and it wasn't very crowded. We were promptly seated. The interior has a lot of vibrant designs. Photo walls, photos mirror areas and a nice large wall decor make for easy social media content. Everyone seemed to be deepening conversation while enjoying great food and cocktails. I will say this was by far the fastest service I've had while dining out in a while. Cocktail #1: Lavender lemon drop martini. This one has a perfect flavor balance and gradually kicks in. Appetizer #1: crispy calamari. The sweet pepper jelly has a subtle spice and really compliments the well seasoned calamari. Grilled veggies are a nice addition. Appetizer #2: steak egg rolls were so good. Appetizer #3: short rib empanadas; packed with flavor Appetizer #4: fries. Nice and hot Cocktail #2: 1530 Margarita: packs a nice little punch. Entrees: sliders these little jokers are thick and juicy. Honorable mention cocktails Good vibes and the spicy Paloma. These are also highly recommended.

Such a cute and underrated Latin fusion spot in Memphis! The atmosphere is super eclectic, artsy, and chill. For appetizer we got the short rib empanadas, which were packed with tender, flavorful meat and paired perfectly with the sauce, plus crispy calamari with a sweet pepper jelly sauce that was so good. I also loved the Hibiscus Paloma, it was super refreshing with the perfect balance of tequila and grapefruit flavor. For tacos, I tried the fried shrimp, steak tip, and grilled redfish tacos. The fried shrimp was definitely my favorite because of how crispy it was with the chipotle sauce. Overall, everything was flavorful, the vibes were great, will def be back!

Four friends ate at Pop Spot for the first time. We enjoyed it, the food was solid and wait staff very attentive. Photographs of the four dishes are attached. An interesting menu, photo attached. We did not drink alcoholic beverages at this lunch outing. My two grilled fish soft tacos were fine, but not spectacular, small though and I completed one in three bites. I will try something different next time. The ambience of the restaurant was fine, though loud enough for my young colleagues to notice. The other meals, a chicken sandwich, steak salad, and 3 beef sliders were enjoyed and would be ordered again. The french fries were crispy and fresh. Overall, our group enjoyed this lunch and staff was able to get the food out fairly quickly. So eating in an hours time is possible. I will give this review of 4.5 if it was available.

This spot is simply lovely and a nice evening out. A party of two, we stopped by on a Monday evening just before the dinner crowd, around 6p. We were greeted and immediately seated and a waitress came over shortly after. She was nice and helpful with menu options. The monster burger waa full of ingredients but no real standout flavor or overall taste. The steak eggrolls alone are enough to come for. The cocktails were good but the fries were the actual star of the show. They were so good. The smash burger was good after I put the patties on white bread. The potato buns are way too think for the thinner patties. Overall vibe was great for a pop in for dinner then head home spot for sure. I love that they sell tacos individually so they will be fresh instead a set amount already. Price point was on par with other neighborhood places. Definitely stop by and check them out!

A new spot that I found out about 30 mins before I visited. I ordered the steak rolls and short rib empanadas. And I really liked both. Especially the sauces that accompanied each. The bar was pretty busy but the bartender Jacosta was able to handle it. The ambiance was relaxed with a slight upscale flair. I will return to experience more items.

This newish hidden gem is delicious! Located in the rear of Brookhaven Circle, doors down from Brookhaven Pub, the Pop Spot serves up decadent twists on all-time favorites. Our servers were fantastic, especially considering they were caring for every table in the house. The short rib and macaroni and cheese were our favorites, along with the calamari. The squid pueces were tiny but the bites were mighty! It was a nice little starter for three people. I liked the salad I had, despite the fact I don't like arugula, which kind of amazed me. My husband's margaritas were excellent and fresh. Maybe top 5 ever, and we are fairly frequent margarita drinkers. The space itself is minimally decorated with pop art on the center dividing wall. Parking was typical to Brookhaven Circle. We got a space in the front parking lot but it was very tight getting out. I recommend giving this place a try! We will absolutely be back!

This is a super cool place off the beaten path. It's truly unique with art and eclectic furniture and would make a great date night spot. The service was on point and the food was sooooo good!

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.

The restaurant has a really neat vibe and is decorated better than most of the restaurants in the memphis area. We came at 5:00 on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately without reservations, but when we left, they did have a small wait to get a table. We started with the pimento cheese toastie which was garlic bread with melty pimento cheese on top. We both really enjoyed it. I decided on the filet with peppercorn sauce. I asked for it it to be butterflied. My steak was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of pink and it sliced like butter. I got the peppercorn sauce on the side and used it for a dipping sauce. I really liked the sauce, but it is really peppery. While I loved it, some might find it a little spicy. My husband had the bourbon glazed porterhouse pork chop. His was cooked perfectly fly as well and was super tender. Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!

I didn't want them to make it a third time because it took so long to remake it originally that everyone else had already eaten and my wife had shared hers. When I did eat it, the burger was dry. I asked for medium but you couldn't see any red to it like you should for medium. Pretzel bread didn't have a taste to it and I expected it to taste different. I've had better burgers at fast food places. I was able to eat the tater tots while waiting for the burger. They were not good. They were either overly salted or oil they were being fried in needed to be replaced. They were crunchy all throughout instead of just the outer crust. Maybe the oil was the wrong temp or they were just overcooked.
