The Porch is a gem. Lots going on in that place. Recently remodeled and plenty of character from the huge porch to the unique utilization of rooms. Friendly quick service and high quality food. You can place your order many ways. Today we used the QR code available at our table. The app was easy to use, allowed for order modifications and payment. I liked the system, very innovative. We both had smash burgers. Kids smash burger with sweet potato fries and the 1/2 lb smash burger with jalapeño poppers. Burgers were cooked perfectly and came on what looked like a homemade bun. Toppings table was available for fixings. Can't think of one thing that would have made our meals better. We topped the visit off with small cups of ice cream. The owner visited our table several times. It was fun to see her interact with customers and have so much fun doing it. The product was very good, the prices were fare and the service was superb. When we go there we always have their double patty Smash Burgers with the crumble bacon is amazing!!!! It's the best burger in Prairie Du Chien. You will not be disappointed. The ordering is a bit confusing you can either scan the qr code or order at the register. Then sit at any open table inside or outside and wait(not sure if you order online if you need to go grab a number at the register tho so they can find you?). Comfortable open atmosphere, excellent yet inexpensive food, and some of the nicest people you would ever hope to meet. Owned and operated by a retired teacher and her husband. Absolutely charming. Nice place for a smash burger, fries and ice cream too. Service was great once we knew that we order at the front by the ice cream counter. Then find a seat and they bring your food. We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. Food was yummy and hot. We sat on the front porch- nice day and several TV's too. We ordered the build your own, supreme style pizza and seriously one of the best! The people were extremely friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy. The ambiance is relaxing.
