    Cobb Salad
    Christina L.

I was oh-so-lucky to eat 3 dishes here in 12 hours (ah, the joys of work travel and never leaving the hotel). While this would certainly not be my restaurant of choice, the food was at least edible, or at least 2 of the 3 dishes that I ordered. You can also order food until midnight at the bar, which is always a Godsend when you have a late flight. Ranch Chopped Cobb ($12) - A little expensive for a salad, but it was tasty. The bacon, avocado, and dressing probably negate the healthiness of the salad, but how can you say no to bacon - it makes everything more delicious. All in all, a solid and delicious salad. I'd get this again. Arugula Shaved Fennel & Beets ($11) - 1 star for this salad - it had arugula, candied walnuts, feta cheese, beets, and a vinaigrette. Far too healthy, and way too "healthy-tasting". It was like I had dumped a bag of slightly old and too bitter arugula on a plate, added a few nuts and dressing, and charged $11. That's what I get for trying to eat healthy - pass on this. Chicken Quesadilla - You can't go too wrong with this: chicken, cheese, and tortilla - probably not the healthiest, but after my inedible salad (see my comments about the arugula salad), this tasted so good. The quesadilla came out hot, the cheese was melty, and they didn't skimp on the chicken. Stick to the Ranch Chopped Cobb salad and Chicken Quesadilla. I'll probably be back here again for work, and would get these 2 dishes again. It wouldn't be my restaurant / meal of choice, but if you don't have very many options, it works.

A little wine and a delicious desert

The food is soggy and it took 30 minutes for them to just take our order. They proceeded to serve people at the bar but ignored us.

Service stood out over food. Service was top notch for weary travelers, food was merely fuel.

We were here for a convention so this was a convenient place to eat. We waited a long time for our food and it was just okay.

We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.

I've switched up the ham to their bacon which is delicious! Thick cut, crispy and tons of it! I also recommend getting an extra side of hollandaise because it's THAT good! Kids miniature chocolate chip pancakes are filling and pretty large. Dine-in they have kids cute coloring page and yummy hot coco! I wish there were more booth seating available, the hard wooden chairs are not that comfy. - Small waiting area in front and outdoors - outdoor seating when it's nice out - online ordering avail for easy pickup and delivery (by 3rd party) - share parking lot but usually pretty full, overflow in Whole Foods lot avail - you can now reserve tables! The place itself was clean, neat, and not very large. We ordered the regular eggs Benedict (around $21) and the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict (around $30). Between the two, I definitely preferred the chicken and waffle Benedict. It was more savory, whereas the regular eggs Benedict also savory but came with a red sauce that was surprisingly sweet when I was expecting something more traditional and savory. Overall, I would come here for a special occasion, as the price point feels a bit high for what you get. You can definitely find a similar eggs Benedict elsewhere for cheaper. That said, I do recommend trying the green hot sauce they have. I thought it paired really well and tasted better with the dish.
