I was worried about trying this location out because of some negative reviews, but it was right next to my hotel, so I took a chance. I was very happily surprised. Service was very friendly and attentive on a busy Friday night. Employees were upbeat and smiling. Tables and floors were clean, and the place had a good bustling energy. While the food took some time to come out, the server would come by proactively to reassure us it was getting worked on. I was also shocked to see a $13 meal deal that was valid on a Friday night. I got a double smashburger with no bun and no lettuce, plus fries and a mini dessert for only $13. What? Wow! The burger came exactly as I asked and all was delicious. Ordered 2 burgers and fries with an order of sliders.. The all- american burger had cheese on it when we asked for no cheese. The other cheeseburger was supposed to be well done but seemed to be medium/medium rare. sliders seemed to be ok. All had fries but they were mediocre at best. Came here recently with 2 friends and the drinks were really good and refreshing on a nice warm summer day. The vibe was nice and chill inside with a lot of TVs so people can watch the games on. We were able to be seated immediately without a reservation which was lucky since it was definitely busy. I would recommend making a reservation. The service was quick, efficient, and accommodating to our order which was great. We ordered the avocado egg rolls as an appetizer to split which was delicious. This place feels as much like a chain as a restaurant can, complete with a menu of way too many items. I went with the All-American Smash Burger. I was surprised how good it was. Too many pickles (yes that is a thing) but the meat was delicious. The fries unfortunately kinda suck. The service was friendly but slow. My husband and I are frequent flyers at Bjs on the weekend. Most times Liz is our bartender and as usual she is phenomenal and many times we have also had Erica and we can't say enough wonderful things about them while Liz was out on vacation. Stephanie was the bartender and we absolutely loved her and cannot say enough good things about her. She is so sweet and kind and so attentive to the patrons today we were able to meet Madeline, who was also absolutely incredible, very kind and attentive. We are very impressed with the bartending staff at Bjs hence why we come back time after time you should be very proud. read more

Had one of their take out deep dish pizza's tonight. It looked pretty good in their pictures and even the pie I got looked decent before eating it. Unfortunately it was not good. Crust was super soggy, almost raw on the bottom. Veggies were ice cold and completely raw...I mean not even cooked at all. I hate to be harsh but the rest of the toppings all tasted like they were from a cheap frozen pizza and void of any flavor. I picked up a slice and it fell completely apart. I had 2 very messy slices and threw the rest right in the garbage. Such a waste of money. read more

Had a wonderful experience during my recent visit. We went for dinner, the atmosphere was warm & cozy and the wait time was minimal--a great start to the evening. Our host was attentive, checking in on us a few times to ensure we had a great dining experience. I ordered the BJ's Kickin' Chicken Sandwich, substituting crispy chicken with grilled chicken, and my friend got the California Chicken Club. The fries were perfectly crispy and not too greasy. I like that the sauces were served on the side rather than in the sandwich, giving me full control over the spice level. Their drinks and pizookie menu looked really interesting--I'll definitely be trying those on my next visit! read more

I preface this by saying I worked in the hospitality industry for many years so I know what it takes to do that job day in and day out. I had an amazing experience at my most recent visit to Bj's. I went in by myself for a solo lunch and sat at the bar. Erika was the bartender. She was incredibly kind throughout my visit, she was helpful and polite to her coworkers and she was completely professional during my entire stay-- she didn't ignore customers for side conversations or playing on her phone. My food arrived, brought by who I found out was AGM James-- and I experienced the same kinda attitude. He was happy to delivery my meal, asked if I needed anything else, brought me an additional condiment, and ensured again I was all set. These may seem like small gestures, or something you may not even notice, but as I worked these jobs before, I look out for the stand out employees that truly understand hospitality and providing an amazing experience-- even just for a burger. In fact, this review is less about the food (which was really good-- wings and sliders) and more about the professional service. In the world we live in, phones always in our hands, a different work ethic from the younger generations, so many distractions, it was so refreshing to see people taking pride in their work and the tone they set for the restaurant. We tried to have a family dinner at BJ's. We had a 6:30 reservation, and a little after 7:30, they gave our table to another large party. Literally everyone person that was there while we waited got seated. We finally left at 7:45 since the manager wouldn't even come to talk to us, after we requested to see him. So make that 18 empty tables or booths but a 15 minute wait. It's 6:04. I highly doubt they have 18 reservations that are either late or scheduled to walk in at 6:30. We popped in for a quick bite to eat after a night of fun at Level99. There were 4 of us in our group. We were quickly shown to a table. After some waiting our server came to greet us and take our drink order. Then after about 10 minutes another server brought and drinks and then informed us that she would be taking over our table, along with her trainee. I ordered a Steakhouse Wedge Salad, steak cooked medium rare. One of the others at our table ordered the Avocado Egg rolls, to share. Our food arrived pretty quickly and everything tasted wonderful. The avocado egg rolls were good, but nothing extra special, they definitely need the sauce they are served with. The steak was cooked perfectly and my salad was very fresh and tasted great. While the transition from our initial server to our new server was annoying, our new server was wonderful and she was very personable and friendly. I did visit the mens restroom and well it needed some attention. I would comeback, but I am not going out of my way to come back. read more

I found this place as it was very close to a hotel I was staying at. This is a regular, your average style american type of food. It is also a chain. I came here for lunch on a Monday and It was not crowded at all what soever. The space is huge and has a very nice and spacious bar area. I sat at the bar. The waitress who helped me was very nice, talkative and answered any and all questions I had. She also, took my allergies seriously. They have many different beers on tap. I tried a few of them they all were very good. I had a grilled chicken sand which with cheese, avocado, bacon, tomatoes and lettuce. The bread was very crispy and a bit buttery which I like. The bacon was cooked perfectly just how I like it. I had it with fries. The fries to me were just ehh. Maybe a but too salty for me, I don't know cant put my finger on it. If I am by one of these places as this is a chain I would come back but I wouldn't go out of my way to come to one. read more

I've been a fan of BJ's for years in California (when I lived there). I was thrilled when they opened in MA. The food is usually very good. And a visit today just reinforced my belief. The prices are just above average, but reasonable. One problem I saw today... no more Tri-Tip on the menu. While in CA I got a taste of it, but back east it's not the most popular cut. The staff paid attention and brought refills without us needing to ask. Overall, very good service. I see a lot of mediocre revires here but I really like the place. It's an hour drive from NH but we'll worth it in my book. read more

I felt compelled to write a review for BJ's restaurant sake....Friday...March 13, we were a party of 2x couples....headed to the bar just for a drink....around 9:30 pm, we sat at the bar just talking...there were 4 to 5 people bartending...or so at least i thought all of them were bartending....they seemed to be agitated at something....not one smile on all of them.....after 15 mins, i got the attention of one of the lady bartender and we ordered our drinks.....mixed drinks for our wife's and black and tan for the guys......i can tell she was irked by the black and tan...it shows in her face....not a smile at all.....she comes back with the mixed drinks and immediately looks at us raising her hands and saying "I only have two hands" she said she will bring the beers shortly.....i wonder what prompted her to say that? we were not rushing her or anything.......she said it with an aggressive demeanor.....we finish our drinks and paid the tab...we gave a 10 dollar tip and when she looked at our tip....she punched the register...slams the register door and walks away........about 10 mins later, a guy who is her assistant goes to us and ask us if we needed any more drinks....with an aggressive demeanor......i tell you...the vibe that night was off putting, everyone at the bar was very un-professional....THEY DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE THAT NIGHT......was the message......Management, pls talk to your crew, its not an easy job but you have to be professional about it.....everyday.....that crew needs to be warned at least....if they cannot handle the stress, they need to find another line of work..... read more

Not sure what's up with all the bad reviews. Had the honey buffalo wings and they were delicious. Also grabbed a Hefeweizen beer which was good. My daughter got some chicken tenders and fries which were also good. We grabbed a cookie ice cream dessert to finish it off. Service was very attentive and friendly and the place was spotless. This place started out so strong when it first opened and now it's a disaster. Management definitely sucks because no well run restaurant should keep having the same issues over and over. Placed an order through DoorDash today. Received the wrong drink entirely. Shrimp dish I ordered was only half full and the bread that came with it was stale, not to mention the shrimp was totally lacking flavor. They also were behind in the kitchen (as usual) so one dasher had to leave because it was taking so long. Probably won't be back. Very unfortunate because I liked the menu. read more

I really don't like giving bad reviews but our experience here was less than stellar. The cocktails were good and some of the food was okay. The onion rings tasted like Funyons in my opinion. The restrooms were beyond nasty and very much neglected. No paper, filthy floors, I will end there because you might lose your appetite. Our waiter was someone I would expect at Dick's Last Resort...or maybe that is the vibe and we just weren't getting it. The final straw of the evening was when he assumed my husband was my daughter's grandfather and called him gramps. Yeah, that didn't sit well. If you like decent drinks and less than mediocre food then this is your place. Bring your own TP and paper towels. read more
