I'm always looking for small, hidden, mom & pop feeling coffee shops and The Pour Station has that feel. When I walked in I was warmly welcomed and after finding out that they make their cold brew in house with their in house purified water I was sold on that. The cold brew is very, very smooth just like it should be and is a good fit for anyone who likes to drink coffee. No need to add any sweetener or cream. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who had a pleasing personality and even let me fill my flask to try the water. Having great water significantly improves the coffee brewing process and since they have a filtration system set up in the back, they are beautifully equipped to provide wonderful water and coffee, one in the same. I highly suggest you come by and give the water and coffee a try. There is a lot of good things going on here. I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but there's no way around it on this one. My coworker and I went in at 9:30ish on a Monday. We walked in and there was one young girl behind the counter who ignored our smiles and "good mornings" and just kept wiping things down. My coworker found a trinket for sale and put it up at the register and we waited about 5 minutes for that girl to come over. We did a couple of coughs and gestures to show we were ready. She made eye contact with us several times but never said a word. After about 10-15 minutes of being blatantly ignored we left. They advertise the best chai in town and I'd have to say that they succeed, it is totally the best sweet chai I've had this side of Holbrook. Also, dogs are welcome inside which is great because we like to sit and read/write/work while we enjoy our beverages. We were just here for our morning coffee before hitting the road out of town, using the drive thru. The female worker was rather rude and was very cold. When I asked to see the large iced cup size, she sighs and rolls her eyes. I was willing to just let it go but once our drinks were ready she gave more of the cold service. We could say "it was early" "she was busy" but the feeling while there made us uncomfortable, we were tempted to just leave and go elsewhere. I'm all for small businesses but when the workers act as if you (the customer) are inconveniencing them, then I'll take my business elsewhere. read more
