The food was pretty good. I've heard great things about this place so I was really sad it didn't live up to expectations. I manage a bar and am pretty understanding with service and drinks but the black hair young girl bartender made me the absolute worst margarita I've ever had and never asked us how our food or drinks were. She was nice but definitely inexperienced the service was pretty awful. We got ignored for the first 15 minutes. It was just a weird experience and paying $25 when it didn't even taste anything close to what it was supposed to be is crazy. I have no idea what she did to the "margarita" but it was super sweet and horrible. There was also no salt rim which was on the menu :( I'll probably try it again if I get the opportunity. Probably just a bad one off day.

    Chicken Sandwich on pretzel bun
    Tyler T.

Price - $20-30 per person Stopped by here for a quick lunch before my flight home. I got a spicy chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with chips. The sandwich was really good but it was a pretty big. I felt like taking a nap after eating that meal which worked out great for the flight home. The restaurant does feel like you are in a UK pub in the middle of an American airport. Staff was friendly and took care of us in a timely manner. If you are at the airport looking for a bite to eat or to get a drink or two, this would be a good place to stop at.

    Classic Wedge Salad

Classic Wedge Salad -- exactly what you'd hope for when you're on the road and craving something familiar. Crisp iceberg, generous toppings (plenty of bacon, blue cheese, tomatoes, and crunchy fried onions), and a creamy chive buttermilk dressing that pulls it all together. Nothing fancy, just solid and satisfying. Comfort food in salad form.

Tennent's Scottish Lager on draft! Brilliant!
    Steve M.

It's an airport pub. A tall boy of Tennent's Scottish Lager cost $10, so not too bad. Craft selections might cost a wee bit more. Like the name states, it looks and feels like a dark, cozy English pub. Service is fantastic. A good place to stop and wet your whistle with an airport beer

We always arrive at the airport early and sit down for breakfast. The Pub looked inviting with an English style interior. You seat yourself and the menu can be pulled up on your phone. We were there for breakfast and there are only 3 choices, but they worked fine for us. Our server was super friendly and attentive and even brewed us a fresh pot of decaf coffee. You have a choice of a breakfast sandwich, an omelet, or eggs and bacon. I opted for over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns and an English muffin. Food arrived in under 10 minutes and was hot and exactly what I ordered. Our server continued to ask if we needed anything and was prompt about bringing the check. Would definitely stop again if at this airport.

I want them to be crispy on the outside with a mouthful of chicken in each bite and they were just that. The lemon pepper sauce was very salty, but I love salt and vinegar chips so I was prepared. You won't even be able to stand. As for my other visit, it was on a Friday night. A nice sized crowd, full bar. Sports game on the television. A nice atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.

The Rowley Inn is located in a nice neighborhood (Tremont) across the street from the Christmas Story house. I had three meals there. The first, loaded pierogis, was the ultimate comfort dish. Pierogis with potato centers were covered in diced kielbasa, bacon (yes, bacon), and covered in cheddar cheese. Ahhhhh. The others at my table raved about the kielbasa and pierogi dish. They also liked the beer selection. How do you know you have a great find? You think about the meal long after it is consumed. Next meal- breakfast. I had the kielbasa and pierogi omelet. Need I say more? Finally, we came back a third time and I ordered the burger. No burger place (save Chuckbox in Tempe, AZ) can match the Rowley burger. The burger is actually seasoned and cooked to order. I had it medium rare. Sheer perfection. Typing this review makes me sad because I live far away from Cleveland. I've been to nice steak joints that don't know how to cook a steak medium that consistently throughout. My initial water glass was cracked, and a decent chip in the top almost cut my lip. I brought it to the servers attention and she replaced it. And, I also ordered an Arnold Palmer, which never came.
