Thursday lunch starts with a $6.50 Margarita made by bartender Naielli (Only $3.00 during Happy Hour on Tuesdays), perfectly balanced with a light blend of sweet and sour and a heavy pour of tequila. Then a $12 Pub Burger with a loaded plate of fat, real fries and my go-to side of ranch dressing. My friend ordered a $10 build-it-yourself calzone, adding olives, tomatoes, and spinach toppings at $0.25 each. Light, with a cloud of ricotta cheese and a thin crispy crust - Yummy! The charming and friendly Joaquin, to my left, ordered a thin-crust 18" cheese pizza, which was the $10 Thursday Special. For an extra $4.00 he got half the pizza with big fat slices of sausage and bell pepper, the other half ham and pineapple. Absolutely delicious! My tummy was going to be challenged to find room for all the wonderful opportunities at hand. I was told that Maria, who is doing all the dayshift cooking, is a perfectionist. I tipped her in cash, because it truly was a wonderful meal, and she deserved to be recognized for it all! This place looks a little rough around the edges on the outside, and is in a location not known for fine dining, but it's a gastronomic pleasure on the inside, to be sure. There are shuffleboard and Foosball tables inside, plus a felt pool table in the outdoor patio / smoking area. Multiple video screens for sports fans, and the bar is separate from a larger room with family style seating at long tables. We waited 17 min for someone to come to our table to order. They were not busy and there was 8 staff visible. They only person to speak to us the very young host. We had time to plan our full order. 2x 13.00 drinks, Appetizer 23.00 two entree at 19.00 and 29.00 each. We saw 6 of the staff congregating behind the bar having drinks. So I guess I hey don't need our money. It's the first time we have been here and it was for a birthday celebration. This little spot is great for a mellow night out. We were there on a Saturday evening. We weren't looking for anything fancy just some good greasy food and beer. This is definitely the spot for that. I got an email for a BOGO Pub burger so I followed the drections to place my order for two 12 dollar Pub burgers for the price of one and figured it better be good for 12 bucks! I got an email back after I ordered and payed for the great deal with frys included! After 20 minutes I got there and no one knew anything about the order???? I showed the bar tender the order on my phone so they made a phone call to the owner and after waiting for 15 more minutes the bartender put the order in. The bar was really loud and I realized I would probably be there a while so I ordered a Michalada. It was 10 dollars for the beer with Clamato juice added. I have to admit I haven't ordered a beer in a while but I didn't realize the prices had gone up so much for burgers and beer. Everyone was very nice about the misunderstanding the food was average but I probably won't go back to this place! read more

Came in last night for a bluegrass jam. The pizza and nachos looked delish but I ordered the 3 taco trio. It was OK...I got ground beef, carne asada and chicken and they all could have used more flavor. All were a little dry, especially the chicken but the salsa helped. First time going here with my mom and son for a quick bite. We made it just in time for Happy Hour! The food did not disappoint and house white zin for $3 a glass can't be beat. Huge chicken strips with thick cut, seasoned fries came out piping hot. They were devoured by my 4.5 year old within minutes. The Irish nachos were thick potato rounds covered in melted cheese, green onions, bacon, and a huge dollop of sour cream. The small (not even that small) house salad was fresh with good ranch! Why did it take me so long to finally come to this place.... This spot is so laid back. Not too crowded, not too divey, and friendly staff. Decided to go check out the Pub (Scarentinos?) We wanted to watch the Hockey game without all the crazy noise we get at Oggi's or High Park... walked into a car area and there is a second area with a car and lots of tables and a huge tv screen (wasn't very clear). We decided to sit at the bar there were just a few people in there. We had read that the food was good! And it was very good! Met some very nice people and Chris the bartender is very nice and social... does his job well. We will be back again! read more

We wanted to check this place out after seeing it change over a few weeks ago. Went tonight with my husband for a date night. The dining room was empty when we arrived and we had the full attention of the server. We ordered the Irish Nachos and Hawaiian pizza Chicago style. Now, I admit that we were taking a risk with the Chicago style, but we wanted to see how they did it. First, the Irish nachos were delicious. I think they use a combo of queso and melted cheddar and the bacon was perfect. Second, the happy hour was a good value: $3 well drinks and domestic beers. And my rum and coke was not watered down. But, the pizza we had was essentially a large slab of mozzarella. I like cheesy pizzas, but this was ridiculous. I expect a Chicago style pizza to be loaded with toppings, and these toppings were pretty sparse, basically sprinkled over about 1/2" thick slab of melted cheese. I couldn't eat more than about 3/4 of a slice because it was so much cheese. I felt like a rock was in my stomach for the rest of the evening. The upshot: don't get Chicago style pizza. But, maybe other stuff is better? Judging from the Irish nachos, they do know how to cook. But don't take your friend in town from the Windy City - they will be offended by this version of their pizza. read more

Took my wife and kids here around 5pm Saturday night after checking out the Christmas stuff at Green Thumb nursery next door. I've seen the signs that this place had recently opened, and "Pub/pizzeria" is right up my alley. The layout of the place is kinda weird, with a hallway you walk down to get to the main dining area separate from the bar. The bar had a few patrons in it, but the dining room was empty (it would be great for a team pizza party based on how it was laid out). We were a little leery since it typically not a good sign to be the only ones eating in a place... We were promptly greeted and had our drinks ordered by a very sweet waitress. We got to enjoy the big TVs, and she even put Mickey Mouse on for the 4 year old since no one else was there. We ordered a side salad to share ($7), which was perfect size to share before the pepperoni pizza ($17) that we also shared. Best part about the place was the pizza! Thin crust, great flavor, delish. I really hope they can attract more people in. I did see signs for HAppy Hour specials throughout the week, so hopefully it's just a matter of time before people realize how good they are. read more

Love the revamp of this place. Love the new back patio area as well. The food is excellent. They are always adding new things to the menu to try. You have got to try the deep dish veggie pizza, it's to die for. In fact, just about everything on this menu is excellent. They also have a daily special which is very reasonably prices, in fact the whole menu is reasonably priced. Service is first rate, no one making you wait forever, and they pour a good drink. In fact, on a couple occasions the girls saw me coming in and already had my drink poured for me. Now that's service!!!!! Did I mention they always have good music playing too. My vegan fiancee and I came here last Thursday night for happy hour. He got a veggie pizza with no cheese and I got the pepperoni. We also got fries to share. The fries were thick and perfectly cooked. The thin crust pizza was very delicious for both of us, including leftovers! This place rocks. Definitely the best poppers I have ever eaten, fresh fat jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in crispy bacon and dripping with decadent juice down my throat. I almost ordered a second one. Great conversation, fun friendly staff, interesting sociable patrons to mingle with and taco Tuesday. They have happy hour. I ordered the beef crispy tacos for a dollar apiece and some $3 margaritas which were absolutely yum. My husband didn't care for the spaghetti taco much yet he loved the bacon wrapped jalapeños and so did I. Definitely American style food pub so don't expect cantina style authenticity, however the prices cannot be beat and this is why I say five stars as we are impressed with the quality of the food and excellent service from the staff. NO AIR CONDITIONING !! This place has the hottest happy hour in town ... literally! Came here for Happy Hour, and sat in the "restaurant" area, and sweat my ass off. No air, no fans, no nothing. The bar has a couple portable fans blowing which makes it tolerable. But if you're not the first 20 people in, you're out of luck. Only the restaurant area or outside is available. Outside is out of the question when temps are in the 90's or above for krise sake. I think the only reason there are portable fans in the bar, is because that's where the employees hang out. This place has NO REGARD for the comfort of their customers. How hard would it be to put up ceiling fans if you're too cheap to run the A/C? I gave 3 stars because the happy hour is good, but too bad it's too hot to enjoy it. read more

Fun bar, lots of TV's great place to watch sports or just relax with friends and grab a cold beer. I have been coming to this place for years or I should say back when it was an Italian restaurant/bar. The Pub got off to a slow start but there menu has been growing, beer selection as well. They have good food, great bar tenders/servers and a fun local crowd. They are even bringing in live music on the weekends now. There are not a lot of Pub style places here in the local area.
