Son said eh it's a burger

Overpriced burgers and sandwiches with poor organization. Stopped here after visiting Fort Ticonderoga for lunch. The place was already busy, hut most wre having ice cream or shakes. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger w/ ketchup only, a mushroom Swiss burger with ketchup, mayo, lettuce tomato and onion, no pickles, a Philly cheesesteak with onions peppers and provolone, a side of onion rings and 2 beers We didn't wait long, maybe at most 10 minutes for our food. The beers we got maybe 5 minutes prior to the food. When we got our food, the burgers through the wax paper looked exactly the same..nd when I opened them, they were not our orders. Went back up to the pick up counter with my receipt and the guy checked and verified it wasn't ours. He then went behind the counter to look on the other trays, he didn't open the wrapped burgers but kinda looked through the paper to determine which was ours. My burger was still incorrect (pickles) but I just gave them to my husband. His Philly cheesesteak was disappointing For the amount of money spent for the sandwich, it lacked substance (meat). The onion rings were tasty, fried just right, perfect crispness. My son was so hungry he gobbled up his burger saying, eh it's a burger. Maybe they are better known for their ice cream and shakes???

Yummy for the tummy ice cream. Old fashion hamburgers and great Kraut dog. Friendly service and well priced.

The "Fresh Flavors Fiesta Bowl" with steak. Yumm.

Ok WindChill in the summer is great!! The new WindChill Mexican Grill is amazing!!! The food is fresh and well seasoned. The staff are cheerful very attentive and ready to smile. The new walk-in area to order is very nice. This is a Great addition to the Ticonderoga area. Great job!!!

I was so excited to try this place. The staff wasn't overly friendly, food was unappetizing, ice cream was fine but nothing extraordinary.

The main lodge and patio are beautiful and it seemed everything was well planned and organized. Having been coming to Schroon Lake for years, it is so great to have such a wonderful place move in and I really am rooting for their long term success! That said, our restaurant experience was not great. The wait staff and kitchen are not on the same level as the rest of the place. I've had better meals and service at just about every other restaurant in town. This was sad because I really wanted to love and rave about the restaurant. Overall this is a great place to have a few drinks and enjoy the entertainment! But if you get hungry, might be better just to order bar food staples from the Tavern part of the restaurant.

The fish was breaded and the breading was AMAZING! The portion was generous, served with excellent fries, Cole slaw and tartar sauce. The Cole slaw was ...GOOD! I never like restaurant Cole slaw. This had flavor and a surprise: DILL. I stole a significant portion of my sweetheart's meal. My choice was an appetizer: first time for pork belly. The meat itself was delicious, served as a (3) Skewer with a half Brussels sprout, in a bed of spicy sauce (that the bartender said was not spicy). It was very good, but it was duct. Order the sauce on the side. As far as service, it was great, but we did arrive before the crowd. Bartender did replace my drink I didn't care for. Before I finish, I want to express my gratitude for the free Live Music here, weekly. Every Friday and Saturday. It definitely brings my business.

Two Brothers was the choice from the desk so we went with it and so glad we did. Place looked pretty busy, bar was full, we were seated pretty much right away. The menu is smaller (perfect amount of items , hate too many choices) but done well. We love doing shareable so we can try a bunch of different things. The mussels were the absolute show stopper here, different than most. Tequila, spicy, little bits of sausage, (i would have drank the broth or made this a soup it was so good) The Poutine was different than I was used to, it was our least favorite but still ok. This is just a personal preference but I'm used to being smothered in gravy, it was almost non existent. It's like the ere was a ladle on the bottom and fries on top so didn't get a lot of it. The street corn dip was really good, much different than others I've had as well but in a really good way. It was hearty with lots of corn, had some nice spice to it. We also had (not pictured) French onion soup, loved it, nice peppery, piping hot. The cheddar ale soup, best I've had, literally you can taste all the components of this, rich, thick, creamy, sharp cheddar with a hint of the ale in the background. For dessert we took the donut holes to go, the colors dip was amazing, the chocolate looked like it was seized up a bit, we also ate this a little later so it could have been us and not from then. This looks like a super fun place to belly up at the bar, it has the hometown feel , we are already planning a stop on our drive back later this week!

I loved the prime rib wrap - it was well stuffed with meat and the outside was crispy from the grill. Dessert: the brookie (brownie + cookie) skillet was delicious!
