This is one of my favorite places in California. Here for a convention and low and behold stopped in for a beer and holy cow the bartenders are in bikinis and HOT like model hot. Melanie was my bartender and she is beautiful and not at all bitchy. Could not believe it and best of all she was killing it behind the bar. She even was waiting on all the tables in the bar area. The Bar: Outside Located in a strip mall as most dives are. Tattoos, Massages, a Liquor store, and a bar... one stop shop. This bar, easy to see, with brightly colored signage out front. Inside: Nothing divey about this place..yeah...right! This is your ultimate neighborhood dive. Lit only by neon signs and tv's. A lot of tv's. The seating capacity is probably about 40 people. Plenty of room for your whole crew. The Crowd: A lot of suit and tie when we first arrived. More women than your average bikini bar and a group of guys wearing matching flannel shirts. Everyone was cool. Laid back place. Prices: $15 pitcher of Shock Top, $6 shots of Fireball, $5 tall cans of PBR. Entertainment: It's a bikini bar. What more do you need? Seriously though, 3 pool tables ($0.50), 13 TV's, AMI Jukebox. Free popcorn. Restroom: The diamond plated death traps are becoming a trend. This was the most intense one we've seen yet. Relatively clean, minus the over flowing trash can. The door has a lock, which is useless since the door doesn't latch. If you got to drop a deuce, there is a nice spot right across the street to slide into. Bartender: Did not catch the names of the ones this evening. The manager, Nick, told us they are new to Pump Room and one is fresh to the bartending job in general. Both beautiful girls. Closing statement: Other than the super over priced everything, this was a good spot. We recommend pre-gaming prior to your arrival so that you don't spend a fortune. After the other reviews your expectations shouldn't be great. With that said it's one lady in lingerie serving drinks to a crowd of 20 male patrons. Like another reviewer mentioned you need to be 50 to get much attention here. The bartender is beautiful however but she's serving many others so you won't see much of (an asian girl was we working today) her. I suppose if you come here with a group of guys its alright but I would rather go to a bar with female patrons. Sure they're wearing a bit more but your more likely to get a number and see her naked. Not so here. There are more women in gay bars than this dark dive bar and if you're feeling lonely, this is the last place to go. Be warned. No games were going on today but it might be ok for that. They had 4-5 flat screens of various sizes. The largest was on the far end of the bar, the other screens were pretty small. Beer selection is diverse. I had a Pabst Blue Ribbon for the first time, ala hipster. It was meh. I loved Blue Velvet, but I don't care for PBR. FU hipsters. The 24 oz can was 5 bucks and I left a 2 dollar tip. I wondered, because of a lack of enthusiasm, if she wanted more. I was not offered popcorn, and that made me sad. I played pool for 50 cents a game and that made me feel better. But I played by myself and I was sad again. I finished the beer and left. It is what it is as another reviewer said. There are many other dive bars with beers just as cheap and they all have more women in it. So, as a guy, there's no real reason to come here. One chick in lingerie for viewing is kind of... I can't pass judgment. To each his own. There are so many alternatives to this. Also, in the alley near by i saw a cop car just waiting to pull people over so obviously don't park at the establishment. I love the smell of fresh buttery popcorn and that's what this place smells like :) Yes this place is a bikini bar, but I think that it is different from a lot of bikini bars out there. This is icing on the cake! The tables are clean, the bathroom is clean, and the bar area is clean. I love being able to enjoy my drinks n not be grossed out. This was my last stop here. This is a complete dive bar with one bartender in a bathing suit. We got some Lagunitas IPAs. They had some pretty good beers here and some pool tables with fewer people than other bars at the Orange Circle. read more

This bar is one of my favorites. Price wise and customer service. The girls who work here not only look good but have great personalities and make you feel like it is your bar. I have never been there and not felt at home. I usually go on Tuesdays and it isn't for the drinks it's because Chandra is amazing. Not only beautiful but she is super nice welcoming and always talkative and tentative to the customer. I met her at this bar so I am not saying this because I knew her before and yea I consider her a friend now :) Also the new girl Candice is amazing too! I love this place for its 50 cent pool and its large reasonably priced drinks. That being said the clientele is composed of old perverted tradesmen. The only women in this establishment are the bartenders who are dressed in slutty outfits. They are generally pleasant but there are a few who won't give you the time of day if you are not over 50 with a hard-on for them. That being said, if you're looking to pickup a girl this is not the place. This is a place to bring a couple of your buddies, watch a game on one of their many TVs and play some cheap pool. I've been her 20+ times but not a regular (I live too far away otherwise I would be). Not what you'd expect from a "dive". Very clean, temperature controlled, ice-cold beer in a frosty mug, fresh popcorn and a decent beer selection (plus full bar). Girls are in bikinis or lingerie but they are just very friendly and don't try to hustle. I always see at least one or two female patrons having a good time. Stopped by on a Sunday and grabbed a chair and a beer. The waitress was super cool and friendly. Ordered 2 Lagunitas and tried to get them to make an old fashion but they didn't have the ingrediants. She did her best and it was OK but without proper ingredients it's not a old fashion. The vibe was cool and crowd was chill. I didn't get a bad vibe from the bartender like some reviews state..she was super cool...one of the downfall is there isn't food but several patrons brought in their own..so knowing that..its not a big deal. What the big neg was the price if the drinks. On a Sunday afternoon at a supposed dive bar the 2 beers and basically a rye bourbon shot cost $27. That's not ridiculous but I think it's on the higher side. If I return it would be to hang out with friends and have 1 drink. Maybe 2. If you want cold beer..good drinks and chill vibe and don't really care about the extra couple bucks for a drink then check it out......im more of a dive bar guy and this is definitely not a dive bar..the one across the street is more divey....but this place was cool none the less. read more

The Pump Room is basically a dive bar with scantily clad female bartenders to serve you. Service appears to be good as they attend to the lowering level of your drinks. They serve beer but no liquor from what I was told. There are 3 pool tables to play and plenty of TVs to watch sports. Free popcorn. I've been to many bars/dive bars, and sometimes you get there and don't really pay attention to the customer service. You just go there to get a drink, relax etc., but the experience I had. I'm blown away. Lauren , our bartender, went out of her way just to make our time here a 5 Star experience. Then KC started talking to us and connecting with us. I work in customer service. Actually I'm a manager in a retail store. But the way these two treated me and my friend. It was genuine, and it felt like they wanted to make us happy. And that's what matters to me. Cool place to come have drinks, full bar with decent beers on tap. I say decent cause they have a good amount of taps with some rotating craft beers. Strong pours, girls to look at. Good place to come after work with your buddies, I'll bring some friends that are girls here, but some might feel awkward with the amount of men in the place and attention you're given, but that's what comes with bikini bars. If you're a girl and you go expect to be one of the only ones besides the bar tender(s). Nothing special about the place just your typical dive bikini bar. Pretty cool spot. The ladies are lovely and the beer is cold. Keep track of how many drinks you have had. I did my first drink cash and the subsequent drinks on a card. Busy bar and I had the feeling they doubted me and questioned how many drinks I needed to pay for. Other than that pretty cool. No food here but they did not have a problem when I had a pizza delivered. This place is right across the street from 2nd base. 2nd base serves food. This place is great if your a guy I suppose because of the sexy women in a bra and panty thus 2 stars but again there's only 2 working the night I went. It's small and there were a few weird people there the night I went and no bouncer to keep these guys hands off me and a friend. There is only one restroom per gender and they dont serve food which took 2 stars away. The drinks were made strong which could have been a good thing but I was the designated driver and was drinking for taste so I didn't want my Irish coffee so strong and more for enjoyable flavor. The place is clean not much for anything more than a few drinks but I would hate to stay there for more than an hour. I actually went here by myself for the first time and they made me feel pretty comfortable the second I walked in. I went to just play a few games of pool after eating Tia Food right next door which was really good by the way! I ordered a vodka and red bull and I have to say it was horrible. Besides that the service was great and the waitresses to my surprise were dimes! Holy coy they were beautiful. Even better they were wearing hardy anything at all. Small tops and 1/2 cut bottoms with everything showing. I didn't expect all that, but I wasn't complaining. They actually go around and spark conversation and are very friendly. I'm not a big fan of dive bars but this place is special. Place is clean and sports 3 pool tables and a good juke. Enough about that. The real story are the bikini clad bartenders. Now, this place isn't that busy during days so there was only one girl working. No matter because she was gorgeous. Usually the hotter they are the worse the service gets. Not true with this babe 8). Went in today, July 17th and there was a new girl (guest bartender as she was called) bartending who was extremely rude. She completely ignored me walking back and forth passing me helping other customers and never acknowledging that I was there. When I posted a comment for the owner on another social media account to bring that to his attention he immediately deleted my comment and blocked me. The owner does not like anything negative said about his employees or bar and has always deleted comments and blocked other customers so his establishment looks perfect. He doesn't make any effort to improve service if someone comments that they had a bad experience here. Luckily, he cannot delete my review here so others will know that place isn't perfect and what kind of a jerk owns the place. He has lots of locals that go there so he won't lose money, but if you haven't gone there for years you will be treated poorly. There are some cool bartenders that work there as well as some stuck up ones so go there at your own risk. I will not visit this place again nor his other bar in HB called Max's. read more
