This is a great place to get a delicious deli sandwich. The prices are a bit higher than other sandwich places, but you are getting a quality sandwich. I ordered the Little Italy with chips, drink, and a pickle. I love and good pickle that isn't a typical sour dill. The sandwich was amazing, the bread was so soft. Sandwich's are the same size, doubles are double the meat. This is a total Packers hangout, there is Packers swag everywhere. I could spend all day looking at everything. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There's a large bar with several beers on tap. Everyone is so friendly, they treat you like family. Its to bad they aren't open Sunday for Packers games.

Highlights: -- the Great Scott Sandwich -- squaw bread (homemade dark bread) -- beer selection -- Packers paraphernalia -- friendly ordering and customer service

The Spicy is loaded with hot pastrami. This is a terrific sandwich with a ton of flavor.

This attractive joint was packed on a Friday afternoon which should tell you something. It told me a lot of people were playing hooky from work to enjoy the draft beers and excellent sandwiches available. Of course, I was only there myself on a Friday afternoon as a faithful unpaid restaurant reviewer. The Spicy sandwich is absolutely packed with hot pastrami and other meats. I got the double meat version and it's a squat sandwich but extremely fat. It honestly looks really small but it's a belly buster, trust me. Make sure and exercise your snake jaws beforehand. It has tons of flavor and is an outstanding sandwich. The Smoked Turkey and Gouda with bacon added was fresh and delicious. The Turkey and Avocado came on delicious squaw bread and was simple and nice. We also tried the potato salad, pasta salad, and artichoke hearts, but only the artichoke hearts were above average. The sides were fine but not essential. Don't forget about the incredible canned and bottled beers and soft drinks for sale along the far wall. Even better, unless the beverages are packaged, you can pull off a single can or bottle for purchase, just like you can at Trader Joe's (yes, really). Every store, and I mean, every store, should do this. This is top notch service and, presumably, smart business. Speaking of service, the counter fellow was extremely friendly and appreciative. We ordered takeout but the vibes here were great. If I had had the time, I would have gotten a sandwich and a draft beer or three and hung out for a couple of hours. They also have TVs for sports viewing. Put this place high on your list.

    "Double"

I don't leave poor reviews often, but my experience has been had by others and should be mentioned again. I spent $25 for a "double" sandwich to go. Nothing else. I received 2 halves that were smaller than my fiancé's smaller palms and probably at most 3 inches each. I ate it 8 minutes after and they were already soggy. Flavor was okay but I have never felt so disappointed with a portion at a deli. The people were nice and friendly but I will go somewhere else at those prices. I realize the food isn't always cheap on a restaurant's end but this seemed like costs being passed onto consumers at an obscene margin. Also saw a $50-$60 6 pack of large beers and that somewhat caught me by surprise.

Dropped by this spot on the way to the beach and it did not disappoint!! The menu is straight forward with what seems to be some specials and fan favorites. My sandwich was delicious and instead of getting a number you get a drink company card thing, which is fun. I didn't grab any of the drinks but there were a ton of options and you could mix and match. Everyone was so nice but the turn around time was a little longer than I expected for the food, but it was worth it, plus the pickle was a treat. Just a heads up, they are packers fans through and through, at least that's what I got from the decor!

Very good food. Fresh ingredients all the way around. Excellent selection of beer and ales as well. They had a few TV's up on the wall and they seem to be Packers fans! Great vibe inside, but soooo hard to get to through the week during lunch rush hour.

I tried the Turkey Club and it was Good , pretty decent size . I got 3 deviled eggs and MAN they were the worst I've ever had , Had to bite my sandwich a couple times to get the flavor out . Service was good , staff were friendly. Place was clean and was cold because they have a huge refrigerator full of beer, so bring a sweater .

Best deli I have encountered and I can't wait to come back to try all the sandwiches ! I like the casual and unassuming atmosphere from the establishment. Customers and staff were so great to hang out and talk to! Service was fun and trustworthy. Entering the delicatessen, you will find the sandwich and chips order counter on your left The beers on tap towards the back of the store. If this isn't fun already, don't forget the bottles and four pack beer selection in the refrigerated shelves! Mix of different brewed beer selection on tap. Snorkel Liips from Kern River. The best! Sandwich selection can get overwhelming but know that you can always come back to try the rest!! We ordered Turkey Avocado on Squaw bread. I love this sandwich. Bread was so good! We were fortunate to dine during afternoon Friday Trivia. We didn't partake formally but we played amongst ourselves and it was so much fun! Can't wait to come back. Dog friendly on the patio.

Parking is awful and sandwiches are good but bit pricey. Bit slow for Friday lunch hour. Bit confusing on the ordering process, prefer to pay before getting sandwich so I don't lose my seat. Great customer service! Turkey and Avocado sandwich was pretty damn tasty and the pickles were amazing! Brought home the Little Italy - Double and that was good and refreshing with the artichokes in there. Didn't know double means double meat, not a whole sandwich. Next time getting single since double was $23 for Little Italy. Two sandwiches was $45.

My BF brought home their sandwich to try. He got the Little Italy Sandwich and the Turkey Club that I forgot to take a picture of. I did like the little Italy sandwich more than the turkey club. The bread was light and the sandwich was very fresh. The service was a little slow, but they were very friendly. Definitely welcome back to try their other sandwiches.

This place is a great locals hang for sandwich (deli) lovers, brew lovers, Green Bay fans. Low key hang stop. Never been disappointed so it time to post some appreciation. Friendly family owed business. Service efficient. Support local businesses. Sandwiches. The bread is fresh! Soft. Pillowy. Meat and vegetables on point. Sides: Fresh and delicious Beer: You will be very happy with the selection. Give this place a whirl! Enjoy!

    Little Italy Aftermath

Food, hard to say clearly? Hear me out. My baby had bacon avocado sandwich and I had Little Italy with three deviled eggs and a 17 oz Pliny draft. Sandwich with beer, full marks because beer was so potent and fresh. Sandwich was proper, I prefer a banh mi crisp bread type, not so here. It was toothsome and stand-up bread, hard to plainly describe. But next visit I want a pickled egg and a Chris sandwich. Order at counter, get plastic laminate cards, go to bar with taps, order and get beer. They call your card's name mine was Wari. Go square up get Sandos. Beer and sandwich sits very nice before noon on Saturday. But honestly Mattern Sausage pork chop sandwich is more better, as is Claro's Italian cuts. But this spot owns its own territory I am glad to call it a new bosom friend, World Cup on tvs. Get the draft Pliny if on offer. Attitude adjusted. With sublime refinement.

    Double Turkey and Avocado Sandwich
    Tiffany T.

Ordered a double turkey and avocado on squaw, it was so good, but sandwiches are a little pricey. Staff are amazingly nice. It's so busy at lunch that it can be hard to find seating and parking. I dislike the ordering process of paying when food is ready and not getting your drink until then. You can lose your seat when paying if both orders in your party are ready at the same time. Wait for food is long, so it would be nice to have a drink while waiting.

The space is BEAUTIFUL, both during the day and at night. When we checked in on Friday evening they even had live music, but unfortunately I was feeling a little sick so I skipped it and told myself I'd redeem the experience the next day before heading to Disneyland. And I'm glad I did. In the daytime, the patio area is gorgeous--you can really appreciate the firepit seating and the little lake with koi fish outside. Such a relaxing vibe. We came by around 4PM to pregame before Disney and the bar was pretty busy. Huge shoutout to Arvey, the bartender who took care of us during our visit. Not only was the service exceptional, but he genuinely made some of the best cocktails we've had in a while. Sitting at the bar and watching him make the drinks was honestly part of the experience itself. At first we were trying to customize and tweak our drinks because we usually stay in our comfort zone, but after talking with him and learning more about the ingredients in The Peel's specialty cocktails, we decided to trust the process a little more. We ordered the Dragonfly and Playing With Fire, and both were amazing--beautiful presentation, really balanced flavors, sweet and sour in the best way. We're usually not big foam cocktail people either, but this visit might've changed our minds a little. Also, Playing With Fire came with a fun little presentation moment which made it even better. Honestly, I was really impressed with my experience here. I even came back for another drink at breakfast before checking out of the hotel lol. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. When I order from a BBQ restaurant, especially when I'm paying BBQ prices, I expect the brisket to be the standout item. Good brisket should be tender, juicy, flavorful, and have that rich smoky taste that comes from being cooked low and slow. Sadly, that wasn't my experience at all. The brisket I received was dry, tough, and lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. Instead of being easy to pull apart or melt-in-your-mouth tender, it was chewy and difficult to eat. The seasoning and smoke flavor were also underwhelming, making the meat feel even more disappointing. As someone who specifically ordered brisket because it's usually the star of any BBQ menu, I was surprised by how far it fell short of expectations. I understand that delivery can sometimes affect food quality, but since the food arrived hot, I don't think temperature was the issue here. The problem was simply the quality and preparation of the brisket itself. Based on my experience, I would recommend that others skip the brisket. There are plenty of BBQ places that do brisket exceptionally well, and unfortunately this wasn't one of them. I was really looking forward to this meal and ended up disappointed. I can't see myself ordering the brisket again.

That's not me being negative. I have stayed here three times and I've never found a room that I didn't get woken up. Parking is $39 a night. You read that right trying to find a place after 7 o'clock at night, good luck on weekends it's not gonna happen. You're gonna have to park in the garage across the street for $39 a night. You can ballet for $49 a night.... Breakfast: $30. Of the three times of stayed here, twice my safe didn't work and had to be taken care of my maintenance once my shower didn't work and once my toilet seat had been painted, and the paint was peeling off. During my most recent day when you shut the door, it wouldn't lock you had to either pull on the handle when you were leaving or press really hard from the inside. Doesn't make you feel super safe. Look I get everybody has to work and make 11. But what I'm staying somewhere with the family I don't want to have to get into an elevator with a prostitute. That has happened here multiple times. That's not me being approved. That's not me being judgmental, I have been propositioned in the elevator twice in three stays. Excellent customer service all around. I ordered a chicken burrito and a margarita. They have two options for the margarita, strawberry or lime and I chose strawberry. The seating area was a little crowded and very loud. The World Cup game was on and most people were watching that. But that wasn't what was loud. They have a jukebox-type music selection machine and when someone selects a song, it plays loudly. If no one selects a song, it's actually quiet. The food comes with chips and salsa, which they bring out first. I'm very sensitive to spicy and I found the salsa spicy but good. Note that when you pay, they add a $0.50 charge for credit card and it doesn't give you the option to tip so be prepared with cash if you want to do that. I would recommend coming if you want an authentic food experience.
