I don't know how I've not made it here sooner! I love their food! It's the only vegan place in town. Other places might alter the food to make it vegan. But thank goodness they exist! You must try the spring rolls the sauce is amazing but spicy so beware if you don't like spice. I also had the scrambled tofu wrap and I loved it. I also got the chocolate chip cookie (don't judge) and it's delicious. The customer service is exceptional. I will definitely be a regular. Everything at this location is great and parking is hardly ever and issue. I've been here a number of times but never took the time to write a review. Westchester County needs more places that serve raw, fresh, organic options. The ingredients are always fresh and everything prepared in-house. It's my go to place for healthy, fast food. You get to choose from a wide variety of buffet style options but keep in mind you are paying by the pound, so choose wisely if you are budgeting. They also have a variety of smoothies and juices for those that want to subscribe to the cleanse program. There are plenty of tables to dine-in or just take the food out. They also serve fresh juices and shots of wheatgrass. Detox programs are available. I really enjoyed the lemon, avocado, and tomato salad. I got a vegan burger here and I am accustomed to vegan food, but this was so dry, flavorless, small portioned, over-priced, and lacked presentation. I didn't realize Bareburger was next door and serves vegan burgers, I should have gone there. When I think of the best began burger I ever had I think of Wild Foods Cafe in Neil's Yard London. That would be a 5 star vegan burger for me, unfortunately this one was a 1 or 2. The beet ketchup was the best part and it wasn't even incorporated into the burger and I would have needed 3x's as much to add enough flavor and combat the dryness. Why not add the beet ketchup into the actual burger for some color and flavor, and then put it on the side as well. Maybe add some avocado for more moisture and a different texture, make it bigger and a bit messier, and have some type of fry alternative on the side or a little side salad or be crazy and have both. read more

Very refreshing. It's a well lit, clean place with only healthy foods. It was nice to be able to order anything and feel good about it - especially because the prior evening's dinner was all fried food at a nearby seafood place. Both my wife and I had the tofu and guacamole sandwich, which was very good. Our son ate lots of the pickled veggies and avocado and seemed to really like it ("nummy ava!"). YUM! I eat organic and try to eat as healthy as possible when I eat out, so this place was an easy choice for my friend and me. When I got there, I felt like I was looking at my own home cooking with all natural ingredients and lots of veggies! It's kind of like a salad bar, but not a self-service one. The only thing I would like to see are some lables on the dishes so you didn't have to ask what each one was. However, the gentleman behind the counter serving me was more than happy to oblige my questions. The bottled water there is FREE, yes, that's right, FREE and the food is deicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for organic, healthy and flavorful dishes. My husband and I were visiting from Hawaii and have been in search of great tasting vegan food. We located this place by using Google. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of flavor that's packed in all of their food. The food is made in house so you're getting fresh food. There are tons of options for you to choose from whether it's made to order, food bar selections or fresh refrigerated options. We had a combination of both. The prices are great for the quality of food you get and the staff are all professional and helpful. We look forward to returning when we're back in town. i hate to give a vegan eatery a one star rating, but Pureganic earned it. looking for a quick bite to eat before heading home from a performance we had just attended in Purchase, my boyfriend and i decided to stop at Pureganic Cafe for a bite. we were greeted by an employee behind the counter who was friendly with pushy suggestions, while mentioning that he wasn't vegan so he had to eat a lot of the items on the menu at once. great. ironically, if you take a look at their menu, under practically all of the items, it's suggested that you "please consider adding a 16oz. hot seasonal soup to your order." for $7.95 more. between the suggestions of the employee and the suggestions on the menu, i smelled a sheisty odor in the air. i chose the falafel bowl (sans bowl of soup) and an alkaline water, partially because the next least expensive drink on the menu was a lemon water, for five dollars! the falafel bowl was okay. not much for the money. the falafel itself shouldn't have been called falafel. they were three squashed lumps of green dryness. my love, whose patience had already been tried by the "non-vegan" employee, ordered the classic burger. it wasn't aesthetically unlike a McDonald's burger. when my boyfriend asked for the mayo which was listed as one of the meager ingredients, including a piece of iceberg lettuce, a slice of out-of season tomato, a ring of white onion, and ketchup. [he hadn't realized that you could choose either ketchup or mayo with the burger. he was automatically served the ketchup.] the waitress said they didn't have mayo because they "only serve organic food". [eye-roll sigh], so she brought him the sauce for one of their other dishes. my boyfriend also got a "spiced up citrus" juice for $10.95. it was pre-bottled. the whole bill was $47+. for what we got, we were ripped off, but what really burns me about vegan establishments such as Pureganic is that they give the impression that vegan food is inaccessible to people who aren't "well-off". the food is expensive and unimpressive. i originally had given Pureganic a two-star rating solely because they are a strictly vegan establishment, but by the time i've gotten to the end of typing this review, i feel more strongly that Pureganic's presentation of the items on their vegan menu makes the food seem elitist, and that's a turn-off, not just towards the food at Pureganics, but vegan food in general. nice try Pureganic, but you're waaaaaay off. Moshira, In response to your comment below, the cost of the justifiably?! expensive food we were served at Pureganic was only one of my complaints about your establishment (as you can re-read above). If you're factoring in service as part of the cost, we were ripped off there too (as detailed above). I appreciate your attempt at amending our poor experience, but we are not interested in being compensated a bad meal experience for a bad meal experience. I think you'll find sufficient suggestions for improvement in my original review. I hope that, for future customers, the sub-par food at Pureganic can be improved in flavor, originality and freshness (specifically in reference to the pre-bottled juices). I'm not convinced that you are passing on the lowest prices possible (considering the meager portions of food) while maintaining a comfortable profit. I've always loved Andy's but I noticed some great changes with the new owner. She has great passion and the food has never been fresher or tastier. I always feel so great after I have a meal there that I'm considering going full vegan in the future now that I have access to such tasty and varied options. I've been an Andy's FAN for years and have ALWAYS enjoyed their food and service. Unfortunately, after today, I've changed my mind. It's a 30 min drive for us to get there, so it's not a quick trip but it has always been worth it. We're definitely not making that trip again, unless we're in the area then MAYBE we'll stop in. After reading a previous negative review I braced myself for the change. I didn't believe they would change THAT much. It has change but not for the better. They have cut down on the options available. Although they still have some of the same options not everything taste the same. The steamed spicy cabbage had absolutely NO flavor what so ever. The butter beans were really salty and the kale salad had way too much lemon and not enough avocado in their dressing. The gentleman who rang us up wasn't the friendliest, especially when we were vocal about how unhappy we are with the changes in their menu. I'm thinking a business would be encouraging feedback, especially when they re-open. We've bought their $200 gift card a few times in the past. It was a great deal, you'd get an $50 extra with purchase. Well....we didn't buy another card this time. I wanted to give them a 2 but gave them an extra star because of what they use to be. Please go back to the way it was before! If it's not broken, don't try to fix it. The only thing I agree with is smaller display plates to keep things fresh other than that, no no no. Sorry, but you lost a loyal customer. The cashew cheesecakes and macaroons were gone. Now you have you ask for water. read more

The best healthy food in Westchester, hands down. If you are looking for vegan, organic fare, this is your best bet - it is delicious and does your body good. A personal favorite is the spicy cabbage, but it really is hard to go wrong here. And if you have any doubt as to the benefit of the kind of food that they serve there, ask to meet the owner, and then ask how old she is-- you are likely to be off by 15 years. read more

Juices are amazing, staff is fabulous (especially the kind gentleman in the front who was the cashier today! attentive/sweet), and the place is really clean. BUT today I went in for an acai bowl, very excited that they finally offer them! I was terribly disappointed :( It took forever, it was soooo watery, not your usual sorbet acai consistency.... And it had no flavor whatsoever! I've had many acai bowls in my life and the ones I make at home are 100x better. There was hardly ANY sweetness, and no toppings such as honey or peanut butter were available to give it some much needed taste. I love this cafe. Food is so fresh. You must try their vegan "spaghetti and meatballs" (Squash with mushroom meatballs and fresh tomato sauce) Its amazing. I also love their Chia with granola as a dessert. Not too sweet but delicious. The fresh squeezed juices are also on my buy list every other day. I love the fresh Raspberry Juice, Turmeric Orange, and Lemon Zinger. The owner is also a very knowledgeable lady who gives great advice for all healthy food questions and cleanses! When I start my day with breakfast from Pureganic Cafe it's always a great day. They have amazing healthy options to start your day right including incredible smoothies and shakes. I work in Greenwich, CT but if I'm lucky enough to have time to grab lunch there, I am never disappointed by the variety of healthy and delicious options. I have not tried everything on the menu but so far everything I have ordered has been incredibly tasty and delicious and I never feel sluggish or tired afterwards. Pureganic is the perfect place to kick off your new years resolution of eating clean! I went in the other day on a quest to achieve my 2020 goals and was pleasantly surprised. Their dishes were fresh, organic and delicious! Some of my favorite dishes was the avocado salad, veggie burgers and the taco salad bowl! I am also interested in trying their customized meal plans catered to my liking. One of my favorite desserts I tried was the apple tart, I was amazed at the fact that is was dairy free, sugar free AND gluten free! I look forward to visiting again soon! read more

I am happy to have found this place. It's $8.95/lb from the salad bar, $7.95 for smoothies and juices, and 7.95 for their sandwiches. They offer free bottles water which is also a nice positive. While everything is served cold, only about half the dishes are raw. They have raw/live dressings but usually don't carry all of the ones listed when I've been there. Sunny onion is my favorite. Signs for each dish would be a positive and it can be a pain having to ask exactly what is in each and every dish and how it was prepared. The only thing this place is missing are fresh, cold pressed organic juices. read more

I've been eating at Andy's for about 6 months after moving to the area. It's a consistently good place to grab a healthy meal. I often pick up salads or soup to have for a no cook meal. I like their simple approach to creating healthy, organic food. Their soups are all delicious (lentil, tomato basil, broccoli and zucchini are amongst my favorite). I also like their veggie burgers, kale salad, lentils and tofu from the bar. Smoothes are good, but they are a bit pricey and i can replicate them at home for much less money.
