Ok pizza, not the best by NY standards by far, but a nice traditional pizzeria that reminds me of all the summers spent at Grandma's.

The dining room was moderately packed, but with a reservation we were seated right away. Street parking can be tight, but there's ample parking in the rear and valet was available that night, which made things easy. The space feels modern and open, with a strong bar program and a solid list of specialty cocktails. My Smoked Old Fashioned arrived releasing a rich, smoky aroma that immediately set the tone. We started with Alessia's Crostone and the Hot Antipasto, a generous spread of shrimp, baked clams, calamari, mussels, and eggplant parm. I ordered the Frutti di Mare, and they did not hold back on the seafood. Clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp layered over pasta in a bright marinara made for a balanced, satisfying dish. Others had the Shrimp Milanese, crisp and vibrant with arugula and red wine vinaigrette. Portions are ample, service is attentive without rushing you, and the restaurant has a warmth that's hard to fake. When birthdays are celebrated, the sparkler candle and music bring the whole room together. This remains one of our go-to spots.

The bread is excellent. Salads were ok. Several in my party commented that their entrees were under-flavored. This included the broccoli rabe with bits of sausage, a chicken dish and a fish dish. Meatballs by the way were excellent. Prices and service were fine. In a very crowd Italian restaurant scene- would I ever go back? Good question. I feel like I needed something special for me to travel to Mamaroneck and not sure this was it.

We will usually stay with a spot for a few years, grow tired of it, and then try somewhere new. That is what brought us to 25 North. For the preceding three Easters, we were at another restaurant in Westchester - however it grew stale. I decided to look at other options, and remember having a great meal here at 25 North back in 2018 when I originally wrote my review. That being said, we booked it and made plans to dine here for Easter Sunday dinner. As I expected being a holiday, I walked into a crowded and loud restaurant. The layout is interesting - the dining room is separated into three levels with a small flight of stairs separating each of them. We were seated on the top level of the dining area, which was the best place in my opinion as it was the quietest- we were 19 people and only two other tables were in our vicinity. Decor was inoffensive - typical Westchester Italian restaurant aesthetics. What I liked about the Easter service at 25 North was that we were able to order off the regular menu - though they did have a few specials for the holiday. We decided to order apps family style for the table: drunken clams, string bean salad, sausage and broccoli rabe rolls, and fried calamari. These were all solid; the drunken clams were by far my favorite - super flavorful sauce and served with sausage and big cloves of garlic. The weakest IMO were the sausage and broccoli rabe rolls - I will say its partly because I expected more of a bread roll, but these were like egg rolls which made them a little to greasy for me. The sauce it came with though was tasty with a mild heat. For my main I got one of their specials - crab stuffed shrimp. This was six generally stuffed shrimp served on top of spinach in a light sauce. I really liked this dish - even though it looked like a lot, the crabmeat was light and the spinach made it so I didn't feel stuffed after finishing the dish. For dessert, I had tiramisu - on the menu they described it as a slice of goodness and that's exactly what it was. Service was great - they were on top of it and made sure food came out at a good pace and we were fully taken care of. Overall, my holiday experience at 25 North solidified my opinion that this is one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester. I'll definitely be back sooner rather than later.

There's so many other good Italian places with big portions that are cheaper so I don't think I would come back here. Dessert was also subpar.

We ordered a bunch of entrées ranging from 3 ravioli, specials, with vodka sauce minus the peas, chicken, Parm, and spaghetti, fillet of sole and chicken franchise. The food was good, the problem was the service. We had asked for no peas on the three ravioli specials two came out with no peas and the third had peas. Unfortunately, our waiter was nowhere to be found. I think he was the bartender. Several times we had to flag down a bus boy and ask where the waiter was. The restaurant was not busy. Nobody came around and asked if we wanted another drink, we felt very neglected. The bus boy tried to make up for it, though. I have to give him that. There was too much chatter going on at the bar and not enough attention to the patrons. There were only a few tables seated, so they're really was no reason for this.
