Forest pizza, raw cabbage and all
    Chris K.

We saw the pizza was recommended as Michelin Guide and figured why not give it a try, both pizzas were underwhelming. We tried the Margherita and Forest pizzas, neither looked anything like the website. The Margherita pizza was tomato sauce and cheese and soaked through the undercooked crust leaving it a soggy mess. To make things worse there was only one tiny leaf of basil. The forest pizza was somehow even worse, they just placed a large quantity of raw cabbage on top after the pie was cooked. There's better pizza options for a fraction of the price within a 5 minute walk. The drinks also left a lot to be desired, lemon twist in a martini? The waiter was pleasant and the overall atmosphere was nice but the pizza left a lot to be desired.

A lovely cafe / restaurant on the ground floor of this gorgeous shopping centre. Coffee is good and they have plenty of food options including wood fired pizza on offer. Never actually eaten here before but the ambience is lovely and staff are quite nice and friendly.

I was worried about the service before coming here but when I saw their pizza was a Michelin guide I thought I would take the chance. Not only was the service so so good but that PIZZA. I've never had anything like it. It was hands down the best I have ever had.

Went in May 2022, both the pizza and drinks were great. Great ambiance in the restaurant and bar as well.

Seemed a good offer but wasn't accepted by the restaurant

Place is nice and atmosphere as all. Food was nothing special but menu have quite a few options. Also a lot of options in terms of cocktails. Check-in with yelp, that gave me a 10% off, although the person in charge didn't accept the voucher and didn't give any discount.

Thai Prawn Salad. 10/10 would eat again.

Went in for coffee and really relaxed vibe. Plants everywhere so tables well spaced out. Will be back to try the pizza

Portions were very small and found some food very lacking in flavour. Staff were slightly rude, barging by us

Usually, the dining room comprises an underground hideaway that is quite sleek and intimate. However, due to the lockdown measures, we had to do outdoor seating directly on William Street while we were there. The experience was still beautiful, thanks to the surrounding scenery. The cocktails were grand between the P61 Signature Cocktail and the Hugo -- both prosecco-based cocktails. The former was delicious between the peach puree and prosecco, while the latter was a little more tart with the elderflower cordial. For dinner, we kicked things off with gluten-free bread with a trio of dips that were quite tasty. The Tortellini I ordered was exquisite and scrumptious with how it was prepared between the goat cheese, asparagus, red onion, wilted spinach, cream sauce, and bacon. I applauded this lovely dish with the last bite. I devoured the warm almond flour brownie for dessert, served with chocolate sauce and gelato, which my wife could also enjoy since the dish was gluten-free. Overall, Platform 61 was a great way to conclude our second Irish journey. We will return, especially to enjoy the underground dining area.

The ambiance is very nice as well, romantic but also good for a fun night out with friends. 10/10 recommend adding this to your itinerary for dinner!

We ordered the "java" (meat) menu, along with 2 of their tapas (sweet sambal udang and Javanese short rib of beef), and an extra side of rice. We appreciated the variety of flavors in this single meal. Some things that stood out: 1. The noodles in the noodle dish were of a great texture and were spicy (which I loved) 2. You could tell the short rib really had been cooked for 10 hours bc of how it fell apart and melted in your mouth 3. The beef redang and kari Java (lamb) has a generous portion of meat. If you want to enjoy the sauce completely, I recommend asking for an extra side of rice to eat it with 4. The satay was fried! It was my first time having fried satay and hopefully not my last Overall the meal was fantastic and because of that, it made me feel less guilty about getting Indonesian while in Dublin. Definitely check it out!

An excellent find in the heart of touristy Temple Bar!…read more I split the Java tasting menu with a friend and also ordered some pork bao buns. This was more than enough food! One of the tasting menus would almost be too much for one person to eat. Everything was fantastic though. I especially likes the Javanese short rib dish (very tender and melt in your mouth) as well as the pork bao bun. Overall, a great restaurant that I would come back to next time I am in Dublin!
