Because the work took place on a Sunday, I wasn't able to obtain pre-approval from the warranty company, which led to some complications. I paid by personal check and received a handwritten receipt under the name "SoCal Plumbing." When I submitted it, the warranty company indicated that the license associated with that name was expired and not tied to a plumbing business. I followed up with Carlos, and he provided a different license under the name "G Del Plumbing and Rooter," which was valid. Initially, he and his team were helpful in trying to provide the necessary documentation, although the process took time due to back-and-forth with the warranty company. The warranty company eventually agreed to partially reimburse the cost but required a final invoice showing both the diagnosis and proof of payment. The invoices I received continued to show a balance due, and as the 30-day submission deadline approached, I attempted to follow up multiple times by phone and text but did not receive a response. As a result, I may not be able to complete my claim and get partially reimbursed for this emergency. I was quoted a range for the price and of course the actual amount was the highest price in that range.
