I found the food here good, but not a stand out. The burger was reasonably priced, I did not try the hot dog on this visit. The appetizers seemed expensive for what was received and seem to be general commercial foods from one of the restaurant distributors. I would call it OK. You've had plenty of tables and a nice interior. As I said, the food was nothing that would bother you over, but it might fill you up. That being said, I would go back to try the hotdog or have another hamburger but that's it. read more

Tried this new venture for some takeout yesterday . Had a Dirty Burger, Quarry Dog, and onion rings. Picked up promptly after ordering to ensure fresh & hot. My overall first impression is that they either need to toast the buns more or switch to a type more structurally sound than Martin's Potato Rolls. The buns didn't hold up to the toppings and were soggy. The burger and dog were flavorful but they need to be more generous with toppings, especially on an all-the-way dog. The Taylor Ham jam on the burger didn't jump out at me as having big flavor. The onion rings were soggy not crispy and there were only 7 and a half of them which doesn't seem like great value. The sauce that came with the onion rings was delicious. I'd try this place again but will probably just get a burger. read more

Awesome burgers..Though wish the buns werent so soggy. Menu says they are toasted? Mine was just mushy...I had the dirty burger and despite the soggy buns it was still pretty good. Not being from NJ im not a huge taylor ham fan...However the Taylor Ham Jam was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...I also had the best fries (Expected some type of seasoning with a name like that) they were plain but tasted ok as well. Ordered the fried pickles and they tasted very bland. Ate two and threw the rest away. Could not even taste the pickles. My wife also had a the Rock burger and loved it minus the soggy bun. Also ordered the Stuffed churros, they were ok. Prices are very cheap, ..Overall..Id go there again for their burgers and fries. Just wish they used a name brand ketchup. Tasted like govt ketchup at a canteen on a military base...Its a few cents difference per pack.... read more

Every time I've ate at the Quarry Grill, I am amazed by how much the food tastes even better every time I eat here. Although the cheese curds and tatertots are my absolute favs, I can't get enough of the crispy pig burger...that cheddar cheese crisp can't find that anywhere else. read more

1st experience was excellent! Burgers are good. The "Ham jam" is WOW! Tried the Dirty Burger, French onion burger, sweet potato waffle fries, jalapeño cheddar dog, chicken nuggets, regular fries, corn bites, cookies and cream shake and enjoyed it all. The food came out in a timely manner. The service was good and the woman at the counter was helpful with all of our questions. The pictures on the wall of the quarry are pretty nostalgic. Simple, unique and delicious, i've only been here three times in the last two weeks and the family still loves it,even my mother-in-law likes it and she hates everything. If you're in the mood for a hamburger or hotdog try it you'll love it. It would get five stars if they had alcohol! read more

All right so let me start off by saying the burgers are amazing all the food there is great their prices are great they're so reasonable and it would cost me more probably to go to Burger King or McDonald's and I can go here and pay the same price or less and the food is 10 times better and better for you this place is so good I eat there like two three times a week and so does my family so all the work is there you guys and all the cooks and all the girls thank you for all the good food that you guys have provided for us it's amazing you guys do a great job keep it up I would recommend this place to everybody read more

1) clean place, i like the layout. it's very open 2) person on reg was really nice and helpful now for the burger. i got the dirty burger with swiss and onions. taste was 10/10. it had a little bit of spice in there which i wasn't expecting but i was very happy. but, the texture was meh. there was so much cheese and rock sauce on the burger that it got really soggy within a couple minutes, and it drowned out the taste of the actual meat. it was falling apart in my hands as i was eating it. the meat patties themselves were yummy though. juicy and flavorful. i'd go back to give it another shot, but i definitely will ask for less cheese and sauce next time read more

Been there 5 times. First time was good but a little heavy on the salt with those nice fries .We got a quarry burger and quarry dog,2nd time same exact thing even heavier on the salt on the fries and burger. 3rd time we got the order to go, learned my lesson and asked for very light salt all was great except stale hot dog rolls. They were actually hard and dry. 4th & 5th times were the same orders as past and were perfect. Overall this place is solid. Wait time on orders can be a little long,but every time we go to eat in or pick up they seem short handed they are always hustling doing the best they can. The two cheese curds I had were crispy, gooey, and delicious; my wife said the rest were pretty good Cheese sauce on the hot dog is homemade, has great flavor. Dirty burger & Crispy pig w/ Taylor ham jam were juicy & well seasoned. TH jam has a nice subtle heat, not enough to be "spicy". Strawberry/Oreo shake was thick & rich but not too heavy. We have been here many times in the past, so I was really disappointed today. The fries were so salty, I couldn't eat any more after the first bite. I spoke with the person in charge, he refunded my money on them. That was fine as I did not want them anymore because of the taste it left in my mouth. When I got back to my table, I saw that my wife had only eaten a couple of bites of her burger, she had to stop because it was also way too salty. She took it up, they threw it away and walked away. As I was leaving, I mentioned this to the person in charge, he responded that there is a new chef and he had to watch him on the way he was oversalting. This is a place that pays attention to detail. From the moment we walked in, the gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful and polite. We were not rushed because looking over the menu does take time since everything sounded so incredible. They have fried cheese curds all the way to fruity pebbles shakes! I mean I couldn't ask for more. I got the Rocker Burger (ahh amazing and Not too greasy!), nuggets and the "best fries" and wow it was phenomenal. My husband got the Quarry Burger, onion rings, and a dirty dog. He said it was so great and the best he has had. Now for Dessert!! We both got shakes and not just any shakes! I got a chocolate shake which tasted like a frozen hot chocolate it was truly delectable. My husband got a strawberry shake and his was extremely delicious as well. Let me start with my husband and I grew up with Hiram's in Fort Lee, it's with an I not a Y, and that is the best hot dog/hamburger place around. Not negotiable, not debatable. But when we moved here to Sussex we found nothing comparable, until we tried Quarry Grill! Listen, Hiram's has the big, deep fried dogs and burgers, we all know, but give these guys a chance! The buns could be better, but that's just bread, you want the deep fried hot dog, not the bun and that doesn't disappoint. The smashed burger COME ON! If you've had White Manna, if you know you know, think a bigger smashed version. The milkshakes are the prefect consistency and beyond flavorful! Not too thick, not too thin, Goldie Locks would approve. Try the CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH shake, I promise it leaves you wanting! And last, but most certainly not least, the French fries...ABSOLUTE GENIUS! To get a steak fry cut so thin it tastes like a potato chip, is absolute cheffing at its finest! Owner should really be on site more, especially when trying to start a business. Staff is not trained and when I paid was overcharged way to much. Girl did t know how to use cash register and called owner right in front of me. He answered and told her I would have to call him. Too busy to fix problem??? I had cashier call him back after getting and he resolved issue in about 20 seconds. Made customers behind me wait while time.
