Tried this place as they were a stop during the St. Patty's day bar crawl. Now, by time we got here sis was fairly toasted and starved. Haha. I had the gumbo and recalled it being yummy but again I was starving. Fast forward, I finished my nail appointment in ripple and had t eaten so I thought I give them a try. I got there early as the kitchen doesn't open until 5(not for sure if that's everyday). So I had a 15-20 minute wait which was totally okay with me. I asked my server which should I get: burger or wings and she suggested burger and I got the gumbo. The burger was underwhelming. Nothing special and the patty could have been a little thicker. I did appreciate the freshness of the burger salad. I like to cut my burgers. So I got up from my area and walked to the bar to ask for one. Didn't mind that at all but this is where I have a side eye. My server gets up and is like "I believe there are some back here" referring to their patio area. Proceeds to point in that direction and doesn't grab it for me. Smh. I remind her about the gumbo she apologizes and comes back out with it about 10 min or so later. The gumbo indeed was tasty. Has a nice kick that's not too much. However I could have used more meat. I had 4 quartered sausages only. The gumbo was my favorite and I'd return there for that. My rating is based on the spotty service. While she checked in on me, having me grab my Own knife after she got up did not sit well especially since at the time I was the only person there. And also the burger itself wasn't super filling.

This place is a whole vibe from the live band to the cozy feel. It feels like you are hanging with friends in their garage with the band. The food is great but one of my meals was a but fishy it still was good. The drinks are awesome and our server, Emily, provided great service and with her personality made the evenkng even more enjoyable. Definitely a place to check out.

I went here with some friends and was hungry so ordered the tater tots and beignets. The taster tots were absolutely perfect and crisp. Brought back elementary school lunch feelings, but these were much better! Also couldn't pass up the beignets with a side of chocolate sauce. The beignets were good, too.

We stopped in after riding our bikes up to Carmel and back on the monon. The vibe is pretty chill in here with a nice long bar. They have an expresso martini machine, which is jamming and super cool. The food menu has been paired down and The offerings were a bit slim. We opted to split a shrimp po boy. It was good, but nothing special. The service here though was way over the top. The bartender waitress was quick with acknowledging us and brought us our cocktails pretty quick. The cook split our po boy and brought it out on 2 plates with more than adequate fries on each. Pretty good deal for only $13. The place was full when we left because they had karaoke starting up.

My husband and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary with A to Z date nights. For Q we went to The Quarters and it was the perfect discovery! We had Sam as our waiter and he was amazing!! Personable and energetic. Just made our experience great. Loved the Étouffée, pimiento appetizer, fried mushrooms and Beignets!Highly recommend for a night out.

Great spot to sit outside, hear live music and grab a happy hour beverage! We stopped in around 5 pm and had a few well drinks plus split the gravy fries. I loved the addition of the horseradish cream on top. FYI: There wasn't necessarily "service" from food. You order on a QR code on the table and they text you when your food is ready to pick up at an outside window.

Great addition to Broad Ripple, a mainstay for kickball leagues now due to CCA alignment. Happy hour is one of the best around so this is a great spot for eats and drinks. I enjoyed the Gator Po Boy, it was reminiscent of my time in New Orleans. The gravy tots caught me by surprise because of how decadent the gravy is. A lot of gravy topped dishes has flavorless gravy so I didn't expect much but wow the gravy is full of beef and flavor. Checked out the chef's story on their website, it's a good story. You can taste the passion, I recommend trying the food.

The Quarter has quickly become one of my new favorite spots! It has that New Orleans flair...the food, the drinks, the decor. Plus, there's live piano every Wednesday and Friday. We were lucky enough to be there on one of these nights. So much fun! We had the Crispy Gator Po Boy and Gumbo...all bursting with flavor. The hurricanes are fire! I'd put them up against ones you get in NOLA any day. The service is attentive, friendly and fast. He really hustles!! So excited to have this New Orleans-inspired restaurant in Broad Ripple! I highly recommend it!

This is such a neat place! It is like a big indoor/outdoor (fabulous patio) food truck! You ordered drinks from the server, order your food online, and they bring your drinks and or you can pick up or they bring your food from the window. The only thing we would've done differently is order in shifts. Because once you order, everything comes out at once. The specialty drinks looked interesting but I didn't try one. Everything was excellent. The burger was excellent- the honey pepper sauce was delicious! Pork belly OMG. Seafood gumbo was amazing. We actually tried to go two nights but they had a private event on Saturday. Go try it. You won't regret it!

Stopped in for brunch and as usual was not disappointed, I ordered the Crawfish étouffée. It was amazing. Great flavor and beautiful presentation. Felt like I was Nawlins!! I ordered a PBR, but they also have several craft beer selections. Stop in and give brunch a try, and you will enjoy the atmosphere and awesome friendly service from their amazing staff!

The Quarter is a New Orleans inspired bar with a variety of drinks and a food truck serving a menu of sandwiches, snacks, and Louisiana style food. I liked the clean and stylish atmosphere, but would love to return on a night where they have live music or a nicer day when I could enjoy the patio. We tried the Blackened Catfish and FQ Burger and it satisfied our cravings! I hope as they continue to grow, they expand the menu to include more unique options that you can't order elsewhere like their gumbo and Bayou Fry Up.

If you are a seafood lover like I am the quarters where you wanna go. I heard about it. I really didn't know where it was located or what all they serve but I went on a Sunday At opening time and was able to meet the manager. They had back when they have indoor and balcony seating and I Purchase the shrimp boil let me say he was great. There are pictures of places that are really not well known in New Orleans. They have a piano for people to come and play, also popcorn that's popped fresh daily. The dish comes with shrimp, potatoes, corn, two slices of bread, butter, and a couple of lemon wedges. I'll definitely go back and try it again and will dine in. A bonus, that won me over Was being told that the lead cooks in the kitchen were from New Orleans.

We revisited "The Quarter". This time we got the Cajun chicken tenders and fries. The chicken was seasoned well with a crumb coating and crispy. The dips were a voodoo honey and Nola ranch. The honey was sweet and savory. This was the preferred sauce. The fries were seasoned well. The staff was attentive. We enjoyed our 2nd visit.

Until today, the best gumbo that I've ever had (outside of NOLA) was at a place that used to be on Mass Ave called R Bistro.

I love that it effortlessly transforms from a cozy coffee shop by day into a cocktail bar at night--the vibes are immaculate no matter when you visit. The staff was exceptional and so helpful in walking me through the menu. One of my favorite things to do is ask the baristas what they recommend, and they definitely didn't disappoint. Some were quietly relaxing while others were catching up over drinks. The coffeehouse-meets-cocktail-bar aesthetic is well executed and gives the space a distinct personality. I ordered the nonalcoholic Basil Needs a Break, and it was excellent. If you like basil, this drink definitely delivers. It was bright, refreshing, and very basil-forward. The service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature inside. It was nearly 100 degrees outside, but the bar felt warm with very little air circulation. It was almost refreshing to step back into the muggy heat after leaving, which probably isn't the feeling you're hoping to give your guests. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and atmosphere, but I'd hope for a cooler temp next time.

I don't know why this pub flew under my radar, because apparently, it's been around since 1979. It's older than me! (By a hair, if we're keeping it 100.) Connor's Pub ain't nothing fancy, but it doesn't need to be. This is a neighborhood bar where you come to get a beer or a shot or a cocktail, and then just chill. The bar is dark and cool, a space to just hole up and relax. I visited to get a cheeky drink, as I sometimes do. I got a Rhinegeist Truth IPA, which they had on tap and is somewhat local, because it comes from Cincinnati. It was nice and refreshing, and the bartender did her best to make sure that the beer was presented with not a lot of head. They were out of my first choice, the 3 Floyds Zombie Dust, but I enjoyed my pint of my second-choice beer. They do have a food menu here, but I get the feeling that you don't come to Connor's for food. Because when I asked to see the menu, the bartender looked like I asked for a W-9 form. OK, I get it! This is a place for drinks, and as such, it totally serves its purpose.

My sides were fries(crinkle cut) and salad (a blen of iceberg and green leaf along with other veggies and cheese). Served with Texas toast. Overall a good value meal! Worth stopping for. The atmosphere was ok. A little stale and preppie. I believe they have another bar area which is divided by a wall, I cannot comment on that if so.
