Great food & servers. I will return soon the next time I'm in town. I hope this helps someone make their decision. Thanks for listening.

Espresso Martini (inna fancy glass)

I came here for a solo date. I was feeling like old money with a bit of cash to blow. I got the Caesar salad and the Australian Wagyu Ribeye, served RH Surf & Turf style. Unconventional to "tarnish" wagyu like that, I know, but it was what I wanted and I use my free will! For sides, I had the sweet potato brulee, mac and cheese, and I believe the creamed spinach. For dessert, I had the Brûlée. I ate the ice cream at the restaurant but took the rest to go. I needed privacy and the ability to take my time with it! ‍ Let me tell you, this was the best money I have ever decided to blow. The entire meal, I was miffed that I have lived here for over two years and have never stepped foot in there! All I know is I was craving espresso martinis for weeks after I had theirs! It is the BOMB DOT COM. Eating here had me feeling like I flew myself out. I rarely splurge or spoil myself, so that was such a treat and I am so happy with the result. Service was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the food had no notes. My wagyu was a perfect and TRUE medium rare the first time! I usually have to send steaks back because nobody seems to actually understand what medium rare means around here. So, double props and thanks to the chef! This is the best decision when it comes to a delicious 10/10 meal.

My family and I take a yearly trip to Gulfport and usually my Dad likes to get a nice dinner at Half Shell Oyster House. It's been pretty bad the last two years in a row so this year we decided to try the owner's other restaurant! The Rack House looked very nice upon entry (other than some very dusty barrels which happened to be located right next to our table) and they were playing pleasant ambient music at the perfect volume. We were promptly seated and it didn't take long for our server to get drinks started for us! Most of us ordered waters, but my Mom ordered an extra dirty martini that unfortunately came out as being way more alcohol-heavy than she normally likes, but she didn't bring it up to our waiter. We got the sticky ribs as an appetizer, which the whole table agreed were VERY good. Our waiter was very polite and attentive and brought some free rolls and a variety of butters for us to try as well! My mom ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta while my dad ordered a steak. The pasta was good, but wasn't anything super special for the $23 price tag on it, and sadly my dad's steak came out very gristly and overdone. We told our waiter about the issue and he was quick to take it back to the kitchen to have a new steak made. While we were waiting, multiple managers (or at least what I can only assume were managers) apologized to us about the issue and assured us the new steak would be out soon. Our waiter--accompanied by one of the managers--brought the new steak out, and they waited to make sure it was cooked correctly this time as my dad cut into it. The second steak was an improvement, but it still wasn't very good. My dad didn't want to make a fuss about it and said it was alright. When our check came we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had comped the steak for us. Overall, it was a fairly good experience. The food wasn't terrible, and when there was a mistake the staff was more than happy to correct it. It seems like the people who run the place really do prioritize the guest experience and want people to be happy with the food they're paying for! I'm hoping it's just an unfortunate coincidence that their food just didn't measure up to the price tag this time, but it's difficult to say with only having visited once.

Awesome dinner! Blackberry margaritas were delicious. Tomato basil soup was good. Filet was ordered medium rare came out more like medium but was good w garlic butter sauce and crab meat! Server Rebecca was awesome very professional and friendly!

Coffee to finish off the night.

My handsome hubby and I were out for a much needed dinner date and had the pleasure of Rebecca H serving our table. She was a joy each time she visited the table, offering her assistance to attend to every need. The food was wonderful, I 10/10 recommend the bacon wrapped scallops, wedge, and filet &lobster! Hubby enjoyed the Surf n Turf (NY Strip) -- Be sure to go, and ask to be placed in Rebecca's section!

On our recent visit we had no reservations, but we were easily able to get a table upstairs looking over the main floor of the restaurant and enjoy an excellent meal. We loved the 8 oz Filet, Faroe Island Salmon, Fries & Garlic Biscuits. The Steak and Salmon were grilled to perfection and the garlic biscuits were a wonderful surprise. Service was top notch, the food was first class. This is now my go to restaurant for when I am in the area.

We had a 7:30 reservation but weren't seated until 8:15. The staff was very apologetic, but it still wasn't fun to wait that long. I had planned on ordering pasta, but our waitress advised against it, mentioning that on busy nights it tends to be dry. Instead, we went with the steak and chicken.. both were delicious! The drinks were reasonably priced and fine overall, though nothing standout. The food definitely carried the experience. The restrooms were clean, and the overall vibe was nice, though it could benefit from some background music since the noise from conversations gets pretty loud. Overall, not bad at all.

Planning on bringing a party of 15 to celebrate our mother's 80th year on earth? Are there table arrangements to accommodate a party that size in August aroung the 5th or 6th? Ty in advance.

I'm just a customer who really enjoyed the food. I would give them a call and make reservations. It would be a great place to celebrate her birthday! Oh, bring a coat. The air conditioning is excellent.

That depends on the third-party you're ordering delivery through Theodore.

We were scraping the plates clean because everything was so good. This is located right on the beach across from the harbor in Long Beach, in an elevated building that has been a few other restaurants over the years. About 3/4 of it is inside seating with a smaller porch/balcony outdoor part that is also air conditioned when they close all the doors. For starters, we got a dozen grilled oysters that had this excellent garlic butter sauce and cheese added. They were average size as you can expect but much better than what we've gotten from Half Shell the past few times we went. We also got the fried alligator bites which were more tender than any gator I've ever had before, and came with an excellent dipping sauce. I ordered the seafood platter for my meal and couldn't finish it. On top of a large bed of french fries were a bunch of shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, and one large catfish filet that was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the Taste of Acadiana which came with three different cajun staples including gumbo and jambalaya. I sampled some of hers and really liked them all. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't all that busy, but our service was good and they kept our drinks filled. I can't wait to go back!

The service was really friendly and my food came out very quickly. Prices were reasonable and I didn't see a hugely extensive menu tho several of the burgers were unique without being outstandingly weird or out in left field. One thing I am DEFINITELY taking off a star for is charging a 3% surcharge to the customer to offset using a debit or credit card. I own a small business and I 100% feel like this is a cost of doing business and not something to pass on to the consumer. Or, if you're going to charge that kind of surcharge, let there be a purchase minimum, say 5 to $10. It annoys me when businesses do this. It seems needlessly "penny-pinchy" and if you're going to accept credit cards and debit cards for the convenience of the customer, that is what you accept as a business owner. My business accepts this as it cost to doing business, I absolutely feel like this is the cost of doing business by the owner, and I will die on this hill. That aside, the food was really good. Fries were hot and crispy and the burger fresh and juicy. Highly recommend and I'd pay with cash, like I did to avoid the "customer convenience fee" which is anything but convenient!

Disappointing Experience at Prime Cut After Years of Loyalty…read more My husband and I had dinner at Prime Cut in the Beach View Casino on Friday night. We have been loyal guests for six years and usually enjoy exceptional meals and service, which made this visit especially disappointing. We began with the Lollipop Lamb Chops in a fig balsamic glaze, along with the pepper soup and spinning salad. The pepper soup was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious, and the spinning salad was just as good as always. After finishing our soup and salad, we waited over 30 minutes for the next course. When the food finally arrived, it was not the lamb chops we had ordered as our appetizer, instead, our main courses were brought out. I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived well done, and my au gratin potatoes were overwhelmed with cheese. My husband's fish was prepared correctly, but his creamed spinach was noticeably overcooked. When we asked about the missing lamb chops, our waitress whom we had only seen once the entire evening returned to say they were bringing them out but would remove them from the bill. I also mentioned my overcooked steak, and it took another 15 minutes to receive a replacement. I requested to speak with the manager to express my concerns about the delays, the missing appetizer, and the improperly cooked entrée. His only response was, "Well, I took the lamb chops off your bill," before walking away. That level of dismissiveness was unacceptable. We have always received gracious, attentive service here, which is why this experience stood out so sharply. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been noticeably slower with declining service.

Had I not had some comp $$$ from the casino, this would be s 3 star. Seating and ambience was ok,…read moreneither splendid nor poor. The staff was about the same really. A surf and turf for me and a lamb chop for her. Was not asked how either of us wanted our proteins prepared but rather told thru the menu. Ok, fine. The fillet came out to the billed medium rate and was seasoned perfectly to where no sauce/glazes were really necessary, but were enjoyed. The 3 shrimp skewers wrapped in bacon were drenched in a sauce that overpowered the entire skewer. I'd asked because the shrimp were a jumbo red Argentina that were different than what could be caught around the Northern part of the Gulf on the what the difference and was told "if you don't eat shrimp that often, you won't notice they are a bit sweeter". While I don't, that sauce certainly negated the possibility of me seeing a difference. The wife's lamb chops were good, but we prefer rare to well done. They weren't cooked to the point of being inedible, but could have been better. The sides of the gratin potatoes and sweet potato mash were...average. Because we paid almost half off our dinner, I rated higher. Had I paid full price, I probably would have complained and definitely sent the lamb back. And a 3 star rating would've been warranted.
