I have visited this cafe over the last few months and have loved trying their new items they always seem to have. My boyfriend regularly enjoys the breakfast burrito and we have a pastry and apple butter to try soon as well! We always felt welcome there, as it is great place to sit and relax. I also love that they host weekly events, the owners seem very involved in the quality of what they sell and the environment they do it in.. Ps: I also just tried the asparagus soup and nettle crisps, and I will be thinking about how good it was later... wish I got a bigger bowl! Thanks Jason and Janice

Our server Kelly was so helpful telling me about the veggie special of summer squash parmesan sandwich which was delicious. My hubby had a burger which he said was excellent as were the fries. I first heard of Country Girl after watching Chronicle approx. 2 year ago. The whole experience was awesome! We ordered drinks immediately after taking our seats at the counter. I had a pepsi and I had to order a vanilla milk shake to go! My wife had water and coffee. We wanted to get our order in because we felt like the staff was nice enough to let us in that we didn't want to stall them from getting out at closing. My wife had grilled cheese with tomato soup. I had a burger with fries. My wife was thrilled with the soup. She said it was the best tomato soup she has had in a long time! My fries were excellent. home made and tasty! You can see in the pictures that the diner is set up with booths and a counter top. I am told that they are busy year round. I can see why because the food and service is fabulous. The staff was so nice and welcoming! Price: fair Parking: plenty of parking in the lot Vibe: great music...welcoming Would I come back again? Yes, I would love to visit in the summer on a beautiful warm day! 5-stars!

I had an omelet off of the Specials menu with Pineapple, ham and mozzarella...Basically a Hawaiian Pizza but in an omelet. Very good, if you like Hawaiian Pizza. The home fries didn't have much color to them but we're actually cooked through and tasted good With a nice texture. The only draw back was our server, while efficient, had like in the way of people skills. Every interaction was as short as possible. Not bad, just not good. Lots of items to shop for if you are a tourist.

We finally decided to try out S&S and I found it good, but not worth the 5 stars everyone gives it pancakes = well cooked, round, pretty standard. don't get 4 pancakes unless you want be in a pancake induced coma. also, they put a literal small ice cream scoop size of butter on the pancakes. Only IHOP does that and it's way too much butter. If you are eating all of that butter, you might need an extra dose of lipitor. Toast = kind of boring S&S pancakes = kind of tasted like pancakes with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Home fries = those were good I was there with two 16-year olds who both thought the food was "mid". I did see a small girl sitting with plate in front of her that had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream piled so high, that it was almost as tall as her. Her eyes were huge and she was trying to figure out where to start. That waffle looked pretty good and as I passed the table, her dad was leaning in to "help out and keep the plate clean". They sell a lot of baseball hats and t-shirts.

I ordered the Ruby's special french toast, and my partner ordered the sweetheart strawberry cream crepe. I am a HUGE fan of pastry cream, and it is difficult to find dishes that use just pastry cream and not diplomat cream (or just plain old whipped cream). My food was delicious and I was so pleased with the quality of the cream. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed his crepe. They have a wide variety of food so there is something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable. We picked up an eclair on the way out, which was also filled with pure pastry cream (a rarity!!). This will become a regular place for us when we're in the area. The only thing to note is that they don't have a large staff; when we were there there was one person working FOH and one in the kitchen. This can cause a longer wait time for your food ( we probably waited about 45 min after ordering), but I think it's worth it.

Stopped in on Saturday midday thinking I was going to get a latte and maple creemee. However when I get there, I saw some guys drinking beers at the bar which piqued my interest so I took another look at the menu. Why not get an Affogatotini? Caffeine and a maple creemee all in one! This was DELISH! The girls that work here are so nice. I visited twice in the same day and both times this place was swamped. They took it in stride and still had a smile on their face while working through the line. The Maple Reserve offers ice cream / creemees, coffee, pastries and serves alcohol. They have a little area where you can also buy pure Vermont maple syrup, jams, sauces, small kitchen accessories, etc.

I saw one woman chilling on her laptop who had bought 3 things for herself: a cup of ice cream, some sort of cocktail, and a boba drink. She looked like she was loving life. Made with espresso from locally roasted coffee beans, the affogato with maple creemee was absolutely divine. They drizzled more maple syrup atop the creemee. It wasn't too sweet and just perfectly creamy, as the name suggests. I was pleased to see that there were many gluten free options, including the waffles, which come on sticks like popsicles. Would make the 3 hour trip just to try those one day. The Maple Reserve is definitely Aya-approved.
