Ive felt everything I've ordered was worth it- so far I've gotten a cortado, yogurt bowls, the cafe breakfast, drip coffee, organic seeds, and their shelved food items have been wonderful. I have visited this cafe over the last few months and have loved trying their new items they always seem to have. My boyfriend regularly enjoys the breakfast burrito and we have a pastry and apple butter to try soon as well! We always felt welcome there, as it is great place to sit and relax. I also love that they host weekly events, the owners seem very involved in the quality of what they sell and the environment they do it in.. i stopped by on a weekday around 11 and was helped promptly. they have a decent sized menu of real brunch food as well as a large pastry/sweets case. they have a student discount which is always appreciated. once i ordered, service was very quick. i was also seated next to people gossiping about my boyfriend without knowing i was there, so breakfast and a show! i was thoroughly entertained and stayed here to "work" for about 4 hours. i ordered the house black iced tea with their seasonal triple berry syrup. the iced tea was not bitter at all, brewed very nicely, and the syrup definiteley added some oomph to the concoction. i also ordered the apple butter waffle, which was divine! the candied bacon complemented the sweeteness of the waffle very well. it's probably one of my favorite bites i've had in southern vermont. they also have games in the back corner if you need to provide your own entertainment. really cute spot and tasty spot! read more

Food is okay, service is genuinely horrendous we waited awhile for the check after. No refills no maple syrup for french toast. No taste to the french toast, i asked to sub out the bacon for sausage in the bee sting and they just added sausage with the bacon. It was too hot to enjoy the food with no AC. One of the people I went with ordered the waffles and it didnt come out until 15 minute after we all got our food saying they forgot it. They said they were going to comp the waffles for being forgotten but it was on the bill. I really hope that waitress was new. Live music is pleasant. Overall meh. read more

Had a wonderful breakfast here today. Tried the waffle sammie and was blown away by how the flavors really worked together. Love the Farmstand decor that is tidy suddle and right on point. I noticed several local products are sold there such as Green Mountain Granola and Goat milk lotion. Service was super friendly. We are adding it to our list of local go to spots! read more

This place just keeps getting better. I reviewed it when it first opened, and they were off to a great start! The food is well prepared and delicious, locally sourced as much as possible. The biggest change is that they have doubled there space to accommodate more customers and small groups! Need a place for a group meeting? Just call ahead and check the hours. My only criticism is the limited hours, but I understand. Maybe the summer will bring more days and some later hours! read more

Wish we took photos! We had the awesome breakfast bowl, hands down best we've had in a long time. Creative, fresh, flavorful!! Our friend had bacon, eggs, & toast. Toast was a beautiful rustic bread, eggs were farm fresh with the orangest yolks, and bacon was thick cut and of excellent quality as well. We did have an apple cinnamon scone which was so moist and almost fell apart, delicious. My husband had the everything bagels with delicious Cabot cream cheese... QUALITY FOOD with friendly and exceptional. Little marketplace/farm stand had great items as well. We look forward to going back. Very comfortable setting! Oh.. and very good coffees!! Took home a nice loaf of bread because it was so good! We were happy they were able to sell us one of theirs!! read more

My partner and I stopped into The Farmstand Café on Saturday afternoon around 12:40. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the menu was well organized, making it easy to find something appealing. After a few minutes of deciding, we chose a simple Apple Butter Waffle ($14) to go. At first, we were greeted with friendly faces and had no issues with customer service. However, after about 10 minutes of waiting, we noticed that other customers who came in after us were receiving their full meals while we were still waiting on our single waffle. We politely asked for an update and were assured it was coming, but still ended up waiting close to 25 minutes for just the one item. To their credit, the staff did offer us a free drink for the inconvenience, but by that point we no longer had much of an appetite and felt overlooked--especially given it was a slower day in terms of foot traffic. Overall, the food and atmosphere seem promising, but our experience left us feeling a bit forgotten. Hopefully, this was just an off day, because the café clearly has potential. read more

We absolutely loved this place! We attended with our whole family for a party of 14 guests and the owner Jason along with his team provided incredible service and hospitality, where it really felt like home . The vibe was very much so of a relaxing home environment. We really loved how everything was sourced from local farms and prepared that day. The quality of the food was some of the best I've ever had and we are in town again we will for sure be eating here. read more

Cute and clean cafe! Food was very good. I got a falafel bowl, and my only suggestion would be to put more of the roasted red Bell pepper and zucchini in the bowl, and maybe one more small falafel (there were three). My friend got the breakfast burrito and she liked it, as well. I also got a chocolate chunk cookie that was divine and a real bargain for $2.00. I recommend this place and want to return and try some other menu items. read more

Finally! A farm-to-table restaurant and gathering place. Run by the folks at Frog Hollow Farmstand, they offer great coffees, fresh breakfasts and lunches, and dinners to-go. Everything is local sourced and fresh from either their own farm or surrounding ones. They also feature all Vermont products, from drinks to jams to local honey. The dine-in menu changes monthly based on what's available. The 'Supper Club - Meals to Go' changes weekly. Some of the items we've enjoyed - the savory breakfast pastry, vanilla-almond scone, smoked gouda mac - everything has been fresh and delicious. My one suggestion would be to add some savory scones to the menu. In addition, they've set up the cafe as a gathering place with games and also some occasional game nights. The food and customer service at this cafe was outstanding. I have many dietary restrictions and am hesitant to eat out. The ladies here were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The food was great.
