My husband ordered Double Entendre: bourbon, pistachio, cacao; pistachio-y old fashioned. Bourbon is NOT my drink of choice, but I can tell you the prep showed great attention to detail; beautifully crafted clean, square shaved side, ice cube to perfectly chill the drink. Our waitress was very apologetic and sweet, and she did her best to make things right, even offering us 25% off our next visit. Unfortunately, there won't be a next visit. When a restaurant isn't busy on a Thursday afternoon, there's really no excuse for food taking so long that it ends up burnt and dried out. The waitress was wonderful, but ultimately, the kitchen is responsible for making sure decent, properly prepared food makes it to the table. The manager didn't even come over to our table. We did leave a generous tip.
