Very cool place! There are certainly a lot of places where you can buy ramen by itself and cook it at home, but part of coming here is all about the vibe. My husband and I selected the lobster and the chicken ramen and added some toppings and had a really fun time standing at the ramen tables. Lots of variety so this would be a good place to go with friends or a group because you can really customize your meal! read more

Food is a fun time. It's basically instant ramen brought to the max. You get to pick your favorite ramen (mine is carbonara buldak), then you can add all the topics you want. The service is amazing! The owners personally made sure we were helped as this was our first time at the location. Very friendly as well. I love instant ramen so of course I love this place. I tend to stick to my favorite brands so I love that I can try out just one pack out of so many different options here. The toppings bar is a huge plus. I wish the kimchi and yellow radish were included in the bar but I understand the business decision not to. I'd also love to see fish cakes or spam be options as well. All in all, getting stuffed on a $10 meal (because I had to get the kimbap) is a deal anywhere in NoVA. It was OK. The raman selection was kinda limited and I was expecting raman I can't get at hmart or lotte. The topping were limited but for $3 unlimited you can't complain. Well I can because my bowl was too small for me to load up. Haha. I had so much topping I had to break up my raman to be able to fit in the small bowl. Recently opened Ramen spot in Centerville that was very chaotic on the evening we dropped by. Part of the problem was that it was a bit busy, part of it was that groups were dropping by with lots of kids and nobody knew what they wanted and it took forever for them to decide. There was also only one guy seemingly running the entire place, from register, to troubleshooting the cooking machines, to answering questions, and wiping tables. I actually enjoyed for the most part the concept of choosing a ramen from the many they had on display. Probably could have done a better job at displaying them by type/flavor, but it was ok. The machines were real cool and not hard to use if you read the instructions. My biggest beef was that we got the unlimited toppings, and the topping bar was very picked through. There were no more eggs, and little of anything else. They aren't making anything on site, so replenishing the topping bar expediciously should really be a priority. read more

We went as a family as a fun way to kick off the holidays together with three daughters aged 18-27. Our first thought was "they should have this on campus, it would be so popular!" I couldn't wait to check out this cool and unique spot to the DMV. And how lucky am I as it's a short drive away in Centreville! My husband and I came around 9 pm and it was a bit let down as most of the toppings (including the egg) were gone. The fried chicken on their menu also isn't being served yet. I would think a place like this would be popular at night. Instant ramen is good anytime of the day, but especially at night. Even though we were disappointed, I do think this place has potential. The shelves of instant ramen were vast! They have vegan, halal, mild, medium, spicy, and extra spicy options. With that said, the majority of the brands were Korean, like nongshim and buldak. I do wish there were other varieties of ramen that I can't find at Lotte or H Mart but is that asking for too much. Do I think $5.50 is too much for one serving of instant ramen that I can find at the local Asian grocery store that's literally a 5 minute drive away? Yes. But for the experience of using the EZ cook, deciding among so many ramen options, using the soup disposal, getting wonderful service, and being in an environment full of ramen theme makes it worth it. Come here for a snack, not a meal. Unless you go back for seconds or thirds! Maybe when the unlimited toppings back is replenished and plentiful, like including hot pot toppings such as thinly sliced meats, then come here for a meal. read more

It's everything you would expect. The perfect spot for a short, quick lunch break. The prices are decent considering you pick your ramen and decide how many toppings you want. Surprisingly, it can get really packed. I wouldn't say it's a place to grab lunch with friends, as the seating is made more for 1-2 people, but it's a great place for a quick bite. It's almost completely self-serve, and the employees were really helpful when deciding on ramen! Definitely ask for some suggestions. read more

When you walk in there are tables with both standing and seated sections, then you walk into the section of ramen on the wall. Staff was great, helped us through the entire selection and process. I kept seeing it go across my sm feed and because my bf is into all things ramen & anything Korean Japanese etc. we went 12-26-24, they had sooo many noodle flavors & you can buy them individually to take home!. I got the Kimchi kind, my bf got Cheese, unlimited toppings for $3 but the beef galbi was 5! At the register, there was cabbage, tofu, halal beef meatballs, bean sprouts, any onion that you want , mushrooms , veggie dumplings etc. which was perfect because I didn't finish mine so I loaded the toppings and finished when I got home. Everything was very flavorful, Vera and Min were so kind Vera even came from around the counter to help she was so welcoming!! And very knowledgeable!! about all the noodles on the wall & drinks! They also serve snacks, extras, boba tea, veggie sushi like item. The Ramyun Zip is a very cool restaurant. They have all types of ramyun, sides, drinks, and great toppings. I highly recommend putting your ramen noodles in BEFORE the toppings.
