This was our second visit. Started with Caesar salad which was OK, but the dressing is on the sweet side, which is not my favorite. The mahi-mahi special was wonderful! Beautifully plated, moist and the mango salsa is perfect. Cocktail menu has some fun choices and the view is nice. The new chef, Peter seems to be doing well. My only issue was in regards to pricing. The main was on the high side , $28, but the special menu has no prices (see photo) which you sometimes see in high end restaurants. Just passable as far as food quality goes in clubhouse. Employees treat it and you in a way that it feels much more like a public course and not private. The course itself (Scottish links) is much better than the rest of the facility. I guess it is, for a private club, just okay. This is the reason I never pulled a membership even when there was no wait. read more

It's definitely a cozy little spot. A little out of the way but that's because it's on a golf course. If I had to try to describe it, I would say the decor doesn't fit the food. It feels fancy and upscale but the all day menu is hotdogs, hamburger, fish and chips (you get the picture ) now don't get me wrong, it's probably one of the better hamburgers in town but like I said decor doesn't match the food. *side note the best finger steaks in town. Make a meal out of those and you will be happy if you order a salad or fries with it. They have a dinner menu insert that they add starting at 5pm. It always has a pork, a chicken, a sea food and a beef but honestly it's just so-so for the price. Hmm what else, oh ya they never see you when you walk in. You have to peak around the corner and even then you might stand there 5 minutes before they see you and seat you. Every Flippin time. So that always irritates me before we even sit down. We always make reservations so that's why I get irritated with the lack of customer service. Servers never seem to stay the same so don't be surprised by less than stellar service. All in all not terrible but not worth a special trip. read more

My friend and I celebrate our May birthdays with a night out at a restaurant we have never been to. We chose Ranch Club. I have to say we were pretty disappointed and expected a lot more. Our server was not at all enthusiastic and seemed we were bothering her. I know, everyone has an off day but geez. Food and wine was mediocre for the prize. We can check it off the list. I know I will not be back unless someone invites me to an event there. Oh and there was three of us, server brings out our change and only hands two of us mints. We all looked at each other and started laughing and I even offered to share half of mine with my friend and the server said not a word. Weird. read more

Have had lunch there multiple times. Simple but well priced menu. Some of the best sweet potato fries I have had. Great view, service varies. Sometimes the staff is very attentive other times they have been disinterested. I would have done 3.5 if I could have. read more

I give it 4 stars based on the lovely setting and the fact that the staff is always super friendly and attentive. The food is really just ok. My salmon or steak is ALWAYS over cooked even though I make a point to ask it not be. We will keep going bc it's close to our house as we live in the country, but it seems like they really need to find a chef to pull that kitchen together. read more

If you want to sit in a beautiful setting to eat a $7 HOT DOG for dinner on a Saturday night with a $8 glass of wine this is the place for you. Closest thing to a real meal was a Chicken Ceaser, everything else was gas station food on a lettuce leaf. We were so put off by the menu we left... So much for a nice Birthday dinner. This is my favorite place in town! Food and atmosphere are great, staff is professional and friendly. Wine list is fabulous. The oudoor deck in the summer is the best fine dining there is in this beautiful valley! It is small and intimate, the only down side is if you want a romantic evening and you know a lot of people in town, you may have to socialize for awhile before or during your meal! read more

We made reservations for 25 people over a month ago. Upon arriving at the Restaurant we were informed they didn't have a reservation for us. I informed the staff that we had 25 people coming at 8:30 expecting food and drinks. The staff seemed unconcerned with our dilemma and really did nothing to help solve the issue. At that time, we decided to leave and find another restaurant to service our group. Not one solution was offered to serve our group and the entire staff seemed unwilling to even try and help. As we were leaving I said to the Lady in charge, we would have spent $ 500 - $ 600 on dinner and drinks, business must be good if you can turn down that type of sales. I will not recommend the Ranch Club to any of my friends or family. read more

We love the location... near where we live and great views and surroundings! We've been several times. Great service and food has been fine. Main draw back and the thing that keeps us from going there once or twice a week is the ridiculously high beverage cost. Lol... and no we're not a bunch of lushes! But do like to have a few drinks to relax. Pricing is closer to big city rates so can easily double the tab. Just not worth it! read more

This is a top 3 restaurant in Missoula. Everything here is great and the wine selection is the best in the city... If you're looking to do parties, they have a terrific room for it at a fairly reasonable price( I think I paid $800 for 25 people for my wifes bday). We got many bottles of wine and champagne as well as delicious apps. I looked like a genius picking out the wine and food, but the credit goes to the event planner at the ranch club. Elegant room, white table cloths, nice menu and good food BUT, the atmosphere was spoiled with the loud bar crowd in the same room. It is confusing to the dining customer as bar is in the same room as the fine dining. They need to decide whether they are a bar or a fine dining room, or change their menu and become a tavern. read more
