Been meaning to review The Ranch Pub as my family has been a few times now and enjoyed each experience! The Pub kept the charm of the former restaurant as far as comfy seating and large open space which we always enjoyed. Some nice upgrades to outside seating makes it even better now though. For us, the Ranch Pub is a most pleasant upgrade to the former restaurant here as far as food and drinks. The specialty cocktails are great and food from appetizers to main meals are fresh, tasty, and there is a variety of American, Italian, and Mexican items. My kids are pretty picky with guacamole but enjoy the Pub's and you can tell it is made fresh. There is Definitely something for everyone's tastes. They also have a great kids menu- my own enjoy the macaroni and cheese as well as the chicken tenders. The Ranch Pub is family friendly and a cozy spot to grab a bite. We will continue to frequent it and suggest you give them a try as well! read more

I'll start with the decor which was beautiful. Distressed barn doors, iron fixtures, farm tables. Nice vibe Our waiter was attentive and patient. I ordered steak fajitas that came with a accompanying plate or a little bit of yellow rice, black beans, sour cream, and guac. I was happy my fajitas came with alot of steak. Sometimes fajitas tend to be heavy veggie We were not sure why when my husband likes a rare steak his came out on a plate still sizzling . So the steak continued to cook. Luckily even though it was no longer rare. My husband did not need to send it back. His steak was still flavorful and juicy. Accompanying his dish was a small size of gravy or sauce. It was creamy with a peppery taste that he really liked. I was full so I did not even look at the dessert menu so I would not be tempted! read more

Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is the Wild West revisited crossed with a restored barn. An open dining area devided by half walls and glass walls, with a focal point on a beautiful fireplace and large mural depicting a cowboy herding a wild herd of horses. They have a large, sunny outdoor seating area. There is sporadic live entertainment. I had a Margherita made with Cointreau, whitch makes a huge difference, with a few leaves of fresh mint for added flavor dimension. I also had a Caesar Salad that included a well made dressing and freshly made croutons. They have limited but well chosen draught offerings, and a full bar with about 25 stools. The owner, Damir, has operated other successful local restaurants, and brings his experience to bear here. My server, Dickson, was attentive and polite. I had a freshly House made eclair for dessert, which was excellent and properly made. I also had a Keoke Coffee perfectly custom made by Dickson. The Western theme is unique to the area and will attract Western theme seekers. I'll definitely bring the wife next time! read more

Brought my family here for dinner on a busy Friday evening. It feels like a nice pub inside and has been cleaned up a bit since it was the Red Rooster Pub. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I had a pear old-fashioned which was good. I could taste the peach. My wife had the passion margarita, which she enjoyed. We order the giant pretzel as an appetizer. Which arrived quickly but was slightly burned. But it did not hurt it and the honey mustard and cheese sauces were good. I had a friendship that was good but could have been shaved thinner. The only real negative I'd like to point out is that for the southwest chicken wrap my daughter order we asked specifically for ranch as opposed to chipotle ranch didn't happen. Not the world's biggest deal. I thought I should mention it. The entrée seem a little overpriced in my opinion. But the quality of the food is good. read more

We recently hosted my daughter's baby shower here, and I honestly cannot say enough good things. From start to finish, the experience was over-the-top excellent. Previously, the Red Rooster in Newtown. We were mildly upset about them going out of business, but that has passed. The new owners are well-versed in restaurants (experience) and they are doing something great here. Although similar to the previous menu, the additions and revisions are fantastic. Exactly what was needed. We had the Skillet Nachos, Hot&Spicy Wings, and Al Pastor tacos. All delicious. Not the most obviously diverse plates, but as staples... they were perfect. For mains, we had Fish & Chips (I'm ALWAYS searching for the best) and the Chicken Bacon Sandwich. Both were good, but the Fish & Chips was actually great. I'm glad I found it. Servers were very friendly and the new decor was a significant update to the previous. Definitely worth a visit. This place is in business and bringing out the best. read more

First night, wasn't too bad. Much better than the red rooster. More of a 3.5 review. But anted to get a bit nit picky as I know they are working things out, and it's better to know now. Walk in and the hostess asked us if we had a reservation, which we did not, and the response was "Oh, let me see what I can do" but in a very friendly tone of voice. We were sat in the bar area (2 Adults and 2 Children, one is younger). It's not the best seating for young kids as they cannot sit close enough to the table to eat correctly. It was also VERY loud. I had to speak very loudly to the waiter and I was the closest. No soft feature to help absorb the sound. They also took the second door off and you can feel the cold draft all the way at the other end of the bar. Service. It was really good. But it was not all our food was brought out at the same time. About 10 minutes and our salads we ordered before our pasta dishes came out with the pasta instead of before. Everyone ate everything I brought half of mine home expecting to get dessert. We waited 30 minutes for someone to come to the table after we finished. And though I did ask for a dessert menu I just got the check. But everyone was really nice!! Let's get to the food. The pasta while the sauces were good, the pasta was clumped together a bit. The sausage was not very spiced on the Rigatoni which my husband liked. Both my sons got Ravoli but one was a kids version. They had the same amount of Ravoli for twice the price. Loved my Bolognese! And everyone loved the French fries. Am I nit picking, yup. Because I know they just opened and not everyone says anything and they can't fix what they don't know about. We will be back for sure!! read more

Very casual place with nice wooded interior and large U-shaped bar. Our waiter was attentive and brought us bread when bread is not typically served with the meal. My margarita was OK and the burger was decent, but the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, a special, was a fair bit less tender than I expected. I recommend sticking with basic pub food. read more

Improvement over the former Rooster. The menu makes more sense, and it includes tacos and burgers to full steak dinners. There is more to enjoy than the previous occupier of the building, and I felt there was more range to the menu. We loved the fireplaces, which were in full use, adding warmth to the room, both literally and figuratively. My burger was well prepared and delicious. My wife found her chicken dish to be fresh and also very good. Our sever was also attentive, inviting and friendly. No complaints tonight. We will be back. read more

My family and I came in for lunch for the first time and immediately we loved the place. First walking in, right off the bat the environment and employees made you feel right at home. All the staff meets you with a smile and greets you as you walk in and through to your table, and leaving everyone says have a nice day and are very polite and generous . The decor is beautiful and is a very warm and cozy. This was our first time trying the food here and it did not disappoint. We all ordered different burgers and they were all fantastic. My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday. I was in the mood for a good burger. We had not been to The Ranch Pub since it changed names but had been meaning to. We go out to dinner frequently and live in the area. When we arrived, there were only a few tables occupied so the place was not very busy. We ordered an appetizer of calamari to share. It came out pretty quick and was okay but for the price the portion was a little small. But I guess prices are going up for all food. My $18.50 Chili burger was delivered to the table by a kitchen staff person. I ordered the burger cooked medium, When I cut into it, it was raw and hardly cooked at all. Not a huge deal, but I wanted it cooked more so I could eat it. I waited for our server to come by the table for over 10 minutes. He was talking to friends at a table and never even looked our way. I finally got up and brought it over to the bar area and asked an employee to send it back to have it cooked more. After bringing it to the kitchen, that person went over to the server who was still speaking with his friends and told him. Our server came over and told me they would have it recooked and that it would only take a couple of minutes. Ten minutes later the burger came to the table but by then my wife was already just about finished with her meal and I was a bit annoyed waiting so long for a simple burger. So, I just took the burger to go, When I got home and opened the container. The chiliburger had almost no chili on it and was cooked well done. At least I can find something positive in the meal, the fries were good. My wife had the chicken taco special. It had no seasoning, and she was disappointed with her meal as well. We typically do not complain but between the quality of the food and the lack of service, I cannot give them a good review. I doubt we will be going back there, read more

Ok so the place is very nice inside and has a cool vibe. Once you get over that...the food is just awful. All frozen garbage and nothing is fresh from the shrimp to the chicken sandwich which even made the waiter laugh when I compared it to worse than the McDonald's $1 menu chicken sandwich.
