Such a big fan of this place! Service solid, great people. Lovely setting with lots of light whether indoors or out. Delicious food every single time. Their salads are my usual fave but I've had other gluten-free options that are great, too.

Had a great dinner last night at Red Grape. I started with the Gorgonzola salad lots of pecans, grapes, and fresh Fuji apple slices. The garlic bread was spot on, and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was absolutely amazing rich, and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent. I was greeted right away by a very friendly hostess, and the overall atmosphere had a really nice vibe. Comfortable, welcoming, and just a great place to enjoy dinner. Definitely looking forward to going back.

This place in downtown Sonoma is such a solid stop. The indoor space is really nice and spacious, the service was good, and the food was honestly amazing. The pizzas are thin and crispy, exactly how I like them. We ordered two: one with mushrooms and truffle, and another with corn and serrano peppers. Both were so good, no notes. Great vibe, great prices, and a perfect spot to hit after wine tasting Highly recommend

The Red Grape came highly recommended from our hotel staff and did not disappoint! It was our first meal off the plane, so we were starving. I started with a Caesar salad that was just ok, but pizza stole the show. There's so many fun, unique toppings and you can get half and half. We tried a white pizza and did half shrimp scampi, half Mediterranean. Both were so yummy! Our server Allison was AMAZING!!!!! She helped us navigate the menu and was lovely to chat with.

So pleased with my experience at The Red Grape! Their outdoor seating area was very peaceful and perfect for warm nights. I was blown away by their sweet and spicy cauliflower that was bursting with flavor and top tier texture. They had so many options for pizza, including a ton of veggie pizzas, and the mushroom and four on four pizzas were thin, crispy, and packed with tasty goodness.

We stopped in for our final dinner of our anniversary trip to Sonoma. We needed something low key but still slightly elevated. We got just what we needed at The Red Grape. We started with the Gorgonzola pecan salad, and my hubs got the local California lager on tap and I got the local Three Fat Guys red blend 2022. Delicious. We then shared a tasty pizza--half Hawaiian and half sausage/mushroom. Crut was crispy and somewhat thin but not cracker thin. Still had a delicious doughiness. We were tempted to get dessert, they had a good selection, but we opted not to for the sake of finding the local creamery in the plaza. Plus we were full! Will return in future.

Gotta say this was a sleeper. Great way to exit Sonoma. Went with a couple pizza choices and I gotta say they were both winners. The Margherita pizza was fire and the Peach & Prosciutto pizzas were fire. The setting is perfect from the outside patio to the indoor seating this is a prime location. Don't miss out on good ambiance and good food.

After staying at the Fairmont for a combo baby moon and 10 year anniversary, we decided to go here for dinner. We were really excited about the inclusion of some notable Connecticut pizza connections here and hoped it meant the food would be good. We had a long wait to order despite being only one of two tables filled in the restaurant. Our waitress was very uncertain about the menu and didn't have answers for our clarifying questions on some items. We decided to just go simple and order the margarita pizza to see how they do on an unfussy classic. When the pizza arrived, I thought for sure someone was pulling a prank on us. This thing was literally like a matzo cracker pizza. In fact I've had better pizzas on literal crackers before. Not only was the "crust" dry and brittle, but it was also flavorless. The toppings were very lackluster and even just the presentation of this dish was underwhelming. I definitely thought with a location like this basically in the Sonoma town square, we were almost guaranteed to have a good meal, but this definitely proved otherwise. Since we were staying at the hotel we didn't have our chickens to feed this to, or else we would have. Very disappointing experience with an even worse meal.

Overall great pizza with some unique menu offerings. Really enjoyed the pizza we got. In particular the crust is good. It's a thin crust pizza but it's more like a chip than it is a hard bread. Would definitely give it a shot if you're in town.

Popped in for some pizza and we ordered the truffle onion rings and Sonoma pizza! The pizza was great - thin crust with a crunch. Service staff were kind with coming by frequently to check on us. The restaurant is a clean one with booth and table style seating with a selection of wines and drinks to choose from. It's in a walkable area so it's quite romantic and lovely to dine and walk around afterward.

Came here for a quick bite after a boozy wine tasting. We had actually already had lunch, but our group of 5 needed a snack, and a shared pizza was the move. We ended up ordering the Margherita and Glen Ellen pizzas, and both were a hit! Loved the thin crust and flavorful toppings. Service was friendly and pizzas came up pretty quickly. We were here at an off time being post-lunch and pre-dinner, so getting a table was super easy. Would definitely come back here with its convenient Sonoma Square location and loads of parking nearby.

We were looking to grab us some late breakfast early lunch meal and we asked the local who highly recommended this wonderful restaurant! Everything was outstanding about the experience... The food... The service... great menu And all the staff members smiled! Highly recommend!!

For years, this has been my go-to pizza spot in Sonoma. Their food is consistently great and the service is always good. Try their Margherita pizza, the unique sweet and spicy cauliflower, or the fresh salmon ceviche. You won't be disappointed!

Don't expect a creamy risotto like an arborio rice risotto. This had so much flavor and a little chew to it as it was wild rice. I loved it. The vegetables, green beans and carrot--were vibrant and cooked just right. Everything was delicious. Service: From being greeted by the host and being attended to by my server, to the gentleman I assume is the owner who came to my table several times to ask how my meal was, the service was excellent. Attentive without hovering, and comfortably friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere: I sat on the patio under trellis with grapevines and clusters of big purple grapes overhead. The space felt intimate, but also open between tables. There were quite a few tables full, but it never felt loud or too busy. It was such a pretty, pleasant environment for a wonderful meal. I will be thinking about the texture of this pasta + the pistachio pesto for a long time. They kept the corn pudding of the original dish at the bottom and it was such a good combination of flavors. I got chicken added on top. I got an espresso martini with gin; pretty good, just wished there was a bit more espresso flavor. Probably would order one of their house cocktails instead next time. Lastly we had the stone fruit cobbler with ice cream and a pine nut/pistachio brittle. Unlike any other cobbler I've ever had. Perfection of different textures. I ate the 1/2 chicken. Airline cut. It was a little pullet, maybe 6 ounces. Cooked well. The spicy red sauce that was under the bird was outstanding. I'd be perfectly happy to have a plate of spaghetti with this sauce. The crunchy fingerling potatoes were fun at first, but as the meal went on I couldn't finish them. They were too oily and too salty. Dessert was the recommended cheesecake. Righteous. The exterior of the big slice had a mild Crème brûlée texture and the cake itself was a heavenly cloud. The poached strawberries were the perfect accompaniment. So, is this a 5 star meal & experience? No. i put it in the casual sort'a fine dining box. Last night I ate at The Girl and the Fig on the Sonoma town square. That meal was much more delicious for significantly less money. Tourists who are overly impressed with Michael Mina will be happy here. Locals like me who grew up eating at Sondra Bernstein's several restaurants over the years will be even happier.
