The breakfast each morning was out of this world... Just the smell alone, wafting up the stairs was enough to make you hungry. As a vegetarian (who doesn't eat eggs), Victor & Cam prepared a delicious breakfast for me. Also, Cam's blueberry muffins are chef's kiss! The enclosed backyard is a nice perk, my little guy loved running around & sniffing everything. The owners have an elderly dog, Molly, who is an absolute sweetheart - Very welcoming to us newcomers invading her space. We will absolutely come back! I just asked my husband what he would like to add to the review and he simply said "it was too short". So there you have it!

The space was beautiful, clean, and COVID safe. Our room (we stayed in the Beach room) was soooo nice, spacious & comfortable - the bathroom is incredible with a beautiful tub and huge rainfall shower! The YARD is amazing and a beautiful space for you and your pup to run around freely. Also the location is so convenient with shops just down the road as well as the beach. We were there in "off peak" season but had pretty great weather. Cam and Victor's breakfasts are also sooo delicious (the biscuits!!!). We can't say enough about how great this visit was- and so thankful for their hospitality- and loving on our Jadey girl. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I never received an acknowledgment of my email or any response. Lunch left a lot to be desired service wise. I have not been back since based on the experience I had there and, also based on their lack of response. It speaks for itself. Here is my email - Hi Leani - It's John O'Rourke again. Thank you for arranging and changing our lunch reservations for this past Monday. It's was a lovely location and a beautiful restaurant to return to. I have lived here for over twenty-five years now. My guests were so impressed by the respectful, well chosen, and stunning renovation. But, please allow me to mention some problems, as well as the previous compliments, that happened during our lunch. I believe feedback is important and can be productive. So for that purpose I send you these observations. - After we were seated and given menus - we waited at least 5 minutes before a waiter came to the table. - We were a party of four and, when two servers (not our waiter) put down our main courses - only two people in our party were served. We waited - thinking the other two orders would come out soon but, they didn't! Finally, we waved to our waiter who was not aware of the problem and, the entrees came out shortly after. - It's worth noting that none of the entrees served were presented in the 6 o'clock position where the plate is strategically placed in front of the diner. - Also, the wait staff never refilled our water glasses or asked if we would like another drink. Frankly, this is not the level of service I expected. And, if you would please pass my comments on to the proper person in the restaurant- I would appreciate that. I love East Hampton and, I am enthusiastic about the newly renovated Hedges. I wish you all well. Respectfully, John O'Rourke

I stayed at the Hedges Inn during the early spring for a bachelorette. We loved the accommodating staff members whom checked in with us frequently. The Inn is a brisk walk away from the relaxing beach. Staff provide you with passes. We had access to bikes for an enjoyable ride along the cobblestone and windmills. The room service was excellent and my bed was extra comfortable. My friends and I loved that breakfast was offered as a part of our stay. We couldn't locate many East Hampton locations which included this. The breakfast here was self-serve and delicious! Hands down I will visit The Hedges Inn next time I'm in the area. Thank you for making my stay super relaxing and memorable!

The Steam Room, the Sauna, the Rain Shower and Shiatsu Jacuzzi were just a few of the luxurious highlights. Our Room had a veranda with exceptional views of exquisite gardens, trails and sculptures. The owners/hosts Michael and Rosalind are just amazing and warm. We felt quite at home with their kindness and enthusiasm. They are also both exceptionally talented artists and sculptors. They each have their own personal studios within the villa with amazing pieces of their personal talents. The exquisite gardens, trails, and sculptures along with the extraordinary grounds adorned with a variety of greenery and colors, paint a vivid picture of a serene and beautiful environment all around you. There also are several imported artifacts all around as you walk the grounds. The fresh breakfast prepared by the staff and the access to Clearwater Beach were delightful additions to our experience. I would highly recommend a stay at The Art House

Did I mention the fire place? What's better than ending the night cuddled up by the fireplace with your loved one. There's a gym, a butlers pantry, games, and more. I can't wait to come back in the summer. There are things here that need to be seen and experienced when it's warmer. The ocean is a block away but it's too cold for that right now. They provide an exceptional breakfast in the am. The hosts make you feel extremely welcome - as if we were old friends. What more can I say? Stay here - you'll thank me later :-)

The rooms have iPod docks with 30-pin connectors. I mean at this point just remove them if you aren't going to replace them guys - they haven't worked with any iPhone since 2012. 3. A woman who fell squarely into the "surprised and afraid to find herself in charge of a hotel" category was incredibly rude to my wife when we were working from the room (as we had been told we could) the day we needed to inexplicably vacate it for a different room. "My husband is showering, we need 15 minutes." "You can't have 15 minutes." Like, what are you going to do? Forcibly remove us from the room? You guys were the ones who told us we could use the room. 4. I should also note that the rooms were LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO EACH OTHER and to my eye completely identical. (The one we moved to had a small balcony but otherwise I didn't detect any material difference.) It doesn't seem like an insurmountable puzzle to solve that you could have just put the other people into the vacant room. 5. They decided for some reason to empty the hotel's septic tank during our friends' wedding photos. 6. It's one of those places where a hopeless fussy person has laminated lots of signs with rules and instructions. Do NOT remove the laminated guide to the room from the room itself. Do NOT use any towel other than the blue ones for removing makeup. Do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper because the house has EXTREMELY sensitive plumbing. It all seems like someone very, very angry runs the place. (Is there a significant problem with guests removing the laminated guide from the room?) One star for a good location and another star for a pretty good breakfast (you are entitled to ONE cooked item, per the rules).
