Our Artful experience at The Art House Villa B&B in East Hampton was quite wonderful. My wife and I enjoyed our night stay in the Master Suite and Spa Room. The Steam Room, the Sauna, the Rain Shower and Shiatsu Jacuzzi were just a few of the luxurious highlights. Our Room had a veranda with exceptional views of exquisite gardens, trails and sculptures. The owners/hosts Michael and Rosalind are just amazing and warm. We felt quite at home with their kindness and enthusiasm. They are also both exceptionally talented artists and sculptors. They each have their own personal studios within the villa with amazing pieces of their personal talents. The exquisite gardens, trails, and sculptures along with the extraordinary grounds adorned with a variety of greenery and colors, paint a vivid picture of a serene and beautiful environment all around you. There also are several imported artifacts all around as you walk the grounds. The fresh breakfast prepared by the staff and the access to Clearwater Beach were delightful additions to our experience. This place is beyond beautiful. If you appreciate art this place is an amazing experience. They have an indoor infinity pool and outdoor pool that's completely frozen over (it's February). The entire house has displays of artwork everywhere - this is like MoMa. Did I mention the fire place? What's better than ending the night cuddled up by the fireplace with your loved one. There's a gym, a butlers pantry, games, and more. I can't wait to come back in the summer. There are things here that need to be seen and experienced when it's warmer. The ocean is a block away but it's too cold for that right now. They provide an exceptional breakfast in the am. The hosts make you feel extremely welcome - as if we were old friends. Beautiful. Inviting. Quiet. Comfortable. Luxurious... I could keep going, we absolutely loved this house. Beyond what I imagined. The breakfast was delicious, the hosts were like dear old friends and I don't have words to describe the master spa suite, it blew my mind. The bathroom in that suite is masterpiece in itself. Staying at the Art House for our anniversary was incredible, a weekend we will surely remember. Every aspect of our stay was incredible, from Michael giving us great suggestions for sightseeing and dining to the incredible room and the great atmosphere that infuses the entire property. The owners are both artists with incredible taste and they have created an amazing B&B that is an absolute joy to visit. Breakfast was also terrific, with great food and a beautiful setting with small (very cute) turtles occasionally coming by to visit. Without a doubt my favorite place we have ever stayed. read more

We ended up here because our other lodging plans in the area fell through, but what a fantastic surprise the Art House ended up being! The rooms were clean and beautiful, and when we walked in we were treated more like visiting relatives than like hotel guests. What also makes this location special is the beautiful setup, and the cozy common areas that are surrounded by unique, interesting art throughout. Though we came to the Art House off peak season, the surrounding pool area and unique gardens were still lovely to walk through and be around. Though we're used to the typical chain hotel conveniences and service while traveling, this experience was much more relaxing, comfortable, and personal than we are used to or expected. Looking forward to returning here at some point to enjoy it further. read more

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here. The innkeepers were fabulous! They encourage guests to explore each of their studios. It was wonderful discussing the process of creating and seeing works in progress as well as older ones. Our Mastersuite room was beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable. read more

My fiance and I got engaged at Art House on New Years Eve! Not only is this B&B gorgeous, Michael and Rosalind helped make our night very special. They were very accommodating and gave great recommendations of places to go in the area. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable, and clean! We loved that there were a lot of activities to do. I made a reservation for a two night stay about five weeks before we would be visiting. 36 HOURS later, we found out that our daughter would be going in for significant cancer treatment. I contacted Art House B&B and told them what had happened and that we had to cancel our reservation. After only 36 frigging hours, they had the nerve to charge me a $243.00 "cancellation" fee. Can you believe this? These people have absolutely NO HEART! Why in the world would anyone want to spend intimate time with these people? Make reservations at your own peril. read more

After a bad situation on our Airbnb rental my girlfriend contacted the Art House and spoke with Michael. He had a room available and was able to accommodate our last minute request (we called at 11AM and checked in at 2PM). This is the amazing inn that is more of a 5 star type experience than a typical B&B. The room was spotless and quiet, the pool was perfect, hot tub hot, and the fire pit was perfect for a chilly hamptons night. The breakfast was a whatever you could want and there was also a fully stocked butler pantry. Will we go back... of course. read more

My husband and I and two friends just got back from my favorite place I have ever stayed. The accomodations are beyond my expectations. The owners, Roz and Michael couldnt have been more welcoming and wonderful hosts. You feel like you are staying with friends or family. The breakfast Michael prepared every morning was first class. Sitting outside every morning, looking over the beautiful backyard and being served anything our hearts desired for breakfast was truly a wonderful way to start our day in the Hamptons.
